Let's discuss this game.
So how far in are you guys? Have you unlocked The One True Morty yet?
That's about it, you just beat Ricks and level up Mortys. Right now I'm just trying to get my dream party and then I'll just leave the game until an update comes along or something.
Apparently you take two Mortys of the same kind to the daycare, and you'll get the evolved form.
I feel like I'm making no progress in the game, because all my resources go into health potions and shit, and it all gets used immediately.
Don't worry about making potions. Save your recovery items for fights against other Ricks and the Rick council. You lose nothing from blacking out in another dimension.
Focus on buying morty chips to get Mortys and combining them. Combine two Mortys makes a Morty that has better stats and the easiest way to get a high level Morty quickly.
I'm two recipes away from completely finishing the list.
The one that requires you two have all 3 seeds so you can make up a level up seed and the final one, #30. I already have one required piece.
Turbulent gel is so fucking hard to come by, but wires, batteries and fleebs are in abundance. Wish you could hold of more than just x10 of an item.
>mfw was wondering for the longest time why my mortys wouldn't evolve when enemies had the evos at lower levels
I know this is bait but cmon son do you know how many /b/ and /gif/ thread there are about rolling around in shit and piss at this very moment? Or the 10+ rape threads /a/ has had this week? If that's christian than sign me the fuck up.
I like it so far, but I gotta say that I'm kinda disappointed that it isn't very funny.
All the NPCs either speak alien gibberish or don't say anything interesting at all. I've up to 8 badges and I've only laughed like twice the entire game and that was reading through the Morty Deck descriptions.
I don't even know if it can evolve because I can't catch another one.
What the hell are the crafting items for?
Also it seems the best Mortys are found in the Coupons unless you farm Mortys and evolve them in the Day Care.
Also having trouble raising the level of Mortys when they start low and in a dimension full of high-level Mortys.
I think one thing this game needs desperately is a move tutor or something of the like. Since the zones are so long you really need a team of mortys with 3 or 4 damaging moves each, or else you have to dump money on plutonic rocks constantly. I have 2 rank 2 mortys in my party that I can combine with additional ones, but the combined ones replace the damaging moves on my party members with shitty stat buffs/debuffs, making them virtually useless in the party.
NPC's will ask you for specific items that you have to craft and will give you pretty useful stuff for them. I think the coupon mortys are guaranteed to be at least a first level combo.
I agree that would be sick, but the items aren't needed really. Just don't fight the extra battles, there's no point. Wild Mortys give similar dosh and items, and exp is a joke for everything but regular Morty.
Do what you gotta to clear a stage, catch what you want, pick up items you want, make better Mortys, repeat.
Fork Morty is GOAT, but I can't find a picture, so here's my second favorite.
do any of those invention things have a purpose anyway? i just made a time stabalizing collar assuming it would be like a held item for a morty, but so far it seems completely useless
Psychokinetic Morty mostly because through evolution and a coupon he managed to become level 25 while I'm still fighting level 16 Morty's. He's literally my God Morty for the time being.
Yeah. Seriously man, step yo soundtrack game up.
>get phantom morty with first council fight ticket.
been wrecking everyone since
>Fucking really? First fucking episode and he shoves fedora shit in my face? Literally Reddit: the show. Fuck Reddit and Memey.
>I can't believe this fictional universe is set up in a specific way
He didn't say religion is dumb and her beliefs were infantile, he just told her the truth (for the rick and morty universe)
He didn't even say that higher powered beings do not exist and govern the laws of the universe, because those beings definitely could exist
>Test X-1 Morty
>This Morty was the first result in a series of experiments preformed by a guilt-ridden Rick who spent his dying days trying to bring back his lost grandson.
>replying seriously to bait
Even in the unlikely chance they are being serious, the idea that you'd stop watching a show because one of the characters doesn't agree 100% with your personal beliefs is so infantile that it doesn't deserve the time of day.
