Someone's still going to notice once the attack's been ended, though. Unless Merc was planning to run off once the attack happened, I don't think this was the smartest means of revealing himself.
Might as well say it again:
This is gonna sound like a weird fucking complaint but with all this Penny stuff I hoped we could see the Red and Blue guards assigned to her at the dance again. I mean one of them even went as far as to dance with her too. Maybe show some people expect Ruby care about her.
>With her aura up a kick to the head wouldn't do much
>This ain't halo, a smack to the back isn't guaranteed lethal.
We don't know that. Again, the rules of Aura are just so inconsistent that there's no reason to believe anything about them. Plus, her guard was down from being sad at Penny.
There's a lot more than that I think
Let her eat you with her chest
"Why is she on the floor, crying? Why am I looking so drunk and angry? Oh my god, I'm just like my fucking father, aren't I?
Oh no, next I'm going to force her into getting an augmentation... Oh look, we already have some spare parts in the Arena that we can use!"
>Someone's still going to notice once the attack's been ended, though.
At that point, who cares? There was just a fucking Grimm invasion.
It's kind of like how all the other news that was going on was shut the fuck down during 9/11 or 11/13 because there was more important shit going on.
People don't just fucking drop everything just because a terrorist attack has happened. Sure, it'd take priority, but once it's over, someone's going to notice. There's nothing stopping Ruby from letting everybody know about Merc once this attack is over, especially since it lets her clear Yang's name.
The plan, as best as we understand it at this point, is to make people fucking pissed so that the grim can come to fuck their negative thoughts.
The grim come and fuck shit up so that Cinder can become the fall maiden while everyone is on Duty
At this point, if any one manages to see Merc and put 2 and 2 and 3x+/-6^8 together, I doubt that it'd be everyone getting it to a point where it matters in the moment.
The grim are here, people are scared, the city needs defending. Seeing something off won't change any of that.
>>Again, standing right fucking there, two feet away.
>How much oil will he use?
Is it really that troubling?
And Mercury's cover is unnecesary now. It's done. They accomplished what they wanted?
Yang's innocent of breaking his leg? Whoop-de-do, her actions are still "proof" that she was trained by "Child soldiers for hire" Ozpin. And Cinder already made Haven look bad too, so now Haven is that place where kids lose their legs and get replacements and are still expected to fight against literal military hardware
No, her plan is to cause chaos so she can attack Beacon and steal what's left of Amber's powers.
Because he still could've had an alibi that would cast suspicion on Yang. Instead, it's been ruined, and he'll end up getting put on a Most Wanted list when Cinder could've just multitasked.
I said AFTER the attack was dealt with.
Can't answer your question but they're called bullheads.
>her actions are still "proof" that she was trained by "Child soldiers for hire" Ozpin.
Wasn't that the entire point of Beacon? Training Magical Girls for fighting off demon hordes? Doesn't everyone in the world know that?
>We will never see an A-10 come in for an anti-grimm attack run
>We will never see the beasts flee in terror from the BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT
dunno if anyone has posted this yet
Source and Genius is glorious Ghost Church
>Variable fighters fighting grimm
I can accept that
To be honest, what are the odds that every single person on Remnant doesn't know about dangers of hunting or combat? It's not like fighting Grimm is a nice job with no pain whatsoever, especially if you've seen their big fangs and claws. You can't train that without sweating either, and hiring old people would be silly.
>Because he still could've had an alibi that would cast suspicion on Yang.
They don't NEED Yang in trouble or out of commission. They needed Yang to incite panic and cast doubt on Ozpin's training. Fucking done.
>Most Wanted list
Who. The fuck. Cares? This is what you're not getting. Plan has come to fruition. Disaster and the end times are railing. People don't trust the government. White Fang are casually strolling in to break everyone's shit. Mammoth grimm are in the streets. Nevermore's are attacking the peace moon. Ironwood's shooting his own shit down.
No one but the brass are going to care about Mercury still being functional. The government and military have zero support from the people, and as far as it looks, the government is just trying to scapegoat what everyone believes to be a cripple boy.
Merc being exposed to Ruby doesn't do shit to everything at large.
But yay, Yang is innocent...except people will just see that as "N-No, Mercury was evil and lying, don't worry. The girl with anger issues that caused you all to panic in the first place is innocent. We're arming her and giving her a badge to shoot criminals in the name of the law."
Mercury "180 Change of heart" Black...
Alternatively "Slipping into a crippling depression" Black
Hmmm yang frozen in a popsicle idea.
The plan was meant to be just this. Who cares after that?
It's like in metal gear. If you escape, and the mission is complete, your stealth isn't vital.
And as another anon said, it's Ruby's biased word against what the audience saw and official reports.
