>Boys Club is getting a book release this year
how the fuck have I not heard about this until now?
The amazon description is intresting
>Cartoonist Matt Furie’s deadpan comics showcase slacker roommates Andy, Brett, Landwolf, and Pepe in a series of comical vignettes combining laconic psychedelia, childlike enchantment, drug-fueled hedonism, and impish mischief. The perpetually insouciant glaze of his characters belie the sharp verbal and visual wit of Furie, who delivers a stoner classic for the Tumblr generation. In fact, Furie’s wildly popular teenage weirdoes became an overnight internet sensation when Pepe the Frog was widely adopted by users of 4chan and remixed ad infinitum from there (including uses by pop stars like Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry), giving Boy’s Club built-in recognition with many. A spiritual cousin to Simon Hanselmann’s Megahex and Joán Cornella’s Mox Nox, Boy’s Club’s sense of humor will especially resonate with fans of stoner comedies and black humor. Black & white illustrations throughout

Furie's finally taking advantage of his meme status it seems.
He's always seemed cool with it and never really tried to jump onto the bandwagons by creating new comics with Pepe or anything. He just sort of let it happen and continued to draw new weird shit.
Well actually. He rebooted Boy's Club last year, I could dump, or you just look at his tumblr.
It seems with the whole second renaissance of Pepe (rare, tumblr, twitter) he's starting to jump on it a bit. I can't find it but he recently sold a crappy drawing of sad Pepe with the meme colors for a pretty penny.
His other art is rad man. I really hope his Adult Swim pilot gets picked up, or at least looks like his art.
>You will be able to own an actual official book of Pepes
What a time to be alive. Think i'll hang on a little longer.
Pepe has changed a lot since that original issue of Boy's Club, hasn't he? A lot more than any other meme I can think of. It reminds me of how the Anglo-Saxons in England and the mainland Saxons in Germany began to differentiate themselves from one another after a few centuries of being separated.
He goes through phases it seems. Just like a
10 is here,
based off this image, pretty neat read.
I hate this
I hate everything on it, I wish it would go away, burn anyone who brings it up and erase it from existence.
and that's it for now, unless we get some new strips in this mysterious book.
here's some misc stuff I don't see posted around very often.
This was for some magazine called the Believer, done by a guest artist cause Furrie was on vaca. I believe that issue 3 ran through this magazine, but don't quote me on that.
another coloring done by some anon
Hmm, didn't know that. Neat.
Okay for real now, that's it.
Tumblr's ass, so just follow artists you like who don't participate in bullshit.
How many books are there? I got up to 4
>That feel when 99.9% of people who see this book will think this sentence
Everything Furie does is disturbing, he has a short animation where it starts with this guy is watching tv in his shitty apartment but almost immediately you just hear people arguing through his walls and he's just sitting there looking at the direction the sound is coming from. And then it cuts to what he's watching, which is some video of a guy getting eaten by a woman whIle on a date.
The guy who made this has also an animated pilot coming to Adult Swim.
>Doble Fried – Doble Fried is a 6-pack of carnival freaks who run a low-rent amusement park smack drab on the border of Mexico and Not-Mexico. Whether it’s 4:20, beer-thirty, or crazy clown time, these dudes are constantly trying to scam money and score lady lizard honey. It’s a rickety roller coaster ride from the deep fried, clogged heartland of our failure. This quarter-hour animated pilot is created by Matt Furie and produced by PFFR.
I even made a thread about it and nobody cared.
Silverfish and Centipedes are not the same species. In fact, the very article you link to says that Centipedes eat Silverfish.
I've seen both. Centipedes are big, scary, they can sting, and they are literally the fastest animal on Earth relative to their size. Also as soon as they feel threatened (for example if you touch them when they are on a wall) the very first thing they do is they let themselves fall to the floor and then scuttle away. This promptly results in me trying to kill them on the ceiling/wall and watch them leap down at mach speed like a disgusting little missile of fear that only by miracle never fell on my face.
Silverfish are small dumb things that look kind of pathetic, live in groups (centipedes hate each other) and peacefully scuttle around on walls trying to hide beneath stuff and eating mold.
They're not that small, I guarantee you couldn't hold an average-sized one in one hand without a leg or an antenna poking out from some side.
They might be the biggest house-critters I've ever seen. Sure I've seen bigger scarabs, but they're exceptional and live in the open. The smallest centipedes are pretty much as big as my mouse.
I guess the body isn't that big, but the legs and extremities are really long and disgusting.
Even if this guy is baiting, there are people who will actually think this. That makes me really, REALLY sad.
what did you think about his game?
mfw some normie comic artist ripped off the rape Pepe meme painting I made
>Bird-Dog is still in the cast
>not in any of the promo art
