>Anon asked: “Pretty much done?” As in, Illuminated Wars is the end for Illuminating Comics?
>Answer is, yes, it’s probably going to be that way. Won’t get into too much detail now, but it was always meant to be that way honestly.
The End Begins!
I would read a Carol ongoing with this writer at the helm.

always liked this
It's truly a shame when the parody is a better comic than the original

Aww, I wanted to see how he'd tackle All New All Different Marvel.

Plot device.
>>79092165
Carol is right, everybody lost everything and only Reed is being dramatic. He deserves it for trying to get all his family and friends in while everybody else had to win the Manifold lottery.

Just started reading this... I'm pissing myself. Brilliant work.
Hey guys, Illuminated here.
I just wanna say, thanks for the support. After I finished the first rounds of storytimes of EII, I avoided posting more pages here, because I feel kinda awful doing so, even anonimously, as if I'm starving for compliments or attention, but others did in my place, and I have to thank them.
Here, have these two pages as a thank you.
I don't plan on completing this, the book itself is too bland even to spoof.

Thank you...
Those tags are real by the way. I ddin't come up with a single one. I needed five minutes on the actual site to find them.
Not sure if that makes them funnier or not.

>Illuminated Comics is ending
Well shit. You were the last ties I had to Marvel.
>>79093432
Couple of reasons.
First of all, from the start, I always wanted to do Hickman’s run, and nothing more. Everything else just sort of happened by accident when SW started getting delayed. The tumblr account was just supposed to be padding until I could complete the original parody.
Secondly, I just don’t feel like I’m doing stuff as “funny” as before. I know there’re some that think I was never fun to begin with, and that’s fair, but from my point of view at least I’ve always tried to post stuff that I personally found funny. That started missing a bit recently.
But the biggest one really is that recently I read much less comics than usual. My marvel pull list is dying out, that’s my main source. DC gets already chewed up enough online, and there’s no point in parodying indies really.

I'm still laughing, it's just that Marvel seems to try and outdo you in ridiculous stories. It's hard to mock a company that's pants-on-head retarded.

This is the first time I've seen it but I wish this was canon. All of it.

Liberal arts college man, I'm still surprised that I was able to get away with making my final project about Illuminated.
>>79094956
How did you like Guardians of the Infinity? You mentioned being excited about it in your fake Marvel Now collage.
>getting away with making your Illuminated comic your final project for college
You magnificent bastard. I love it.
>>79094686
Of what? Any EII storytime is automatically ruined by the presence of Chapter I, that is my biggest regret of this entire thing.
>>79094930
Books I don’t think are bad, didn't keep my interest: Ultimates stopped after 3, Guardians of Infinity still reading, Sam Wilson: Captain America stopped after 2, Ms. Marvel, stopped after 2.
I did like Karnak, but I keep forgetting that I did, because issue 2 hasn’t showed up in forever (guess because of ellis health?)
Squadron Supreme I gave a chance, but I ended up not liking for various reasons.
I wait for Captain Marvel this Wednesday, but I seriously doubt it will win me over.

>I did like Karnak, but I keep forgetting that I did, because issue 2 hasn’t showed up in forever (guess because of ellis health?)
Which is ironic, seeing as how he stopped Moon Knight, stole its artist, and made a book called INJECTION with him.
>>79095265
>chapter 1 is bad
and why does that matter?
>>79095265
>I did like Karnak, but I keep forgetting that I did, because issue 2 hasn’t showed up in forever (guess because of ellis health?)
According to Axel, it was gerardo having problems in real life that caused the delays. Well it is now slated for February 10th.
>>79095265
>Karnak
did you try the other Inhumans books? Or vision and hulk? Personally I like uncanny avengers it started off crap but it has picked up.

I think You have me mixed up with someone else, I'm not really a fan or the Guardians of [fill in the blank].
Also it was the final project for a digital humanities class, so it was less about the paper I wrote and more about me finding an application for digital humanities.

Ok, just sent them.
I should warn you that the paper is not worth bragging about and I had to find the “deeper meaning” in the graphs I made, so I can’t say I’m too proud of the end result. However, the project was more about the application of digital humanities than anything. My only regret is I only had time to do 12 chapters.

Sad to see you announcing the end of this stuff - I didn't always like it, but the good stuff was brilliant.
Perhaps Marvel nowadays doesn't even deserve your attention - parody might still be more publicity than they deserve.

There's you answer. Guy is not a journalist, he just lurks 4chan to look for the newest 'rumours'
>>79102454
Rich is known for lurking here for "news" stories. I can't remember if it was Bleedingcool or somewhere else that took the Frank edit thread a few years back and ruined the whole thing by changing the filenames.
>>79102454
Bleeding Cool has been coming here for years. Rich got McDuffie fired from JLA because of out of context excerpts from a thread we had
>>79102454