I imagine huntsmen are like a cross between Mercenaries and Federal Marshals. They're the enforcers to end all enforcers on the public side. If huntsmen are gathering in your city, pray it's for a festival or something.
So people know they exist, but all they really understand is "trained way better than you to stop things that want to slaughter you and your family."
Nostradamus dish washer posted another prophecy
Well, given that the girl turned out to be a robot, it might have been shock. And given that Cinder's announcement and the Grimm attack happened immediately after, their minds were probably elsewhere.
>Training Magical Girls for fighting off demon hordes?
Evil hordes are one thing. Cinder's gotten everyone thinking that Beacon's training up soldiers to fight Ironwood's literal military occupation of the city, dropping the world into WW2+Grimm
You're really overthinking this.
By privately telling Ironwood and Ozpin how Merc was setting these things up, and tell him about what Yang, Pyrrha and Coco saw in their fights once the situation's been dealt with, then they'll know she's innocent and be able to trust Team RWBY again. It doesn't need to be public.
What do you realistically expect to happen in Episodes 10 to 12?
>Cinder's gotten everyone thinking that Beacon's training up soldiers to fight Ironwood's literal military occupation of the city
No, that was contextless fearmongering to attract the Grimm to the city. Nobody's actually going to take it seriously once the crisis has passed, because EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS WAS DONE TO FIGHT DEMONS, NOT EACH OTHER.
>You're really overthinking this.
I'm really not. Yang being innocent helps RWB get their Y back, but does nothing with the greater situation. That's what matters. Who cares that Yang can be with her team again? RWB? JNPR? CFVY? That's pretty much it. Yang's one girl compared to the disaster that Cinder just set in motion.
Honestly, Yang's just unimportant. Was that what you were focusing on? Merc revealing himself means Yang's not grounded anymore? There's more going on.
But James, you are the demons.
>No, that was contextless fearmongering to attract the Grimm to the city.
And it worked. Really well.
>Nobody's actually going to take it seriously once the crisis has passed
Nobody ever stops taking shit like that seriously. Why would you even think that? Besides, Ironwood is military occupying the city, Ironwood's apparently commissioning cute little girl spybot death machines, and Ozpin's students are doing a good job looking like they barely know how to not execute their enemies. The worst part of the fearmongering is that they have a buttload of proof, all over the media.
Because I'm bored as fuck
Your rwby waifu
Favorite anime this season
There are too many.
Neo, because she a cute
Yang, because I have a thing for huge tits
Pyrrha, because I want her to have my children
Neon, because she's the most obvious one to be a sex freak
>the disaster that Cinder just set in motion.
Oh please. I guarantee you this situation's going to be completely contained by the season's end. Cinder's group will flee with Torchwick and Adam, the Grimm will be all killed or recaptured by the antagonists, Ironwood's lost his fleet and Penny, the tourney will be over, and we just get a bit less comic relief in Season 4.
Dagashi Kashi, or that one about the girl who loves bones.
How's everyone doing? Upset my handegg team lost in OT yesterday. So I decided to expand the PAX ROMANA in the name of Neo, what have you guys been doing for your waifus.
>In response to the festival grimm attack, Headmaster Ozpin saw it fit to release Yang Xaio Long from house arrest early. Despite complaints that the girl is dangerous, Ozpin had little to say to the media about his decision.
In all seriousness though, what can the addition of Yang do to undo Cinder's gigantic victory?
>Ironwood is military occupying the city
Their military is going to be completely destroyed by the end of the season, though.
>Ironwood's apparently commissioning cute little girl spybot death machines
Wasn't he already showboating robot stormtroopers and death mechs last season?
>Ozpin's students are doing a good job looking like they barely know how to not execute their enemies
According to the narrative of a single smug voice over the intercom drowned out by demons, terrorist attacks, and screaming civilians.
I feel like its on every season but Monogatari, Head tilts intensify
Well guys after weeks of internal struggle i finally figured out who my waifu is
Blakeso now i need A collection of Blake Greentext stories if you anons want to help me
Is it bad I cringed more at Cinder's speech than at the Breach? Jesus fucking Christ, Nigri's horrible.
>According to the narrative of a single smug voice over the intercom drowned out by demons, terrorist attacks, and screaming civilians.
Who also took credit for causing all of it.
Sadly it's come tot he point where I couldn't imagine her having any other voice than the shitty one she already has.
Everything can go back to normal, Valencia safe, Yang proven innocent, Penny repaired, Pyrrha stable and not sinking Arkos. All that and more, and they'll STILL say it all went according to Cinder's plan
No I'm just trying to binge it.
I can't find anything interesting.
Well, no. She didn't. She didn't say anything about Emerald making the girls hallucinate, nor did she say anything about the White Fang, and in the midst of the panic, I doubt anyone's going to be making that connection. Afterwards, certainly, but now? They've got other things on their mind.
