So, will Ice King become Simon again or did Betty just do bullshit with his crown because she's a psycho now?
I don't know tbqh. On one side Adventure Time is getting interesting again, but if they don't handle this plot it will be anticlimactic as fuck.
My guess goes to Simon becoming human again though, or Betty dies in a comedic event led by Magic Man
Thing is, if Simon becomes human again he'll probably die because of his age as another episode already revealed. I don't know if Betty's magic can fix this. Also I actually have no idea about what she did with the crown
No, because Ice king is one of the few funny characters alongside jake and occasionally finn.
Simon is fucking boring. I hated the episodes with Simon. He is fucking dull as bones.
There is NO WAY they'll remove one of the core characters.
Also they make dosh off of merchandise for kids from him.
I think most people are talking about it happening at the end of the show, not before. We already had this discussion in a past thread, there's no reason for him to become Simon again if there's one or two entire seasons left
She's never been a good character. At least they got rid of her annoying voice though and she actually serves a purpose
We have no idea about if that is Ice King or a whole other person.
/co/ memes are worse than /tv/ ones tbf
I don't think Magic Man was that far out before he completely lost Margles. He looked more like the partner who was in denial about losing his loved one and turned insane when he finally realized it, but otherwise was a pretty normal dude before.
What if Magic Man's powers are filled with his emotions, meaning that since Betty now has them she feels an even greater urge to get her Margles aka Simon back?
Ice king isnt core anymore for one he has not been in hardly any episodes.
for two simon with his knowledge could be super interesting being jake and finns smart third hero buddy.
I'll love it if they seriously turn IK into Simon again by the end of the show or get him killed, that would be some actual fun development. Also I hope Betty dies for some funnily tragical reason
Maybe the plan is eventually to yank the crown jewels out and hide them in someone's vagina until Ice King turns back into Simon.
It makes sense to hide the jewels in a vagina because it's somewhere we know Ice King will never get to go.
The future Ice Thing is really a vagina with out of control pubes. The horn in is clit. This makes sense if you look up Carroll Dunham on Google Images. That's Lena Dunham's dad: check out his paintings.
Simon's earlier translation into a more pleasing form is indicative of the direction the trial has positioned him.
This is reflective of the spell cast unto the crown and signals the path of simon's redemption.
>I'll love it if they seriously turn IK into Simon again by the end of the show or get him killed, that would be some actual fun development.
Not before actually finding a way to magically bring Fionna and Cake into the real world of the show—and be devastated to discover that Fionna has no interest in him.
NOTHING WILL CHANGE
IF IT DOES CHANGE IT WILL ONLY BE FOR TWO EPISODES
Hopefully all those episodes that hint at the future: destroyed Candy Kingdom, Finn's treehouse growing into the clouds, Ice King Beard monster, etc. will be present in the last season/episodes at least.
So the complaint is about the VA, not the character herself?
they won't even let the most minor of characters like Root Beer Guy stay dead, so of course classic Ice King can't "die". this Ice King/Simon thing was dead in the water from the start, I don't know what they think they're doin.
AT has to end eventually, I figure we will get some real plot development when the movie comes.
Personally I just hope we get an episode centered on Huntress Wizard.
People just like to bitch and moan about something that dosent even involve them or the character in the show that person voices, they just want every excuse possible to hate her for whatever stupid excuse they have in there heads, they also want to feel morally superior..
>Also they make dosh off of merchandise for kids from him.
The only time I have only time I have ever seen an Adventure Time toy is at a con (it was the Jake suit, like two weeks after that episode came out actually, I shoulda got it but figured I could get it for cheaper elsewhere). Other than that there's video games and that one poster of the whole cast standing on a green field with Jake being a giant ball in the back. I work at a few big retailers and have never seen a single AT toy in their kids sections. Merchandising can't be THAT big of a deal to AT.
Actually I don't think Cartoon Network is really big on merchandising and cares more about television ratings. I have never seen a single toy of a Cartoon Cartoon in my life, maybe a few of Teen Titans.
>he wouldn't fuck Dr. Mrs. The Monarch
get good, nigga
As much as I love Adventure Time, they are too afraid of ruining their precious status quo. The final nail in the coffin with the Stakes special. They don't care about progressing their story all that much. As long as they can hint at Bubbline they can distract us from the fact that eight episodes were wasted on Marceline despite it giving us a cool lion and the only good song(from sucrose) the song has had in a while(since sucrose left). Finn will always have both arms and we just need to learn to deal with it.