It's actually a lot better than I was expecting. I went into it expecting a shit Pokemon clone and found a Dragon Warrior: Monsters game with crafting instead, which is perfect.
I'm on the fourth Council Rick now I think, and he fucking floored me. That Hammerhead Morty could twoshot my entire party.
Time to grind, I guess.
>taking that to be an invitation to shove your "patrician taste" in fucking video game scores down his throat
You must be real fun to hang out with anon. This soundtrack is pretty good coming from a free watered down Pokemon game.
Why do people care about one morty over another?
Sure I pump my default morty and OTM, but the rest of my team is stuff that I combined and was 10-20 levels higher than whatever I was currently running into.
And when my Multi Morty was starting to show his age, seriously those stats aren't actually impressive he's just overleveled and has a ton of hp, I just catch more Triple Mortys and combine them into a new Multi Morty with a better level advantage and a functional moveset. That plays more like
Shin Megami Tenseithan a Pokemon parody.
Movesets don't even matter anyway. When it's a one on one fight, you are often just trading hits and spending too long buffing is a waste. Buffs and debuffs are so much better in a party battle than a singles battle.
>Microtransactions matter in a singleplayer game
Get good. And the only mortys that matter are the ones at the beginning or middle of combination chains, or maybe cronenberg morty for novelty.
>Why do people care about one morty over another?
Same reason people care about their Pokemon - they grow attached or find a favorite.
>Movesets don't even matter anyway
Yes and no from what I'm seeing in the game. As long as a you have a good non-typed attack move you're golden, but type advantage is still important. My Mortys are getting into the 20s range and I'm starting to see buffs and debuffs have more of an impact. They're just not worth using more than once though, or even having more than one of.
Does combining Mortys give you a new one or just a more beefed up one btw? I haven't tried it yet and I'm considering it since my stats feel really weak.
>Does combining Mortys give you a new one or just a more beefed up one btw?
It gives you the evolved version.
Two Rabbit Mortys would make an Evil Rabbit Morty.
I tried combining two Shadow Mortys, but it said it can't be combined, so I'm assuming Mortys that can't evolved can't be combined.
I know, but there is no incentive to keep an evolved morty beyond a certain point. I did replace my Multi Morty with another Multi Morty though.
>I'm starting to see buffs and debuffs have more of an impact. They're just not worth using more than once though, or even having more than one of.
I agree, more or less. You know when you want to try and sweep, and when it's not worth it entirely.
I'm really fucking tired of Pokemon style singles turn based combat. I wish the games actually committed to doubles and triples.
I got seriously sick of swapping him out to level him so I started using meeseeks boxes on council fights, then I ran out of those :( And you cant make more meeseeks boxes so your just stuck with the lil fucker. You can use seeds but those are hard to make and come by. I hate that fucking egg.
Put it aside and come back to it when you have more meeseeks/seeds/council fights. It's less of a headache if you come back to it when you have more badges, can get more money from fights, have higher level foes, and can buy seeds.
Egg Morty is Lvl 15 now, so soon
Rest of my party:
Original Morty - Lvl 20
Reverse Mermaid Morty Lvl 34
Crazy Cat Morty - Lvl 37
Rainbow Shirt Morty - Lvl 47
I really wanted to keep Psychokinetic Morty, but he was only Lvl 26 and Crazy Cat Morty is just so much better right now
Rick & Morty
Rick or Morty
>play the game on an android emulator
>click on ourtbust
>it doesn't do anything
I-It's not like I wanted to play anyway...
you know you want to
com on anon
it's just $5 jew dollars
hoowee hoo weee
>Get a free Blitz Coupon
>One of the items that I got is another Blitz and Chitz Coupon and fucking Ryu Morty
>still hoping for that Cronenburg
No, jesus christ. That would just be a pile of shit.
This new wave of microtransactions are only tolerable because there is no pvp dick measuring.
And it's not even a complicated or polished game in the first place. There is no strategic depth to be competitive over.
Wanting it to be any more than a functional, branded, parody that isn't any more exploitative than just being somewhat tedious, is absurd.