The worst part is that her acting is so bad that my subconscious blocks out the memory of hearing it, but not the feeling I get. I can't recall the specifics of her voice for some reason.
I guess Neo
Dimension W or boku dake ga inai machi.
The PSO2 Anime look interesting as well
Exactly. Though I'm sure Penny is going to get scooped up by Cinder in this attack, though. Cinder's shown deliberate interest in her, and it'd make for easy "I-Know-You're-In-There Somewhere-Fight" fodder next season.
Took me a sec to see that Merc wasn't breaking the wall with his hard on
I personally enjoy the Blake-You-Don't-Have-To-Fuck-Me-I'm-Not-Racist one
>Their military is going to be completely destroyed by the end of the season, though.
Doesn't change the fact that Ozpin military occupied the city.
>Wasn't he already showboating robot stormtroopers and death mechs last season?
Now people will question "Why do they need more death mechs and Stormtroopers?"
>According to the narrative of a single smug voice over the intercom
People are very likely to believe a confident voice over the intercom.
She didn't take credit. She criticized the headmasters for having more power than the military. Except Ironwood, who got extra credit for controlling both.
>drowned out by demons, terrorist attacks, and screaming civilians.
And also broadcast very clearly around the world
Maybe Liza stress-eats?
>tfw that's a part of muh fetish
>Ozpin military occupied the city
Everybody knew it was Ironwood in charge of the military. Only a crazy conspiracy theorist would think Beacon was undergoing an occupation during or after this terrorist attack.
>Now people will question "Why do they need more death mechs and Stormtroopers?"
Not when they've all been stolen by Cinder.
>People are very likely to believe a confident voice over the intercom.
>She didn't take credit
By outright saying she was from Mistral right before a giant bird started pecking at the dome, it pretty much implies she's claiming responsibility.
Mornin'. I had a RWBY-related dream.
Skipping most of it, I saw Ozpin fight Mercury. As you would expect, he wielded his cane. But the real clincher is his semblance: Spatial Manipulation? I remembered him empowering a student with a spherical shield...which didn't lased long because Mercury is based.
Anyways I remember that the fight ended with Ozpin limping on his cane, the student in critical condition and Mercury driven away. A "butterfly" lands on one of the broken windows and flattens to reveal itself as a paper cut-out of a gingerbread man (again, another demonstration of his semblance.)
That's good to hear.
I just got done with the episode 3 of the 3rd season.
It was honestly sweet.
They had an arc where Kirito had to get into some COD MMO where a dude was shooting people with a pistol and causing them to die for realz.
And also sniper chick who wears very skimpy clothing.
>No, that was contextless fearmongering to attract the Grimm to the city. Nobody's actually going to take it seriously once the crisis has passed
I think it was actually a pretty effective speech, and may well have long-lasting influence on the citizens depending on how things play out.
Cinder does raise some very valid points. Why would Atlas want a weapon disguised as a girl? Who's that meant to deceive? And why are two high-profile Beacon students being so brutal? Those are the sorts of controversies that get people really riled up.
She also says some stuff along the lines of "these people can't protect you", which the breach proved and the huge attack is certainly proving right now. However things go, people are not going to feel as safe under Ozpin and Ironwood anymore, and Cinder is rightly capitalising on that.
If Cinder's conspiracy is exposed, then the speech will lose some of its power. But even then, a lot of it will still ring true.
>By outright saying she was from Mistral right before a giant bird started pecking at the dome, it pretty much implies she's claiming responsibility.
What does that have to do with anything?
1. Mistral is one of the kingdoms.
2. She straight said that Mistral was just as bad as the other ones.
>Only a crazy conspiracy theorist would think Beacon was undergoing an occupation
People are going to turn with eachother, this "era of peace" is going to fall apart and give way to distrust and other negative feelings. "This wouldn't have happened if Atlas didn't occupy our city!" "We should have sent more soldiers to make sure this didn't happen!" People are dumb and emotional. This is normal responses. Especially since she seeded the thought in their heads. People will believe anything they're told if it sounds like the person saying it makes sense.
Though maybe it should've been Torchwick for the hat.
>you're now inside a giant Neo's mouth
>you can feel her sticky tongue moving over every inch of your body
>your feet are already being sucked into her crushing esophagus
>you only have a few minutes left before you're swallowed
>Refuse to die
>Bitch about how the world is cruel
Call Your Name intensifies
>Lisa hasn't been able to report on anything since volume 1
>Fiance left her day after we first see her in volume 1
>Her dog and mother died
>Has just been eating to cope with the pain
Well mostly, a good portion of the info dumps came from half assed skimming of Wikipedia pages, the ranges for the engagements were fucking ridiculous, with a 1500 meter range being described as easy as shit, and ambushes at I think five hundred meters or more I think.
