It was confirmed by Bobby Curnow like 12 hours ago on The Technodrome forums that they would not in fact be re-printing them. He said he'd look into the reason as he himself was unaware.

I don't know why but it really bothered me that Mikey was referred to as a friend rather than brother twice in the new episode.

Personally, I find the one-noted "always angry" Raphael to be dull. It's obviously very subjective. I like Leonardo because he's very caught up in his own head, I like characters that are driven by introspection. For me, that makes him especially interesting on his own, but it's something I identify with as a person who has had to take charge throughout life without necessarily wanting to bear the burden. Leo is definitely for "the eldest son" fans.

I finally saw the 2014 movie last night and it wasn't that bad as I thought it would be though the 2nd and 3rd act got a little generic at times. The sequel looks incredibly promising

I would prefer it if she was left out, maybe have Ninjara in the comic instead. But there could probably be an okey way too handle it. This is just me going on a rant but here's how IDW could handle her. Like have her be a seperate mutated turtle where the same thing just happened to her but in china, but don't have her also be reincarnated. but have her not really be that connected to the turtles. You can keep the chinese kung fu thing going but I'm not so sure about the magic. Perhaps have her be evil at first, like an assassin. But that might be too close to Alopex. Don't have it be the all the guys want her thing. The chinese thing would let us know that there are things happening on global scale too and put a twist on the character.

Agreed, most definitely. We're four seasons deep on the Nick cartoon, so I feel the hierarchy of the TMNT cartoons is pretty clearly defined at this point.

On a sidenote, I always thought it was cool how each TMNT cartoon ran so long and were so spaced out from each other that they never felt the need to add a subtitle. They're all simply called "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".

That said, I wouldn't mind if they started a new series up right after the Nick series finishes.

I hope the first Shredder fight is a fight you're "supposed to lose", as in, the enemy gets priority on all his moves and has way more health than anyone else and your moves don't phase him. Losing triggers a cutscene that moves the game along, but if you DO manage to somehow win the fight, you get a special cutscene (that evidently ends up leading back to the same point as the first one), an achievement and Shredder mentioning your previous victory during the rematch later on.

Slash has always been a fave. I dug the toy/ Archie look with him as a villain. It looked like they were gonna go with a similar design in the idw April one shot but opted for the snapping turtle look. Maybe I'll get to see Dark turtles in lieu of that.

Michael Zullo arc was great in the original run. I loved that art. I really like smith and Campbell on the new run and look forward to more Dialynas.

The only time I've really been invested in that ship is when Elias Koteas and Judith Hoag brought some legit chemistry into it.

TMNT has never done romance well, which is honestly fine with me. TMNT's always been about familial love, not romantic love. Which is partly why I find Donnie's crush on April (as well as Nick TMNT's obsession with pairing off the turtles in general) to be so annoying and forced.