>I want a shitty exploitative f2p like everything else on the market.
Be happy that we got this, or be disappointed that we don't have a real R&M release.
Besides, once you beat the main story the game dies, much like pokemon if you don't have the savvy or interest in completing the dex. Fallout Shelter has a longer lifespan.
I can of figured the buff and debuffs in this game sucks because doing so meant your enemy takes a free shot. The only reason I'm doing buff/debuffs is if all my attacks ran out of AP and I'm just deliberately killing off my Mortys to get back to the Healing Center.
Well, maybe there can be a place in the hub world where you can battle online, and you can give your rick it's own codename to tell other players apart, and they can just say that there Rick's from other dimensions
I experimented with good buffs to see if trying to set up a sweeper is worth the serums that you'd end up using.
Eh, couldn't tell. If you have a Morty that you want to level up, maybe it's worth the serums to get that exp. Or you can just use seeds, but that's stupid unless it's one of the unique or extremely rare Mortys.
Otherwise, yeah. Just use them once and don't waste time.
>muh god is real
stop being such a pussy
>4chan has always been a Christian site
As shallow as it is, it's certainly above average and barely pay to win compared to the usual mobile schlock. Even without the updates we are supposed to get (which could easily be empty promises), I've gotten plenty of enjoyment for free.
So does it matter what level you combine morty's at. For example do two lvl 10 morty's yield a better result than two lvl 2s? Also can I combine a 1st evo with a 2nd evo to get the final form or do I really need 4 of them to get to the final evo?
Sometimes, doing quests and beating council members gets you tickets. If you get lucky, >>79052750 can actually happen, where you get another ticket as a reward for redeeming one, which is equivalent to the game giving you a free Morty.
If you don't get one, you can keep reloading the game from Cloud until you do, or until they patch it.
Game got boring with fusion. When you fuse mortys you get mortys way too strong for where you're currently at usually so the game just becomes a faceroll of high level mortys. General game play is also repetitive but for a free game with no ads it's worth playing for a while.
Most of the stuff is only real awesome if you're a fan of the show as well.
I just finished it, and I have 81/82 Mortys. The only one I'm missing is Mascot Morty. Also, I have no idea why people are bitching about >muh micro transactions, you don't need to pay anything to get through it.
You can get them randomly from chests.
I've only got two Ricks beaten, but I decided to grind and collect Mortys for the sake of it. The only thing I'm doing right now is getting all of my Mortys up to level 30 before fighting the rest of the Council. Besides leveling up Egg Morty.
Even if I have a stronger Multi Morty, I'm grinding just to get him on the highest level of my team (besides, the other Mortys I've got at daycare with higher level don't have better stats than this monster)
I'll finish my dream team and collect every single Morty (besides Mascot) before the final battle, I swear.
You can only combine 2 Mortys.
It's a quest item.
Level does matter. If you combine 2 level 2s, you might get a level 4 or something. 2 level 10s would give you a level 20. Those numbers aren't exactly how it would go, but you get the gist.
And no, you can't combine a 1st evo with a 2nd evo - you need to combine 2 2nd evos. Once you start getting into the higher levels you can encounter 2nd and 3rd evos in the wild, which makes life easier.
Tetsuo Morty is my favorite by far
Just check his fucking description
> download pocket morty
> open it
> "man this game is gonna be so funny"
> do you feel it start playiing
You can buy them for 500 shmeckles each after getting a few badges.
You can also make them using a few, relatively common materials. A small tip is to make sure you defeat every wild Morty that you don't catch in each dimension because unlike trainers who only give you shmeckles, defeating a single wild Morty rewards you with both shmeckles and a random crafting item, which allows you to get the materials for making manipulator chips much faster.