>I don't understand why it gets so much hate from /rwbyg/
Same reasons almost everything that's hated here is. A few people dislike it then everyone gets sucked into the circlejerk.
>I think it was actually a pretty effective speech
That only goes to prove you're an idiot.
>Why would Atlas want a weapon disguised as a girl?
Because Oum felt obligated to have a robot girl in the series. RT's passing off his writing fallacies as something deeper, and it's fucking cheating.
>She also says some stuff along the lines of "these people can't protect you", which the breach proved and the huge attack is certainly proving right now.
A complete lack of civilian casualties over the next 3 episodes would prove otherwise, though.
>And why are two high-profile Beacon students being so brutal?
Because they've been trained to fight on the battlefield. And since this can be passed off as coincidence due to how nothing like this happened in the other matches, only idiots would see it as a pattern.
>People will believe anything they're told if it sounds like the person saying it makes sense.
Won't stop me from complaining about it being a shitty plot turn on par with Marvel's fucking Civil War bullshit.
Same here. The quality of the voice acting isn't really that bad like with Adam, and it's not like she fucks up the intonation of things either.
I think most people's problem is that she has a perpetual keikaku/"we're going to have hot steamy sex" type of voice.
While that is silly, it doesn't bother me too much.
>Cinder does raise some very valid points. Why would Atlas want a weapon disguised as a girl?Who's that meant to deceive?
Penny is probably the scientist daughter who got in an accident and was transferred to a robot body the guy then made it ascetically look like his daughter
And why are two high-profile Beacon students being so brutal?
People are going to find that strange when they here about mercury walking about so soon after his injury as for pyrrha not quite sure it makes much sense considering how people know she's very nice.
>She also says some stuff along the lines of "these people can't protect you", which the breach proved and the huge attack is certainly proving right now. However things go, people are not going to feel as safe under Ozpin and Ironwood anymore, and Cinder is rightly capitalising on that.
this is true which should hopefully make the ozpins little group get their heads out of their asses and show just how powerful they are by taking to the field instead of sitting at teachers desk they'll be able to get some confidence from the people back and hopefully wake remnant up from its complacency.
>Don't understand really why she was so traumatized by guns however.
She killed a dude with the guns, for one. Also, the ostracization she got from it didn't help. Japan hates guns.
>whining like this.
We get it anon, but why even participate in the discussion if your only response is just "It's shiiiiiiiiiiiit!" and further whining? Just waifu post or whatever it is you normally do.
Also, I am interested in where Cinder is going with that speech. I got the impression that she was trying to build a little rapport with her listeners, like how she said she was Mistral which also had its own problems.
Was that just to make them trust her a little more in the short-term so her speech was more effective? Or is she hoping to win them over and become empress or some shit, either by force or "heroically" stopping the attack herself?
Be happy that I get to become part of Neo, wonder what part of her body I'd become.
wonder if I'll see yang in her stomach
>Also, the ostracization she got from it didn't help. Japan hates guns.
What ostracizing? We're told her mother is just crazy even without this happening, and the only people picking on her are three generic bullies saying they'll bring a model gun to school.
In America if you shoot a man trying to rob a store and kill people you're a hero.
In Japan, you're a slaughter monster with the heart of a hardened heart of a stone-cold killer with a taste for blood now.
>She killed a dude with the guns,
To protect her mum.
>In Japan, you're a slaughter monster with the heart of a hardened heart of a stone-cold killer with a taste for blood now.
That's rich coming from them. Considering their history and the shit they still get up to.
>In Japan, you're a slaughter monster with the heart of a hardened heart of a stone-cold killer with a taste for blood now.
Why? Seriously, why? She was a 5-year-old kid in a crazy situation. Why the hell would any culture shame a fucking 5-year-old girl into committing seppuku for accidentally shooting a robber?
>Penny is probably the scientist daughter who got in an accident and was transferred to a robot body the guy then made it ascetically look like his daughter
But then why the weapons and super strength? She was clearly designed from the beginning to be a military unit, and a powerful one at that. Her arsenal arsenal goes way beyond what would be needed to fight Grimm and borders into the frightening if you think about it. Why would an android Huntress have to be capable of restraining and vaporizing an armored airship? Just designing an artificial sentry is one thing. Making it look & act human, have an absurdly powerful yet easily hidden weapon system, and the ability to fight small armies single-handedly is beyond overkill.
Jack off in her mouth, let her swallow me and then
Grow. Expand. EXPLODE! Or hope Ms. Frizzle was taking a field trip
Japan's a country basically populated by emotionless douchebag robots that hate anything deemed strange by society. It's a fucking miracle they've stayed afloat as long as they have.
>But then why the weapons and super strength?
To make sure she doesn't get hurt again?
