>What you think /co/?
>Red part on shoulders doesn't go into arms
>Red part on arms doesn't go into gloves
>NO FUCKING SPIDER ON THE BACK
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN MARVEL MADE THE WORST SPIDEY COSTUME HAHAHAHAHHA
I'm not too big on the 'cob-web' pattern. Though so long as it's not too much of a deviation of the classic costume, I can deal with it if that's the only difference. I'll be fine once they get the pattern correct for his own film (assuming that's the way they're going).
Fuck, that's the monkey paw of getting a costume pretty much perfectly the first time around, the compulsion to change it to stand apart form the previous product brings trash like Hepatitis-Basketball Man from ASM1. It's even worse now considering how godlike ASM2 costume was.
>“Is this a hint at what we’ll see from Spidey’s Civil War costume?” As it turns out, even the people that made it aren’t exactly sure!
>"“However, Marvel is doing a fantastic job of keeping the new Spider-man costume under wraps, so we haven’t yet seen it!"
Okay, I can breathe a bit easier
>make merchandise based on a characters costume
>company in charge doesn't give you a look at what said costume even looks like
Honestly, respect to these guys for doing something outside of the norm for a spidey hoodie when they had zero frame of reference other than other costumes that had come before.
Now that I think about it, in all of the Spider-Man movies he was loved, maybe it was because he was New Yorks only hero but the citizens adored him. Yeah, the bugle would still slander the shit out of him but the rest of the city respected him. He got the key to the city, he was a celebrity and he got the repsect he deserved. You think in the MCU he's gonna be shit on constantly again?
Well on one hand, he's a small time hero that the public can rally behind. On the other, the Bugle can slander him because he has a secret identity, more of a vigilante than the Avengers, and they can say he's just as bad as the Avengers. Plus he's an easier target for slander
Where were you when anon made a better design in a cave with a box of scraps?
Confirmed for best live-action Symbiote suit, though
This. People have too many expectations and there's too much speculation. Everyone is scared to fucking death that they're going to fuck Spidey up to the point that his role in the movie WILL make or break it. There's too much riding on him.
This is literally Star Wars Prequels: The Jacket
I'm sure the company did the best with what they had, and ended up creating an original design that I'm sure a niche group of people will appreciate. But it seems like they weren't given good enough direction and it strays too far from the original for it to be good.
I was actually getting Ditko vibes from it
So that confirms that we are not gonna get a look at Spidey's costume any time soon.
My bet is that it will be revealed at the Superbowl commercials.