>Fuse 2 Skinless Mortys to get a Skeleton Morty
>Due to the janky evolution process, Skeleton Morty now has 1 neutral damage move and 3 stat-debuff moves when Skinless Mortys both had 1 neutral and 1 elemental damage move
>Have to daycare Skeleton Morty for the rest of eternity
He was my first 3rd level evolution too. I was so fucking bummed that the evolution process completely fucked my move pool and made him unusable.
what is the best moveset for a morty? do I try to have lots of ok high AP attacks or just one strong attack and a bunch of status effects? wish there was a move list of what each morty learned.
it's photoshopped, I can tell by the pixels. Will get a female morty soon Adult Swim had that poll on twitter about what people would like to see more of it PM and majority said more mortys
tssk, anyone with just a bit more than basic understanding of FLStudio could make a better flowing track than the shit that was in the R&M game in less than an hour. No jokes, look it up on youtube there is probably kids whipping up better music in real time right now while streaming it.
The point was made because the music actually was shit not "ok". It was shit. There is theory behind music you know, I'll just assume that you are a rabid R&M fan that would eat any shit they put out because that's what you're doing.
I want to
Probably never though, they would have done it sooner.
I bet something that AS doesn't want to pay Roiland or Roiland doesn't want AS to gain some kind of ownership over the parody.
Someone on /co/ should have better insight on how original work relates to a later derivative that is owned by the network.
Huh. That's something.
Prob been stated, but I'm rocking mostly level 15s, couple second evolution mortys, so this is the solid dick:
DO NOT buy health potions for anything other than maybe Council of Rick fights.
DO NOT be afraid to die, it's just a free heal and a teleport back to hubworld.
When you combine two of the same type of morty, the end result is a higher level. I combined two level 10 swimmer mortys, got a mermaid morty level 15. Same deal with two moustache mortys level 8 and 10, got a 15. It might be based on your highest current level. Crafting is mostly useless. I didn't start heavily combining mortys until about level 11, just because until then you fly through enemies. Keep a well rounded team as far as types go. There is not a ton to this game. You're fighting trainers for money to buy more morty pokeball shits. You want those to combine mortys to get ones that aren't dogshit. Each time you defeat a council member the number of badges you have to earn to fight the next is increased, it's a massive slog. DO NOT expect pay off. What fun there is, is in the simplistic gameplay.
Bunt is the most OP normal move, with it a morty can solo enemies that are their weakness. E.g. my Mermaid Morty's a rock type, but he can kill a paper type of level 11 or low in a hit with it. Status buffs are mostly useless, accuracy debuffs are useful if you PLAN on having that current morty take some hits while you spend some rounds debuffing, so your next morty gets hit less.
Seeds change your morty's stats permanently.
Anything else you want to know, I'll be in this thread a while longer but there's not a ton to get.
I hit the point where I'd progressed too fast, so the worlds had scaled too high to improve my lower level mortys. I've been farming til death on purpose for about an hour, just catching everything, fighting all trainers until I die, using no health potions. I'll grab a couple more badges and do the forth or fifth council member when I've got all lvl 15s.
Rabbit Smith family when?
especially Rabbit Summer.
I always lead off with my supercharged regular Morty because he'll never be at a disadvantage. He usually takes out the first two Morty's and then I can send in Mortys with a type advantage from there.
Is there any good playthroughs on youtube? Because there's usually about 90 wannabe PewDiePies who LP anything that come out, but I actually want to see the game without HURDUROVERREACTIONS.
Is there a full art pic of Super Fan Rick? Could've sworn I saw one...
Dude I lost my shit when my lil Phantom popped outta the Blips n Chitz machine.
Needs more female morties.
Considering how many alien designs are in the series, i find it very odd that the game didn't go a bit straighter and had an alien collecting gimmick. You can only do so many things with morty before it goes stale.
Alien collecting would have been nice, though it pretty much is just another layer of collecting things after the Mortys.
So I've unlocked the one true morty, but missing a bunch others. Like cronenberg Morty who i want real bad.
Anyone found anything to do with the Inter-dimensional Cable box or the alternate universe viewers yet? they don't seem to be for any quests.
Blobby motherfucker says he's bored with what's on TV. You'll know what to do when you see his dialogue.