My idea though is that it was Ironwood's idea and the guy who made her had no intent to make her a super weapon.
>One line calling anon an idiot.
>One line dismissing backstory in favor of "Beacuse Monty wanted it"
>One line complaining about last seasons writing.
>An admittedly decent fourth line.
>Final line is explicitly saying you're complaining and a long "It's shiiiiiiiit."
And finally, I never called you butthurt anon. I simply said that if you don't want to discuss what's happening in the story, why not just waifupost like /rwbyg/ goers normally do when there isn't story to discuss?
>That only goes to prove you're an idiot.
This is an excellent way to start a conversation. Please wait a moment, I'm going to type out a well thought-out reply to your charming and insightful post.
>Penny is probably the scientist daughter who got in an accident and was transferred to a robot body the guy then made it ascetically look like his daughter
Possibly, but the citizens don't know any of that. The way Cinder spun it, Penny could be one of many powerful synthetics meant to trick people for the benefit of Atlas.
> People are going to find that strange when they here about mercury walking about so soon after his injury as for pyrrha not quite sure it makes much sense considering how people know she's very nice.
Right, them finding out about Merc would indeed take away a bit from the illusion Cinder is trying to build. I don't think Pyrrha is as straightforward, because people don't know her personally or anything. And people will assume all sorts of ridiculous things about celebrities.
Though Emerald's fuckery being revealed would expose that too, likely.
> which should hopefully make the ozpins little group get their heads out of their asses and show just how powerful they
Sadly, Ozpin's head shall be remaining in his ass a little longer, according to his VA. No fight scenes this volume for him.
Which I find odd. Is Cinder not going to make it to Amber, then? That should be her top priority.
You don't have a fucking argument. You're completely talking past the guy, you're not even having a conversation. He's talking about the effect Cinder's speech might have on the world, while you're talking about how shit the writing team is and how all of the things that happened in the last episode were because of shit like oum's waifuism.
That might all be true, but it has absolutely nothing to do with what the other guy was saying.
And really, your completely solid argument?
Your first sentence was name-calling, your third was something that can't be verified, and your fifth one is not even an argument at all.
If someone says that you're whining while you actually present a solid argument in an actual conversation, then you can tell them to fuck off and be somewhat credible.
You're just being an enormous fucktard though.
Gotta go with the students from the fascist military dictatorship.
Trip Dubs confirm
>Not having an Anime Reaction Image
Mistral! I like their colour scheme and armbands!
> not having the ice cream be chocolate, vanilla and strawberry
One fucking job.
Well, with Ironwood trying to tell Oz "he can explain", there's clearly an underlying idea here. Maybe not this season, but there will probably be a talk with Oz and Ironwood about this whole situation, because I feel like those two characters are building up to airing some dirty laundry.
Penny said she was meant to "save the world", I'm guessing it has to do with the operation of Cinder's faction and the Maidens, which Ironwood was in on. Ironwood wants regular people to be safe, and seems to have some objections with the nature of academy's sending relatively young people out to fight - maybe the idea with Penny is to build a combat automata which can be both an effective tool against Grimm while still remaining empathetic with people. A guardian figure who isn't intimidating or imposing, but who under normal circumstances is much more powerful and resilient than a Hunter might be.
Also, while the implication is that she has an aura transferred in her is clear, we've never actually stated that. We don't know for sure if she was built with the complete arua of a person or even if it was a person. Penny might have been filled with small adorable animals. She has a human form because in order to identify as a person, she must see herself as a person.
Any updates on Grimm Eclipse?
>that suck their own dicks before choking on their mom's severed legs.
You do understand which website you're currently browsing right?
>but not the sub-humans
That's so inefficient. Everyone has a use. Even the faunus. They can be completely random and trolling in a weaponizable way, and can see in the dark, thus making a decent nighttime workforce because you don't need to turn on the lights.
Here's a recap for those who missed.
No, it's a pretty stupid speech, because of the mode of delivery. If it was delivered seemingly off the cuff to a camera, it might have won her some allies (though I don't think it was very good even on its own merits.) However, hijacking a live broadcast implies a conspiracy working behind the scenes, and then it's not a very long leap of logic to say "gee, I wonder if the people behind this hijack might have something to do with all these bad things she's talking about."
Eh. I'm going to ignore it until it's done, myself. Unless they add extra characters..
The early access is great as a proof-of-concept, but it'd just feel odd to me to keep going back to an incrementally more complete game until it's finished.
> maybe the idea with Penny is to build a combat automata which can be both an effective tool against Grimm while still remaining empathetic with people. A guardian figure who isn't intimidating or imposing, but who under normal circumstances is much more powerful and resilient than a Hunter might be.
Huh, that's a good point. It might be that she was intended for something like that, and could have actually been a major PR boost for Atlas if she was revealed to the public.
