>Marvel's Avengers will get free character packs exclusively on PS4, PS3
The packs are based on the Ant-Man film and Civil War. Hopefully it's not as shit as the free DLC for the last marvel game which was based on the Thor film. It'll likely be coming to other platforms too as the Batman Beyond one did as well I tihnk
There's still a season pass for extra DLC they haven't announced though, so they aren't perfect. The season pass for Lego Batman 3 was alright but hopefully they make it better for this one.
>Ant-man relegated to DLC
>Thunderbolts relegated to DLC
Look, Lego, if you want me to buy your game, don't put the reasons I'd buy your game into the "you've gotta pay extra" category.
Guess I'll just wait until it hits the bargain bin.
Probably the latter, sadly
How would console games confuse casuals?
The real reason is that Marvel is too cheap to invest in making a AAA, it woul rather make a quick buck with Freemium cell phone and tablet games.
>tfw no licensed version of the old LEGO Island games
I just don't get why there's all these LEGO games where you don't do anything creative in them.
I'm really surprised that LEGO hasn't tried to do any creative games again, seeing as fucking Minecraft is basically a god damned LEGO game.
Because changing the formula would be too hard. Why do anything requiring effort when they can just make overly simplistic brawlers with a collectible system and use licened names to get money. The worst thing about it all is, to me, the slogan attributed to that lego dimensions game: "You're gonna need a bigger imagination."
No you don't. You don't need any imagination, just money to buy more toys.
>Captain America: Civil War Character Pack, which will be available at launch on January 26th and includes nine characters — yes, nine characters — featured in the upcoming movie: Captain America, Iron Man (Mark 46 armor), Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlet Witch and my personal favorites, Crossbones and Agent 1
If it releases this month anyway, they're not gonna give us the first look of Spiderman from a lego game
Lego star wars 3 was fucking amazing.
it got me back into the lego series.
Actually, I asked because I was curious about checking it out. With the exception of Lego Indy 2 (which I haven't played yet), each of the lego games I played was gold.
Still need to check out Lego Marvel, though.
The season pass for Batman 3 was just fine.
Yeah the levels were short but each DLC was a whopping $3. For a 30 minute level + replaying, a handful of extra characters/vehicles, and trophies/achievements, that works for me.
Thunderbolts (Citizen V, Songbird, Meteorite, Techno, MACH V, Atlas, Jolt)
Adventure Pack (Underwater and Space versions of Cap and Iron Man, Hyperion, Iron Skull)
Agents of SHIT
Classics (Classic BP, Strange, Captain Marvel)
Masters of Evil (Heinrich Zemo, Radioactive Man, Melter, OG Black Knight, Enchantress, Executioner)
ENOUGH WITH THE LEGO MARVEL GAMES! GIVES US A DC UNIVERSE FOR ONCE THAT ISN'T BATMAN CENTERED! REEEEEEEEEE
They're childrens' games and Batman is DC's biggest character.
