The game pretty much begins to play itself with auto-play and auto-repeat unlocking once you beat a stage with 3 stars (all 3 characters surviving), so your time can very minimal if you want it to be.
But there are some modes that will require your attention, such as Villain Siege and Alliance Battle. Battleworld and Timeline can be auto-played if you choose to.
Each day you'll want to do the daily achievements to net yourself 25 crystals which is the game's premium currency, used to buy uniforms or special deals/packages/sales. If you're going to spend dollaroos then pick up STARK'S STASH which is a 30 day subscription which gives you an initial 200 crystals and an extra 75 daily (but you MUST log in to claim it, they don't stack)
If you have any more questions, feel free and shoot. It's a pretty fun mobile game with a lot of Marvel characters. Waaaay better than MAA2 and CoC

Lash is an inhuman villain; when the recent Terrigen bomb went global and started awakening inhumans across Earth, he took it upon himself to determine who was WORTHY of being an inhuman (the unworthy deserving death, natch).

MapleJay here after almost 4 fullish days with Bleach: Brave Souls
The short of it... It's shit

The story has you following the mang as plot line up until the ghost Mexico arc which is nice and all. The story elements are great, the stages are fantastic and the ability to swipe to dodge is the best shit ever.

However... Multiplayer vs is laughable. You just plop your team in against someone else's and they fight each other as npcs.


And speaking of characters, let's move onto the worst thing about the whole game. The character system.

They do some really cool shit with it by allowing you to use resources on a skill tree to improve stats, attach gear and equipment (only accessible via the premium currency), and link duplicate characters is great. Unlocking characters is a total crapshoot.

Basically you need to collect 250 orbs to use in the 10x machine for a slightly higher chance of rolling characters 4* and above. You will get a 5* Renji for free for beating 1000 enemies, but it is not enough.

If you are not rolling with 5* characters (accessed only via that RNG machine Puzzle and Dragons style, but without any godfests) you are beyond screwed. You can constantly redox load and restart the game to roll for your first free character until you get a 5*, but I tried this for two days offhandedly on my phone since I foolishly linked my iPad to the Game Center. The download takes a very VERY long time. This was before I know a 5* was that critical, and was only recommended/ mentioned it was possible. Since I got Rukia I assumed it was a set pick so I went with it. As of now I have spent 500 orbs on the machine and have gotten 3 4* characters total.

The game being that dependent on needing 5*s to advance in conjunction with no way to secure any via any means other than an RNG unlock system does not bode well; not to mention the large amount of "premium" resources needed to roll the RNG and their low collection rate. I've spent a bunch of time in the game thus far and as of now it feels completely wasted.

I like Bleach quite a lot and was hoping for a nice new game for it since the only good one it ever had was Bleach: Dark Souls for the DS, and for a while this was pretty fun, but I've finally found that paywall I was starting to sense around the hard mode I unlocked for act 1 and thanks to the atrocious character unlock system and resource acquisition system in place to gather currency in order to use it I have now found it, it's not here yet, but it's looming just over the horizon.

The game lacks a godfests type event (even the Japanese version which ran a lot longer hasn't had anything like that yet) of P&D, or a way to earn premium currency daily or even weekly like Marverl: Future Fight or its ability to buy characters directly even if via random sales. If you want to spend literal days attempting to reroll for one of the 5* characters (God willing you get one of the decent ones since there are bad ones) go ahead, but in general I have to say avoid at all costs.

Glad you liked the write up. Cleaned it up a bit and posted it to the app store too. as for why I tried it, well as I said before I really like Bleach and was excited to see a new game. I would think they'd both be their own characters, but with skills that call in the other. Like Dagger would be a blaster that fights by throwing her light knives, but have a couple skills that have Cloak pop in to teleport her behind the enemy. Then Cloak as a universal type that fights by teleporting around, sucking up and spitting out enemies, shooting stuff out of himself, then have a couple skills where Dagger pops out and throws her light daggers.
