Im waiting on some work money to complete Prophet just in time for earth war
I been planning on storytiming the first arc, but i only read the first two, not on choice tho, but because my store just stops carrying shit and they always have a hard time completing orders.
But it's on the way thanks to amazon
Declan is the shit.
if i had one criticism of it, it's that it's really dialogue heavy and ellis' script didn't give declan a whole lot of room for expressive movement. it was mostly people talking and the action scenes were mostly stills
i do enjoy the characters and how nice the art looks tho
Daredevil by Brubaker
Green Arrow by Mike Grell
This is a great thread.
Starman Omnibus vol. 5
Lucifer book five
Howard the Duck Complete Collection vol. 1
S.H.I.E.L.D. by Steranko
Hitman vol. 5
The mask/The adventures of the mask
Superior Foes of Spiderman
Been hard to even start collecting any comics, though, not a lot of money and these temp jobs aint paying much,
Dear God, when did I get this old?
Recently finished Batman Odyssey (now one of my favorite cape comics), going to read Dark Knight Returns, Johns GL omni vol. 2 and the rest of Tom Strong next.
Treasure Island parts 1 and 2
Blacksad: A Silent Hell
Goddamn This War!
Sock Monkey: Into the Deep Woods
Luis Vuitton Travelbook: Venice
Also a shit load of zines and single issues I've neglected.
Recently finished Tezuka's Alabaster. Yet another mediocre DMP release, doesn't compare to his more fleshed out adult books but interesting to see some of the themes he'd explore with more maturity later on
>Starman Omnibus vol. 5
Jelly. I started with the Omnibus TPBs and since they discontinued those I don't have enough money to get the older editions. Considering just pirating it, but that wouldn't be the same. Crap.
i.e. the only people here that actually read comics
I got Space Dumplings for my 12yr old brother for Christmas. Looks like a good sci-fi romp, and Thompson's art is gorgeous as ever
