> Tfw there are no bridges where you live and most buildings are one story whilst anything bigger is hard to gain access to the roof.
Enough people have jumped from the water tower that they have that thing on lockdown. Its a shame
Are gay aliens in kid's cartoons the hot new thing?
You can thank the CRTC requirements for that. A certain percentage of all media aired in Canada has to be either fully or partially made in Canada or by persons from Canada. Which means a lot of garbage gets the green light because "it's Canadian" and potentially good stuff has a lot more to compete with for air time or even being made in the first place.
When my friend suggested this, I couldn't make it pass the second episode.
>Not even this piece of chocolate could save this thing.
Black chick's mom is played by Johnny's mom
Kid with orange hair is Bling-Bling Boy
The two aliens are stand-ins for Mr. Black and Mr. White (I think one of them even has the same VA too)
That being said, this show isn't nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. Very tolerable.
Now if only you all would actually jump off a bridge instead of shitposting about shows you don't like.
I know damn well nobody actually likes Supernoobs, so if the detractors die off I'll never have to hear about it again.
I'm not the only one that thinks the aliens look like the Covenant?
Yeah I thought I was the only one who noticed that Mem and Zen are blatant ripoffs of the arbiter.
Their repeating the same mistakes of Johnny Fest in story telling.
This show sports some good possibilities, but the writing...
>At least no whip slash.
I feel like shows from Canada need to be judged on a different standard
It's certainly not comparable to anything from CN's main lineup, but when put next to stuff like Sidekick or JT, where the unlikable characters vastly outnumber the likable ones, it's really not THAT bad.
With how the two aliens look after the kids and try to protect them (while still being annoyed by them), there's a sense of "warmth" that I guess the other shows I mentioned just don't have. Any time JT has an episode where Johnny learns to appreciate his family, it feels really cynical and forced.
Adventure time. The new writers have fucked it up beyond repair and it is now filled to the brim with forced shipping and writing you would find in a fanfiction written by a 13 year old girl.