Some of the other quest givers make sense, but the first time I read the dialogue, it was ambiguous what they wanted.
I mean, in the actual episode where Jerry and Beth questioned being together, they used the interdimensional goggles...
So that was the conclusion that I jumped to when Jerry asked for help getting Beth to love him again.
But, it's obviously the love potion. The guy who wants the goggles later is pretty clear about it.
Just downloaded the app, first time ever getting a phone game. Anyone got any beginner tips or advice before i skim the thread in between battles?
Get one of each type, give all seeds to your main, fuse every single chance you get, don't fight trainers, and remember your og morty and cronenberg morty have no type. This means no weaknesses from any type, but no one has a weakness to them either.
Don't get too attached to any Morty except your own. He'll become a beast eventually. Buffs are useless until high levels. Always combine low-stage Mortys into higher ones, as they become hugely powerful. Save Meseeks Boxes for Council fights and to help level Egg Morty. Save you Schmekles as much as possible until you can buy seeds, which give permanent buffs. Use the crafting system to make control chips when you can.
skim the thread.
Nothing really matters.
Blacking out has no penalty
You can only combine identical Mortys who can evolve
Mortys are replaceable, don't be afraid to combine newer, higher level versions of outclassed Mortys
Seeds are best saved for your Morty, or leveling up Egg Morty
Don't waste too much time on buffs and debuffs, you're still just trading hits. I think Attack buffs, and Defense (and maybe accuracy) debuffs, are the only ones worth the trouble. Having functional attacks and enough AP to use them is a higher priority.
Battery+Turbulent Juice= Superbattery
Super battery + circuit board + tin can= Morty chip
Thanks guys. This will definitely come in handy starting out. It's pretty crazy how this is in the top 10 for all free downloads. If this ever leads to a full release in this type of style it sounds like it could be really fun.
Is it actually possible to not die a few times without spamming blitz n chitz
I'm making a rick/morty parody about rick shilling pocket morty so he can get shmekels, any particular cameos/lines anyone can suggest?
Morty rig wip.
This little commercial probably has some lines or ideas you could use. I like the one about him "moving the product", Morty takes his job pretty seriously.
And of course anything from Pokemon is gold. Maybe something like how they can go forward from here with new mechanics? Like Mega Mortys? Or Morty double / triple battles? And of course there's always Morty dressed as Ash Ketchum.
This one that is.
What the fuck did I do wrong?
>All these Mortys...You know, i keep getting older but they stay the same age~
>Can't emulate the game
I even went through the trouble of installing a second emulator just to make sure it didn't work.
I mean, that was mostly my own fault, but I'm still fuckin' pissed.
Huh, interesting. So that's why i cant manually save through settings? Sounds kind of precarious, relying on what's basically an autosave function.
And yeah it would make save scumming more difficult. Sucks because i can already tell i'm probably going to get jewed out of some coupon outcomes with bad luck.
It's a new app, which means there are still bugs to work out. As a tip, though, you're better off saving coupons until late game, as the level of your pull is linked to your number of badges.
Fuck off. The game is shallow and one-note as it is, what you want is just a microtransaction circle jerk.
Good job wanting to ruin the one thing a free 2 play game could ever do right.
True, i guess it's to be expected with any release. And thanks for the tip. I got like 4 items and a Morty though, so it wasnt too bad. Unless you mean the Morty's level himself and not the quality of the gets.
This. Even if it's just for the end game. Just a random battle mode. I want to fight friends.
Best case have a ranking system and get seasonal rewards like seasonal morties or something. As if they couldn't pokemon the fuck out of it with increasingly hackneyed Mortys
>Spork Morty (red shirt)
What's wrong with every f2p game that's currently on the market where pvp is a circlejerk between who paid more for microtransactions?
Nothing, I'm sure.
This game isn't pokemon. This game is a joke.
It's a joke, as in there is little to no balance or complexity to be competitive over. Wanting pvp is just a shallow reaction to it being a pokemon parody.