Cinder has turned that on its head for the moment, though.
Look how cute she is tho, whats not to love.
Reminder that Arslan and Pyrrha are conspiring to rape Jaune
Think of your waifu...
Got it? the first situation that you can think of has occurred between you and our waifu.
How does it go?
Their both are half of what they use to be.
When will there be Penny meeting Zeppeli fanart
She's not necessarily trying to persuade them over to her side, though. The goal might've just been to scare them to attract more Grimm.
I agree, just on its own hijacking the cameras is suspicious. However, how trustworthy she comes across as is sort of irrelevant. Most of what she says stands on its own merit: Atlas has hidden super-soldiers, Ozpin's students are being brutal disgraces and neither power can really keep people safe. If her goal is just to scare the fuck out of people, then the speech was a great way to do that.
I just got it now.
Thankful it's not Penny as Marco
Neo's like a stray cat.
He did her a simple kindness while she was on the street and while she acts like she doesn't give a fuck about him, he's basically the only important person in her life.
>Hold her close so she can never get hurt again
>Maybe watch some tv....
Ryan deserves it though
Ah you love Pyrrha that's cool its pretty awful that she killed Penny but i admire that you still love your waifu.
So, if Pyrrha is too beta to actually move any plan forward, and in fact would be a detriment to any plan, what is Arslan in this? Is she a beta as well, or perhaps alpha? How long will she have to deal with Pyrrha's bullshit before she just gives up and decides to go Jaune herself?
Neo was an orphan stealing what she could to survive. One night when Roman was still starting out, a job went south and he had to bail. He ducks into a side alley and runs into 8 year -old Neo. He tries to tell her off for getting in his way when the cops catch up. They stare straight at Roman and he thinks he's done... but then the cops keep walking. He looks back at the little girl: terrified, covered in rags, a meager meal stolen from a cart in hand, and her eyes alight from her Semblance. He realizes how useful this girl is, takes her in, and raises her as his own twisted daughter.
She's his older sister and they're both from a the crime version of the Arc family, a long line of stylish rogues going back to the pre-Dust years; she is a much better planner than him, but refuses to put the effort in and so let's him do all the brainwork, only swooping in when he's in real trouble.
I like Emerald! She is amusing and has a good design!
Yeah i'm sure Pyrrha will step back from this i wonder if she will still become a Maiden or will it go too someone else now that she's kinda lost her mind well have to wait and see.
Jaune becomes fall maiden?
Don't have a waifu but I Amber came to mind and then I thought of taking care of a baby
That's kind of silly. Grimm don't care which negative emotion people show, negative emotions period is all it takes. Show a snuff film or a pedophile raping an 8-year old and you'd get much more negative emotions flowing than a limp speech.
Atlas is not the only one with super-soldiers, they're called hunters, and every nation has them. In fact, Pyrrha just got done showing that robots like Penny are not in any way invincible. Further, nothing she did in that fight qualifies her as a brutal disgrace, because unlike what the public knows of Yang, she never actually did anything wrong, just countered an attack in a perfectly legal manner. And finally, by unveiling her conspiracy, she's given both powers a perfect scapegoat to increase defense spending.
Not everything out of RT is bad.
Pic related is reason number fucking 1
Well I meant to say your waifu but this is fine also...
Is Amber in her head at the point? Because that would be hilarious: Amber telling Pyrrha to woman up, while she just tries to come up with excuses and compromises to Amber's extreme methods of seducing Jaune.
Meanwhile, Arslan can only stare on, unsettled, as Pyrrha appears to be losing half a conversation with herself.
Anything for the D'Arc, she tells herself.
>Me and Blake in bed
>She's reading a book while i'm watching TV
It's boring but strangely relaxing thought
Or, going by Alice Academy
>Latent - Classic abilities (flight, strength, illusions)
>Technical - Scientific/Technological
>Somatic - Body-based (animal features, pheromones, shapechanging)
>Special - Unsorted (nullification)
>Dangerous - Self-explanatory
I had a dream last night that Neo took over my body through me dreaming of her and she went around killing people
Satan you are right
But Ryan is still tip top of RT
New and refurbished Basement adventure part 1 now up on Ao3. For anyone that feels like having a read http://archiveofourown.org/works/5747953/chapters/13244422 This took way longer time than it should have
She is the Fertility Goddess.
>People still shit on Cinder's voice
I just don't hear the problem with it
>You wake up as Jaune before the the first day at Beacon. What do you do differently?
I've also never really had a problem with it. I think she sounds creepy and evil, which works.
By getting it right the first time
and brining the baby into it
The thing is it's gotten to the size where it's too big to post has a png. So if I want to keep adding to it I'll either have to post as a jpg or i can shrink the image a bit.
