Why are people upset that Deadpool is rated R?
What do you think will be in it that will make it a worse movie, or a worse Deadpool movie, that wouldn't be in a PG-13 film?
If you just don't think any superhero movie should be rated R, how do you feel about the amount of violence and other rated content in PG-13 superhero movies? Would you want at least some superhero movies to have even lower ratings than PG-13?
I know it's what I wanted.
when are we going to do something about these mothers? it's not that hard to just come together as a people and label a parenting practice unacceptable. look how quickly the liberal faggots banned spanking
well I complained because it seemed like the R rating was just a "here you go 'fans', this is the super violent and brash deadpool you wanted right?!"
when his best dialogue were PG-13 at most like in Cable & Deadpool and nothing we've seen so far in the trailers require an R rating if we were supposed to see hints of Kellypool or Remenderpool
Of course not. There'll be romance and drama shoehorned in so fucking hard.
I can only imagine, after the 90th fart joke, how loud the violins will have to play to try and force the audience into being emotional.
You KNOW it will happen.
Dead girl or dead children. One of the two. Always. like clockwork.
PLEASE BE SAD NOW.
They probably showed a dick somewhere, I bet. That or the MPAA saw all the sex scenes in the hotel and went 'no fucking way is this PG-13, either keep that whole segment to all of 20 seconds, cut it out entirely, or it's R'.
>stealing same title from an awesome movie
Clint is not impressed.
Ryan, when you did this for Green Lantern it was cute, but still annoying. We know it sucks. We know you tried your best and still failed.
Stop making these threads. Go bang your slightly manly girlfriend instead. Go on. Go.
Cable and Deadpool was anything but PG-13. What comic were you reading?
Yeah, my worry is it'll just be bad. I'm not too impressed by the trailer. Nothing Wade says is funny at all.
From what I read, the petition for a PG-13 cut of "Deadpool" stems from a YouTuber who said that one of her fans cannot attend a screening of the movie because his mother would not allow him to attend the movie because of the rating; if it were PG-13, then his mother would take him.
The kid in question was eight years old. Just let that sink in for a minute.
Did you know they made the PG-13 rating because PG movies supposedly became too scary for kids? At this point, they might as well phase it out. And while we're at it, phase out the G rating as well. You can count the number of G-rated movies released in the past five years on two hands, I'm pretty sure.
>Liked deadpool when I was a child from my dad's comics.
>Bought cable and deadpool and read those when I could.
>mfw I fullow understand why hipsters hate when their shit goes into the mainstream.
I'm scared to watch it. I want it to be a fun ride but i'm scared it'll be nothing but 'Chimichanga XD I'm so wacky!'
oh its gonna be wacky as fuck, but also violent and im fairly sure theres gonna be some character work in there. Reynolds is an actual fan of the character.
there will probably be a cimichanga reference though, might trigger some people..
>serious shit went down and Deadpool is sadden
>he walks out of a gas station
>screen fades to black
>Deadpull brings the scene back to point oit the chimichangas in the corner screaming,"OMG TAKE A SCREENCAP FANBOYS THOSE ARE AUTHENTIC CHIMICHANGAS IN THE DEADPOOL MOVIE, you're welcome".
I think most people are mad because of how forced the R rating is. They seem to be swearing just for swearing sakes. In my opinion they should scale a bit of the kooky swearing and bullshit back and concentrate more on the serious part of Deadpool. I can't remember which issue it was but there's a newer dp comic where dp is trying to find the mother of his daughter in North Korea. He slides down a pit into a pile of dead bodies and starts crying and freaking out. Captain America had to get wolverine to calm him down.
That's the kind of Deadpool I want to see with an R rating.
The comments are fucking priceless
I don't know if it has been said, but I feel like it is just gonna be going for cheap laughs with excessive cursing and such because of the R18+ rating. Maybe I'll be proven wrong when the movie comes out. I'll give it the opportunity. But it just doesn't seem like it'll try to be a big more creative.
Probably still be good though.
>I'm singing this because my mom said that I can't watch it and I am upsessed with deadpool so I was sooooo bummed that I couldn't watch it.
Usually its backwards with the theater version being pg13, then catching people with the "unrated version' to get paid twice. Typically with comedies, Anchorman 2 and Trainwreck have completely different jokes in each version.
I'm surprised they didn't do that here, with the separate versions of trailer dialog, and with a bunch of kids who obviously don't want to have to bring their parents to the theater.
>Deadpool breaks the fourth wall all the time
>Therefore, there can be a PG-13 movie
I can imagine a movie full of SCENE MISSING title cards, hands with censor signs coming out from beyond the frame, and a point where Deadpool just pulls theater curtains to hide the action on-screen.
>My son marvel who is 7 wants too see it
Is his son named Marvel? Is he in a bizzare grammatical way trying to say his son marvels at the concept of seeing it? Is he just throwing the word marvel into an otherwise near-acceptable sentence because it's relevant?
I do not understand.
I must understand.
Being able to open Netflix and watch a movie IS more proficient than what many older adults can do. They're catching up, but chances are a 12 y/o will learn faster to use a smartphone than an adult above the age of 30.
>Deadpool shouldnt be rtated R!!!1!
>It's a SUPERHERO movie
>It's a MARVEL movie
>My mom won't let me see it and I don't know how to use the internet, HELP!
>Think of the children! Most of his fans ARE children so make it so they can see it!
>R rated movies are trash, to much sex and violence is bad, even for adults
>Swearing? F-bombs? What is this, the 80's?
>Just give the rights back to Marvel you hacks!
There's no "no" in our culture anymore. It's expected now that if you just whine about certain things or.if you're a certain kind of person you'll get your way.
These parents could not give less of a shit about Deadpool. They're whining to fox because their kids are whining to them, and they figure beseeching a multinational media conglomerate to make an entire movie for them is a reasonable response. What's so ridiculous is any parent who's so uptight they won't let their kids see an r rated movie wouldn't let their kids see ANY Deadpool movie if they knew anything about deadpool's content.
>there's a newer dp comic where dp is trying to find the mother of his daughter in North Korea. He slides down a pit into a pile of dead bodies and starts crying and freaking out. Captain America had to get wolverine to calm him down.
Wow. This is... retarded. I mean, worse than nuLobo, even.
Don't say shit like that without reading it. It was pretty great, and had actual impact unlike Lobo.
Serious Deadpool is the best, the way he acts in X-Force and with Evan is superior to wacky zany Deadpool