I enjoy it as the joke it is. You have a shitty idea that would ruin what makes this game tolerable.
It's a non-exploitative free game that gives fanservice to the show, and even makes subtle jabs at games like Contest of Champions. It could be tweaked, or could have been a paid game with more effort, but otherwise it's perfect as it is.
I'm just posing the question.
The biggest flaw with this game is probably the inability to return to the not-Pokecenter once you go through a portal. It makes the whole thing seem like a set campaign, and taking away natural grinding is taking away one of the staples of Pokemon.
It wasnt my idea you presumptuous faggot, just letting you know that your own preference has no influence on the overall game. You want it for petty and selfish reasons that could not even impact you as you could simply choose to ignore the feature. People want to play online rock, paper, scissors, stop acting like an elitist faggot for taking it upon yourself to be some imaginary guardian of fun that only reflects your own vision.
I hear it's possible to get every morty in the game without spending real money, but possible to not, since two mortys you need for your collection are only from the blits n chitz lotto, and since you can only get 10 or so for free in a single playthrough I hear...
Is there a NG+ or a wa to get coupons for free to get the last two mortys you need?
Just finished season 2.
I can understand how people don't like a lot of shows, including all of my favorites.
I will never understand how people don't like this.
It's the best thing to happen to adult cartoons in a looooong time. Like over a decade.
>I should be able to handle this Morty, as long as he doesnt crit-
>Well i should be fine on this turn if my attack doesnt mis-
>The attack missed!
Worst of all it feels like it never happens to the AI. Not when it matters anyway.
there is literally no cap on how much mega attack seed you can use on a morty. Just stick with your starting morty, earn 20 badges, and spend all of your currency on the seeds and make his damage OP
So, at least at a certain level, the item bundles on each dimension have a low chance to drop a B&C ticket. I've found that save scumming the item bundles, then scumming the B&C booth until it drops either the Morty you want or another ticket is pretty effective, though tedious.
Has anyone gotten Mini Morty form Blitz n Chitz yet? It's the last of the higher level Mortys that seem to be either incredibly rare or nonexistent in the wild that I need. I've been scumming B&C and seen like 5 Cronenburgs but zero minis.
Why didn't they port it to 3ds? isn't tamer than the show?
Not having a healing center nearby only becomes a problem if you have a few Mortys in your party, they're in base form, and at low levels. Once you have a team of high-level evolved Mortys, it's a little easier to finish a world without blacking out (you lose nothing anyway, if you do). Furthermore, you will eventually have a surplus of Schmeckles and Crafting Items that you can just get Serums and Plutonic Rocks on the Fly.
>Not when it matters anyway.
Has anyone else had trouble with the game just closing to home after the first loading screen? I played it for a while then suddenly I can't get past. Like I can click play but then boom crash. Might just say fuck it and play it on bluestacks.
Well that's a relief, if they're rarespawns i can at least grind in dimensions until i find them. But is it true that once you're out of Council of Rick members you cant get coupons in the game anymore?
Got the game yesterday and been grinding my way to get my team going. One true morty was a pain in the ass since it was basically a Magikarp.
So far I have only one attacking move. Its said that you won't get another atk move till lvl 40ish. So far it's okay for a collectable, but it's not worth the grind. Cronenburg Morty is more worth it imo.
I didn't get egg Morty until my Mortys were already lvl 25+ so every enemy KO's my egg Morty. Am I fucked? So fucking tedious to just have to switch out immediately and use the level up seeds on the egg. Fuck me for not paying attention.
4. Forgot about those. I was saving them for when I got too in over my head for the council but I haven't needed them so, thank you for reminding me how much of a dumbass I am for forgetting about them.