I was thinking I'd shrink what we have a bit so i can expand the borders so we have room to add more people, like make it wider.
For starters, not be brain-dead to the Greek goddess hot for my Aryan dick
I take Crocea Mors and end Pyrrha right there. Then I try to get Ruby and her team if possible.
Without a suitable host for Amber's power and those other meddling protagonists, Cinder's plan will be slightly easier.
There is a simple reason as to why one should shit on Cinder's voice.
And it's that even for an amateur VA, she's bad at it. and RT decided on having a first time VA star on a show that somewhat relies on voice acting quality being good. But not only that, It's almost like she doesn't know what character she's playing.
This is a stupid question because everyone here is going to say bang Pyrrha or one of the other girls while ignoring all the reasons why they like or tolerate Jaune.
Something more telling would be what they, themselves would do if they were deaged and put there.
I can play the clueless game. Regrettably, I'm not all that different from Jaune when it comes to being around people I'm not overly familiar with. Though I like to think I'm not denser than a neutron star when it comes to picking up social cues like 'This girl is interested in you!'.
What do you think is most likely? That Cinder is working under someone else, and getting the maiden's power is just another part of the major plan, she's just looking to rule with power at her command or she has some sort of sad past which will be explored later?
Well, a while ago I think we established pretty well that if we were all placed there en masse, Beacon would be embroiled in some very bloody and literal waifu wars, while everybody else would go try and meta the plot only probably get eaten or lost because they didn't do any of the offscreen learning or training the characters can be assumed to do.
Me personally, I'd probably just try to get along with my team, be in the main characters' social circle and maybe subtly try and get them to get a clue a little quicker. I wouldn't want to actually directly out Cinder, because I'm pretty sure that would end with me on her shitlist pretty fast, and a quick appointment with an arrow in my spine or a bootgun to the head in a dark alley somewhere.
>nah not really m8 they would just say some usual shit about waifus
I wouldn't approach any of the main girls honestly.
They're all hilariously out of my league and even fit I'm no where near as handsome as Jaune.
Tier X: Fucking with the Laws of Physics
Because even the most powerful, most educated user of any of the following, lower-tier semblances can only act inside the rules of Remnants physics (maybe Glyphs? Time Dilation is a string indicator towards it)
Tier 0: Total Generation
Generating (and controlling!) materials (or energy) of any kind. Only hypothetical up until now. Nearly omnipotent if used and trained properly.
Tier 1: Control
Controlling materials (not people). Extremely high potential, especially in combination with scientifical knowledge (i.e. controlling atoms)
Tier 2: Human Recources
Basically anything to do with other people, mostly psychological or manipulatory - illusions and mind control (if existent) fall under this category
Tier 3: Supernatural Abilities
Invisibility, Flight, spidy-sense, anything that's beyong "normal human" abilities
Tier 4: Self-Empowering
Basically anything that hightens your potential regarding one or many of your already existing abilities - super-speed, super-strength, super-sexiness (that's the Jaune-in-a-Dress Semblance)
Tier 5: Non-Combat Semblance
Like being an incredible cook! Or a super duper accurate painter of landscapes! (only hypothetical)
Tier 6: Plain, old garbage
Useless semblances (only hypothetical)
Tier 7: Harmful semblences
Semblences that actually ONLY harm the user.
Qrow's Cockblocking-Taiyang-Summoning is here
That'd be a story in itself.
>sudden appearances of people with what can be called shared meta awareness of events and knowledge of specific people
>cue cosmic horror investigation by some detective
All of the above
>Orphaned by the Color War
>Adopted by the real Big Bad
>Trained to fight & take on the maidens
>Plan was to take the power and seize control of the world
>Found out her boss was a Color Nazi
>Now she wants to rule the world and bring her imperial peace
>End fight will be her committing suicide when she realizes she's become what she hates.
Voice acting is still acting, so yes, you have to play the role correctly.
Cinder's entire voice so far has been 2ominous4u.
It fit this episode because she's giving the good ol' keikaku speech, but otherwise it's like JNig doesn't even know what role to play.
A combination of 'working for someone else' and 'tragic backstory'. Tragic enough to explain her motives and give a frame of reference, but not enough to excuse or redeem her. Emerald or Mercury, maybe, but not Cinder. As for the working under someone bit, she keeps getting referred to as 'Queen'. If she's only the 'Queen', then who's the 'King'? She may be strong, but I doubt she knew about the Maidens or had that power parasite herself.
I would do this as well honestly.
Without familial obligations making me get a good job I would work like hell to become a hunter, but realistically none of the girls on RWBY or JNPR would even bother to look at me.
A grand adventure is still appealing as hell though. I'd eithier go full weeb or dress in something that evokes the Chesire Cat in honor of my waifu.
