Groening is in talks to develop a cartoon for Netflix.
What's it gonna be, /co/?
Will Futurama rise from its grave a third time?
Life in Hell show?
Ned Flanders spinoff?
Olive the other Reindeer: the show?
Not sure how I should feel.
Loved the early Simpsons and like 50% of Futurama but maybe it will be the same stuff with different setting yet again or somelike the other 50% of Futurama and Simpsons.
Would Futurama even be worth bringing back?
I feel like there was a lot more potential for good stories to be told (at least compared to Simpsons) because of the scifi setting. However, for the last couple of seasons, it was mostly hit or miss.
>Ned Flanders spinoff?
Doesn't own the rights, they rest with FOX.
Possible, but development implies they want something new, and Futurama had a pretty definite end.
It could be anything.
>Would Futurama even be worth bringing back?
Absolutely not. This show's died and come back too many times, and every time it's come back, it's been at least slightly worse.
>and Futurama had a pretty definite end
Futurama has had several pretty definite ends, followed up by one DEFINITE definite end.