>all those people posting those weakshit teams
took my picture with a potato just so you know I'm not cheating anons :3
you can actually get overleveled shit just by fusing, all of my shmecklez went to leveling normal morty, he's shit tho
had him level 13, tried to see if I could defeat bunches of trainers with no switching to save grinding time, but, he's just not effectivee nough, and he's about 20-15 levels over the enemy morties, he's just not worth the effort
>mfw maybe that was on purpose
10/10 programers, 10/10
they sell atk def and spd ones for 1000, and then the mega one for 2500, not sure at what point they start selling them on, but they have to do with how many badges you have
on a side note I always savee 5000 so I can buy 10 chips at any time, you can make serums with materials anon, dont waste your money on those, but its better to have ap items overall
Aah sweet, good to know. I was wondering what kind of stock they'd have eventually. I'm barely at level 10 so they only have the most basic of stuff. I also realized that healing items are kind of a moot point in most cases since blacking out just sends you back to the hubworld.
i never bothered with the regular morty. i think mine is around level 11 and i'm 28 badges in. my strongest morty (after my slight op wizard morty i got from fusing) is my reverse mermaid morty that i got in blitz n chips gachapon early on in the game. i'm getting to a point where the matches feel a lot more balanced as opposed to before where i could just defeat not only a trainer or two but also a rick in a portal with my reverse mermaid morty. it kind of sucks because it means i have to actually consider what morty to send out when and am not able to fight all the mortys but it feels balanced which is something pokemon really did not consider
Combine two karate mortys for this badass.
>Q. I’m getting a “Device not compatible” error message in Google Play Store, even though my device should be supported.
A.We're aware of an issue where some people get a "Device not compatible" error message in the Google Play Store when trying to download Pocket Mortys, even though Pocket Mortys should support the phone. Google is currently investigating this issue with Google Play Store.
As a temporary workaround, Google suggests clearing Google Play Store's data from your phone and then trying to install Pocket Mortys. To do this, go to Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Play Store > Clear data. Then restart your phone.
So about them hacks.
How do you go about doing this exactly. I dont usually play anything on mobile so i don't know anything about memory editor tools on android devices.
Do they even have something like a hack protection for google play?
Still better than making a combination that's 10 levels above anything else you have, putting him in battle against the counsel, then realizing he has no attacks that do damage.
Has there ever been a situation where a status altering move was even partially logical?
When you know you won't use your Morty anymore for the rest of the battle (there are no more foes whom he has a type advantage against), maybe you'll want to fluff up the next opponent before letting him get dazed/switching him out?
Critical i meant, not counter. Speaking of which i could see counter moves actually being really powerful in this game since it's so simple. In the actual pokemon game they're kind of a gamble since there's just so many other ways to attack.
>Initial reaction to this game
Pocket Mortys? The fuck? No one wants to collect a bunch of different Mortys, he's not cool or cute enough to get people invested in them.
>Not even an hour into the game
Look at them following me around, they're so cute! Is that a Tetsuo Morty, holy shit!
Just beat the second to last council member....I have regular morty at 32 and the following all at 37
The one true Morty
Psychokinetic Morty (my favorite)
Rainbow Shirt Morty (worthless)
I have several Morty's in the high 50s in the daycare for later use (and a lvl 77 rainbow shirt Morty with worse stats than my wizard in all but HP)....atm I'm fighting stuff in the mid 30s though so stuff is steadily leveling out.
I have yet to see a wild Morty in the self defense or swimmer lines or the base form of hipster and off the grid Morty (seen plenty of the second stage ones)......I'm starting to think they don't exist. Also I'm starting to think the last Morty's in the dex (the eight or so before egg Morty) are blips and chitz token only or some shit because outside of boss battles and the one guard Morty I got from a token (considering using it) I haven't seen a single one. I haven't bought any mind you....these are all from the council boss battles.
Apparently all Mortys in the game can be found in the wild, as a rare spawn, except for Mascot Morty who i heard is bugged and cant be encountered.
I've seen self-defense and swimmer Mortys too so you probably just have bad luck with portal RNG.
That's good to know I guess....I'd really like to get a Cronenberg Morty at some point, and I figured my rng sucked balls but it's just really vexing to have not seen a single fucking one (here lately my stages are full of wild Ancient and Wrestler Mortys).