0. Get a parachute, a compass, a map of the emerald forest and an inflatable bouncy castle.
1. Gain the amazing ability to not vomit on a plane
2. Do not ignore Pyrrha
3. Use said parachute to land close to Pyrrha
4. Making sure noone's around, inform Pyrrha of my situation.
5. Use map and compass to figure out where the relics are.
6. Wait at the relics until the rest arrives to make it back together, inflating the castle at approximately the location where Weiss would fall down.
7. Watch Weiss bounce hilariously on the castle.
8. We should have 8 people against just the nevermore now, this shouldn't be that hard.
9. After everything is over, go to Ozpin and inform him that you know who the bad guys are and what they're planning. If he doubts me, ask him to explain how I could place the inflatable castle exactly where Weiss was going to fall.
Somewhere along the line, get Ruby to help me build a better sword (that's also a gun), ask Pyrrha to train me and read up on relevant materials.
Oh, and get better boots. Who the fuck fights Grimm in sneakers.
This is pretty goo-
>Cardin this high
its shit. How did you let him get this high?
So would Pyrrha qualify as a Tier 1 or a Tier X? Magnetism is one of the four fundamental governing forces of the universe, and if Magneto's shown us anything, it's that a solid knowledge of how this functions can absolutely wreck someone's shit.
>Worm's PRT rating
This is a great way to do it.
This >>79078650 would be stuffing plenty of very different ones into the same structure. Speed and strength would both go into Utility/Offensive, but a hunter team would deal with them very differently.
This >>79079379 only gives them danger ratings, not any information as to how to deal with the danger.
Reminder that the world of Remnant is in an even worse situation than Worm.
Parahumans are not simply a chance, they already exist in every fucking individual.
All the semblances we have been shown so far have been combat-oriented.
Grimm attack far more frequently than the Endbringers, and there are more than likely some truly terrifying beasts lurking far past the borders.
All we need is a Slaughterhouse Nine.
>Smiles a lot
Unless maiden magic can shut down semblances Pyrrha should be able to solo everyone
What about china building up all those island bases that are infringing the territory of our allies?
What about the rapid military growth that includes the purchase of a aircraft carrier?
Got to be strong
Strong for her
Alice, from American McGee's Alice.
I got the game when it first came out fourteen long years ago. Loved her ever since and still got the game even though it's fucking unplayable on modern PCs.
I'm normalfag as fuck but since it's somewhere where everyone dresses like an autist, might as well go full autist as well.
I'd say Tier 1, because she can still only operate in the reaches of Magnetism.
It would be Tier X if she could be like: "Hey, fuck Electrons." and just remove the charge of an Electron, making it a neutral particle and this obliterating molecules and stuff.
But then again, we have no ultimate description on how Pyrrhas semblence work.
Because I'm pretty sure somewhere in the series it's said that she can only use her Polarity on metal she has already touched, but clearly, as of Episode 9, she doesn't need that.
>Magnetism is one of the four fundamental governing forces of the universe
Sorry to go off on a tangent, but while magnetism (and to a lesser extent, gravity) have been done, I've always wanted to see a person with powers over strong force or weak force.
Yeah, the writers would probably get it wrong, but still...
>I've always wanted to see a person with powers over strong force or weak force
Explain that to me real quick. Does that mean they have the power to split and bond atoms, or what?
Knowing writers, it's "directed radiation" that looks like glowing green lasers.
Do you enjoy seeing her without pants, you pervert?
Time to post my first cap hope I did it right
is that odd black line suppose to be a string for her panties? looks odd.
Just another scale, in the end they're still meatbags. You've listed four of them. People can still be romanced by people out of their league, if what I've seen on the internet about lonely beautiful people is true, so there is that.
>Cute black girl in a stylish suit
>With a love for music and Schnee bashing
I can dig that
i've been capping for a decent while. first off, do the cap in tomorrow style. i was told that it was 'easier on the eyes' so i just always did. if you use chrome, get 4chan cap helper from greasy fork, and check the boxes that you cap, so you can get the posts in order without anything interrupting it. put the browser into windowed mode, and put it up to the side, so that it takes up half the screen. that makes the posts take up less space, and shorter. make the white space the background color of the tomorrow theme, and put the posts closer together. here's one i've done that comes up pretty often. and if you have a pic that is somewhat relevant, use it too
Anon, I think I tried to understand this one a while ago and I have no idea what to do with it. Explain Weak and Strong nuclear force and I'll take another crack at it.
It's not going to be a furry suit. Just something colorful and evocative. And loose. Slacks are nice but wear them every day with your shirt tucked in and you learn to dislike it.
half the time, i don't read the things i cap. this one is way too fucking long to read, imo, but someone might want to read it. some of the things i don't even like. i just do it cause someone has to
