I'm ok with this
I'm not a Lucas apologist by any stretch, but I don't think his ideas were necessarily the problem. I think the production schedule and general apathy towards the prequels compared to the OT is mostly to blame.
my pleasure. I read the Jedi one as it was coming out, but I had never read the (vastly superior) Ep IV and V Infinities.
>Ole Annakin (or however we're spelling it), thinking with his wiener
Talk about things "staying the same"
Let's get weird.
no clue. I'm not sure when "colored sabers" entered the picture.
Let's talk /co/
Other than this thread, what are you reading right now? Comics or otherwise.
(This is the first time I'm reading this, and I'm digging it.)
Every bit of it made before Marvel officially took over a year ago is noncanon. The Legends collections they're releasing are just reissues of material from the Dark Horse era.
In otherwords, the only canon SW comics are the current ongoing Marvel series (SW and Vader) and the miniseries from the past year (starting with Princess Leia).
there's so much pottery in this. I think I like it more than TFA actually...
The three infinities are from 2002, 2003 and 2004. This comic is from 2013 and is one of the last of the Dark Horse era. Obviously all of this is alternate universe material anyway, as well.
I dropped out of Fight Club a few issues in. What's your take on the "long game" of it? When I saw Chuck talk about "Fight Club 3" I lost interest...
Last SW issue for the night
Is Manowar-anon around tonight? Considering doing a few issues of that next.
I hate to invoke one of the plinkett-meme words...but it's so dense. Seriously. It's great scifi/fantasy space opera.
I hadn't heard about 3...not sure that's the best idea. it's been a decent run so far, not the best in the world but some decent issues. However it has a lot of callbacks to the first one so that might turn some people off
this would be an insanely long movie as drawn out in the comic, but all of these alternate reality series would make for a great ongoing show, arcs or seasons long enough to cover the story and then move on and try again.
more STAR WARS WHY NOT
Yeah I thought I had missed it but he just starts wearing it in that issue like nobigdeal.
>thanks for the neurological damage!