I dont know if your level or badge amount locks you out of certain worlds where Mortys can be found, but i certainly hope not. That'd be pretty lame. What this game also needs is a way to go to certain worlds to find particular Mortys, they can still keep the RNG factor in it with different lay outs if they need to.
Has a Morty Manipulator ever failed for anyone even when they're red?
Also do you get any bonus for completing the 3 icons in the top left or is it just an ordinary checklist?
It never happened in the red for me, just the yellow.
I dont know what that exlamation point is for, but i figured the 3 icons were just to let you know what else is still in the area.
It's for defeating all the trainers....and no it doesn't give you any bonus.
Also I've only had a manipulator fail on me when I used one on a Morty with like 50% hp....they've always worked at red
>"This Morty has seen everything but has yet to feel the warmth of a loving touch"
>All these other sad Morty entries
I've just beaten the 5th Council Member, and what I basically do is have one of each type battle, use a one shot attack, and if it doesn't kill the opponent, I use a normal attack, I also have tons of Serums & Phonic Stones
-Pocket Mortys Morty (LV 37)
-Robot Morty (LV 37)
-Reverse Mermaid Morty (LV 37)
-Morty (LV 10) (I just keep him, cause I have too)
& I all got them from the Blitz & Chitz Machine
Anyone know how I can get the Bluestacks pop up to disappear?
I was playing Pocket Mortys yesterday but today I got the pop up telling me to register to premium or add some apps if I want to continue using Bluestacks.
You could get them all from exploring.
Except the unreleased ones and Mascot Morty, those can't be obtained yet
Adding, some Mortys seem to be rarer than others
Have you watched Community? Harmon is a fantastic showrunner, he knows how to deep characters, and scripts that are hilarious and tragic at the same time. But he runs out of ideas when he has to do that for multiple seasons.
I already tried that. It doesn't work.
That's what i heard about Dan Harmon too. Community steadily declined after a few seasons until it just plummeted off a sheer cliff face of quality. I hope working with Roiland will strike that balance needed. The show already is off to an amazing start.
>Initial reaction to this game
Pokemon ripoff? It looks like it would get boring after an hour. Probably shit.
>An hour into the game
Holy fuck is that a wild Rabbit Morty that thing is so cute I NEED IT. Aww man, look at all the Mortys following me. TAKE THAT OTHER MORTY TRAINERS YEEEEEEAH!
To be fair Community's worst season was 4, when Harmon got fired (which is when he started working on Rick and Morty). He came back for season 5 and it was pretty good again. He may get stale after a while but he always delivers entertainment.
>capture as many mortys as i have chips
>only use buffs on the last morty the rick has, die and never have to face higher levels
>only move on when all mortys can one hit everyone
what the fuck are you talking about? i just got off of a pvp match in KOTH:O match maining rodeo bobby, i'm about to start a raid with my bros in EEnE:O, about to wreck some shit with my professor scam build anyone else wanna join in?
Just beat the game.....update (I'm ocd and keep everything the same level)
One True Morty 47
Wizard Morty 47
Psychokinetic Morty 47
Cronenberg Morty 47 (got it from a blipz and chitz token from a quest involving a microverse battery. Was really stoked to see it)
After a certain point I just stopped fusing new Mortys. Wizard and Psychokinetic have been in my party since they were about lvl 30...nothing I found ended up being better.
I found a grand total of ONE swimmer Morty and ONE karate morty before reaching the end...so they do exist but goddamn, hoping to eventually find more.
Seen every morty except number 74... have yet to see the following in the wild/fuse them..
Self defense, No mercy, spoon, gaseous, cowboy, robot, hammerhead... accidentally killed the only cyclops Morty I've seen.
Staying on this ride till I get them all....are vanilla and cronenberg the only non attribute ones btw?
Unreleased ones? And I heard people have completed the morty deck...can you get mascot from tickets?
Is this number 74?
