>Still liking Cancerpool
This an actualy variant btw.
Because, in this day age of "comic book fans" watch movies or read only one run of a hero and automatically assume that that currently popular hero is the best and cannot be beat. hence your deadpool popularity and batman popularity.
What's so bad about this? Yeah it's a stupid meme, but I thought /co/ liked it when creators pay attention to them and post here?
I mean, we've seen actual shout-outs to the board in different comics, from Archie Sonic to background shit in Howard Porter art.
Chill the fuck out, guys.
Deadpool is a film genetically engineerd to appeal to imdbspawn /v/edditors with no sense of sophisication who laud meme dialog, which supports upvote groupthink mentality, and meme acting with a good movie pandering reddit tier meta capeshit "entertainment" sensibilities and a meme tv movie aesthetic. This is a flick at best and will rightfully ruin ryan reynolds career.
>Nah, son. We're getting triggered by variants so we're officially tumblr.
This. I don't even know where this reddit shit is coming from. /co/ has zero things to do with reddit. /co/'s imaginary board war is, was and has been with tumblr.
I blame /tv/ and their memes infesting this board.
Difference between MArvel and DC kids.
Kids go to MArvel wanting wacky adventures with memes and pop culure references. Kids go to DC for gritty edgey stories their parents don't want them reading.
Both groups of kids are shit.
>being triggered does not depend on whether or not you protest something
Nigger why do you "trigger warnings" exist in the first place
I'm saying no one is demanding they pull the Deadpool meme variants.
It's not the tumblr's reaction to the Manara Spider-woman cover or the CamStew Batgirl cover with the Joker having Barb tied up, or that one PPG cover with the girls in a realistic pin-up style, that all got taken down people got offended.
>On the covers Deadpool is having fun and making jokes
>Meanwhile in his own series
No you faggot. Those days are gone since tumblr has become a parody so no one cares. Now reddit is the new tumblr. Because of that, there's an influx of redditors coming to this site because they hate how much of a shithole reddit has become. These newfags don't lurk, so when they get triggered it's easy to spot. You can always draw them out by having nigger, faggot, or jew in your post. The reason why /co/ feels like it's gone to shit is because it's the easiest board to trigger since the faggots from reddit are only interested in the win-o threads and weekly storytimes. Reddit even has a board dedicated to 4chan.
>Nigger why do you "trigger warnings" exist in the first place
To keep sensitive eyes and ears away from shit they aren't prepared to see or hear.
You don't get mad at wet floor signs. You don't get mad at "viewer discretion is advised".
You don't get mad at spoiler warnings.
What makes you so angry about trigger warnings really?
>I'm saying no one is demanding they pull the Deadpool meme variants.
the process of getting triggered doesn't usually involve an active response.
It just means you get offended by some random bullshit nobody cares about and ineffectually post on your favourite internet board about how offended you are.
It's what makes the whole triggering thing a joke in the first place. The juxtaposition of pathetic internet people getting pissed over random shit and actual war or accident survivors with PTSD who can literally snap when reminded of the actual real world shit they've been through.
It's not just a phrase, it's a style of shitposting that only possible on image boards with post numbers.
>What makes you so angry about trigger warnings really?
Well for one it's disrespectful to people with actual anxiety disorders when you use it seriously for any little thing (like "trigger warning: ageism and incorrect pronouns")
>the process of getting triggered doesn't usually involve an active response.
Yes it does, both actual PTSD and internet triggering.
>It just means you get offended by some random bullshit nobody cares about and ineffectually post on your favourite internet board about how offended you are.
No one here is offended over the Memepool covers.
When you see "this sucks" or "this is cringey" do you think "h-he's triggered" in your stupid mind
>Not liking Posehnpool
Good mix of suffering and lolrandom.
This image makes absolutely zero sense unless you're on an image board where you can get post IDs that end in repeating digits. Anyone who even understands this, let alone find it humorous, is fairly select when you consider the Internet as a whole.
Everyone else will just kind of look at this and be confused.
Once it's explained to them, THAT'S when it turns into cancer. That's basically how >tfw spiraled out of control.
Deadpool is my litmus test for Marvel.
Is deadpool shallow but enjoyable? Generally ok Marvel writing in their main story
Is deadpool filled with ugly art and just fucking brainnumbing? Marvel's in their "serious" phase and likely killed or raped a character recently.
At least that's how it was couple of years ago.
you only have yourself to blame, queer
I can see the artists "T-t-this is a thing on the internet right? I saw it in reddit!"
> into the phase where "XDDD random is better than serious chars!!!1!"
Damn that is a perfect made up example of a retarded teenager's typing and thinking. I like the way you think Anon.
The issue I have with these meme covers is that they aren't particularly funny on their own. Nor do they look good. The memes largely work only within the context of the original parameters where the meme was created and used. When you're referencing a specific meme like this, where it's just an isolated image, it's not funny because there's no joke. It's Family Guy style reference humor and even that's not cute unless you're an idiot who is excited by the notion that your silly inside internet joke now has mainstream attention.
God, the amount of triggered newfags on this board is going to skyrocket. Redditors, tumblrites, twitterfags, and normalfags in general won't understand what the cover is about, and some faggot is gonna send them here to ask.
Wow, so it's true. /co/ actually DOESN'T read comics.
He said Phoenix will bring mutants back, then Avengers wanted to take host Cyclops was training for years, split Phoenix among five X-men and basically created filler until Phoenix actually brought mutants back after connecting with host trained by Cyclops Avengers prevented from connecting with. The trade off for mutants is that Phoenix didn't go on planet destroying spree.
>"viewer discretion is advised".
Yes, those are the only "trigger warnings" you need and it's more for the sake of letting parents know so their children won't see anything. Actual "trigger warnings" are for adult children.
