Darwin is able to predict everything Gumball does. To prove he can be unpredictable, Gumball pretends to be friends with Hot Dog Guy. Hot Dog Guy is too embarrassed to admit that he doesn't know Gumball. They both pretend to be friends. They hug every time they see each other in the halls.
Gumball starts to call Hot Dog Guy "dude" while they're hugging, but decides that's too familiar and turns it into singing "do do do."
So now every time Gumball and Hot Dog Guy hug, they also sing to "do do do" with each other and pretend to slow dance.
Gumball invites Hot Dog Guy over for a sleepover. Hot Dog Guy puts his hand on Gumball's shoulder while he's asleep. Gumball accidentally climbs on top of Hot Dog Guy trying to move his hand, and wakes Hot Dog Guy up. Once Gumball is on top of him, they both decide to pretend they wanted to hug each other, so they're hugging and singing and pretending to slow dance together. On the ground. In a tent.