When you get on a roller-coaster you know you'll generally end up leaving it at the same place you got on, but it's the ride itself which is the point. Sticking close to the status quo's not automatically a bad thing, so long as the show stays entertaining.
So when is
Jakegonna fuck that suddenly-curvy prison puss.
Jake's too loyal to lady. Also, Jmoyns originally had Jake cheat on Lady with Samantha, but Pen said their relationship was too sacred t be violated.
Finn would take a swing at her if he got desperate again like in Breezy though.
>They made an entire song to excuse their shitty writing.
While there's no telling what CN is thinking, it wouldn't surprise me if AT is slowly making its way out. Ratings are down and it's getting less attention/advertisement (correct me if I'm wrong, since I don't have cable to know for sure, but a lot of anons weren't aware that new eps aired this week).
It reminds me a bit of the final seasons of Chowder and Flapjack. By time the end approached, they were airing new episodes but they had zero advertisement. CN likes to do that with shows.
I don't want to particularly defend AT on this matter, but ratings are down pretty much everywhere on many cartoon channels, especially on CN. They don't know how to have proper schedule consistency, lack real advertisments and only milk one or two milkcows like >>79097851 says. Even SU is just doing "comparatively" good to other shows, its ratings are also falling down albeit slower because a new big fanbase exists. Outside the US and some Latin American countries AT is still extremely huge though, I've never met any person in my life who watches anything else on CN other than a guy who likes Gumball.
I wish I had saved that picture that showed ratings for top 100 shows in terms of ratings for a particular week, and it was 90% Spongebob. It got posted a lot when DC Nation airing because of how much Sponge reruns dominated the ratings.
I'd also be curious to see a similar pic from the era of TTG.
I don't think it's that much the case with TTG. Although CN is pushing the show extremely hard it never really caught on, even if children enjoy watching it. TTG isn't a particularly popular show considering the publicity it gets
Also the Bomb strategy was one of the worst ideas they ever came up for their show schedules.
It's basically a self-fulliling situation. Thye range episodes into "Bombs" thinking that the ratings are high whenever they do that so they save a lot of episodes which could have easily been spruced through the weeks, but the issue here is, yes, people do watch on the many for each Bomb but not because the Bomb itself is the right strategy, but because thanks to the bomb we had weeks of episode deprivation!
Of COURSE SU ratings will be high on each Bomb, since they just, it's the only time new episodes come out since they have to spend weeks and even months with absolutely nothing!
If that's true, then why does it use so much of the schedule, I wonder.
It is really easy and fast to produce than the other CN shows? Is it WB pushing to get as much out there as possible? Both? Or is it really that popular with the demographic?
Not even AT and RS had this amount of slots in their hay-day. This is almost Spongebob in Nick-levels.
she molested her younger sister or an underage person or whatever, and it became a meme to have a "real" reason to hate AT, as every other reason is just bullshit that gets quickly called out.
Creator of some HBO show girls town. She is a major voice in Hollywood feminismm. In her memoir she wrote how she put pebbles inside her little sisters vagina when she was thirteen and her sister was four. This activity went on to more controlling behaviour.
You're exactly right here.
It's a standard comedy show with flashy colours and lots of explosions while having a pretty mediocre plot, so they quickly smelled easy money here. As it didn't go as well as they expected they just thought it didn't get enough attention and increased the frequency of airings by a shitload. iirc it still didn't really worked and it's the main reason why it's slowly getting less now.
Also the AT thing depends on the countries, I generally watch the show on three different local Cartoon Networks and all three are stuffed with Adventure Time, as every other series is pretty unpopular overseas.
I could humor you and say yes but im a gay man, above that i dont find sentient sticks of gum sexy, but it was a completely new outfit and hairstyle probably only for that episode.
>So people are talking about how maybe Betty used Orgalorg to absorb the crowns power and then later on orgalorg becomes the Ice Thing from Graybles 1000+, which is a pretty good theory.
>But have you noticed how the gem that the ice thing is missing is the same gem that Orgalorg is plugged into?
That's actually a pretty valid theory, although there isn't much else to backup it. We first need to know what's the current deal with Orgalorg before we can jump to conclusions.
