uncanny avengers #4
Synapse please this a marvel comic no DC.
How does cable manage to get around the mist and the plant stuff?
Man, it's so nice to see that Stegman's hands have healed and he's relearned how to draw properly, because the art in that first issue was horrid. This seems more like his standard art.
Pretty sure it just needs contact
also the end
Power Extreme baby..
YOU'RE ALL FIXED WHEN HANK PYM GETS BACK
>In the last issue Cable asks Rogue is a handful of Inhumans surviving in 2087 counts
>Creating a serum that would get the Inhumans killed by the plague too
>Shooting Synapse with it
>take down Red Skull and retrieve Xavier's brain
But I thought that Doom had inverted Red Skull in Latveria? Also, it's nice that nobody has tried to shit talk Cable about his dad.
Well, Castle Doomstdat is blown to shit and Doom is no longer ruling the country. Not to far-fetched to think that he might have gotten out.
Also, Steve doesn't know that Doom had him, so from his perspective, he'd just still be out on the lam somewhere.
>climax of Rage of Ultron had Pym and Ultron fused together in joint mutual self-loathing
>get hit by Starfox, who makes them see that they both have loved each other all along
>they freak out and head into space
>now they are friends
D'awww. I hope we get to see how that happened.
Red Skull isn't inverted anymore. Only Sabretooth and possibly Havok still are.
And although Skull was a prisoner in Doctor Doom's bondage chair, Castle Doom is in ruins now so he's presumably escaped
616 Mimic can copy just about any type of power.
Exiles Mimic had different rules though. He could only have 5 powers at a time and they were only about half the strength of the originals. I can't remember if only being able to copy mutants was another limitation of his.
it's so good that everything from his skulking-from-the-shadows entrance and the way he melts his armor off is incredibly unsettling. i hope that means there's still some strange psychic antagonism at work, but i also hope they retain their newfound mutual camaraderie.
THEY REMEMBERED THE LOOSE ENDS OF AXIS?! I can't think of anything that could be bett-
Since when did Cable care so much about the Red Skull or Xavier's brain? If he cared he would have helped out earlier.
I was talking about the modern GNs, like "X-Men: No more Humans", "Avengers: Endless Wartime" or "Spider-Man: Family Matters". I don't know how canon the older ones are supposed to be, but I believe most of them are.
>Since when did Cable care so much about the Red Skull or Xavier's brain? If he cared he would have helped out earlier.
Ever since he told Scott to go to war with Avengers and never helped him out.
So Cable is now an official member?
Does Steve really not care how the media will react to him recruiting a wanted mutant terrorist?
This team is supposed to be about giving mutants good PR and showing how they can cooprate, right? You'd think he'd ask Justice or Firestar to join
There really were only two things holding it back for me
>no X-characters I give a fuck about
>Stegman's art looking like dogshit
Both of which got fixed in the third issue with Stegman finally getting his shit together and Cable, one of my favorite x-characters, getting added.
Pymtron is just icing on the cake.
There's no way that the Red Skull doesn't know that people are looking for him (especially since he can freakin' read minds now). Every terrorist and important criminal knows that there are people trying to get them and take precautions.
He was all kinds of awesome in Cable&Deadpool. Especially with his attempts on "nation building", not just some guy that knocks evil doers over, but actually tries to actively make the world better. Would've liked to see more of that.
Why would you do that? If people think he's dead then nobody except the Avengers are on the lookout for him. What possible benefit is there ina coverup?
Plus, the only way the Red Skull being alive could be kept secret is if the Red Skull himself kept it secret too, which means it benefits him.
I was nervous about UA's quality under Duggan with the first issue and Stegman on art, but after this issue I'm certain that it's in safe hands with both.
Duggan's great at seeding/resolving plot points in the long term, and I'm pumped to see future work.
Synapse is prime waifu material.
So when did Big Two comics switch from the obligatory six-issue arcs back to shorter arcs? It seems like we're seeing more 3 and 4 issue stories than in the '00s (or in some indie comics that still are geared for 6-issue trades).
UA has been a surprise for me, I didn't expect anything out of it (the Remender run was always too clearly compromised by editorial) but it's been good fun since the Avengers 0 issue and getting better.
>Pym stole Tony's Superior Ironman design, calls it Ultron
>The superior armor is based off the symbiote Venom
>both Venom and Ultron try to kill Peter and Hank every chance they get
>Hank thinks this is a good idea
He's a fucking mad man!!
all characters would be better as lesbians
I'm pumped for Synapse development with Cable.
I'm thinking that over time the range of her powers is gonna rise. Seeing someone with a boring power learn to stretch it to be awesome is the best.
Also, if Shredded Man did this arc with plants, and she has a similar relationship with animals, what does her brother do?
>Randomly drop into a story time
That was the wrong image but still fitting
Well she certainly looks a bit retarded.
this was something i was just reading casually in storytimes... but i may need to actively look for this now. that's not quite now i remember the pymtron fusion working, but who cares at this point
>none of your friends will never carry on your pet characters and wacky ideas long after you leave the a company
it was always confirmed to have happened after secret wars.
>YFW Pymtron hunts down that maximum edge OC who basicly shut down Ultron with his edge and suffering in Annihilation Conquest
I think his name was Wraith.
He wore all black, rode a space motorcycle and the only emotion he could feel was pain, which amuses him.
Ultron and his techno organic viruses feared him because he had plot convenient mary sue powers.
That is probably the stupidest thing I have ever read. I kinda wish they'd bring him back now just because there's absolutely no way they'd play him straight. It would be like Punisher 2099.
