yeah, that's what I was saying in the last thread. as much as pasqualo loves playing the "supervillain" role, lodge and blackie were half-assedly trying to attack their base in the dumbest way possible. they got off way easier than they deserved.

she called pasqualo "the world killer" which implies that he's become pretty notorious, and yet her and her buddy's whole plan was just to march into the enemy fortress with a couple of hand guns.

I love that Maddie gives the new girl exactly one moment to explain herself before kicking her down the fucking stairs into the dungeon. She's totally on-point with her reasoning though.

Maddie has gotten a sailor's mouth in the last year or so.

He's got about fifteen highschools stacked on top of each other, a community that manages to survive in the horrorscape of the apocalypse, and an army of zombies/monsters/whofuckingknows. And he's faster than Sonic the hedgehog. He's definitely well known.

Still, based on the way those two were acting together I think it's safe to assume they've made it through really crazy situations halfassedly before. I mean the way they were joking around while nonchalantly walking up to the homebase of "the world killer" just makes it obvious they were a pair of down on their luck happy go lucky goofball adventurers falling into one set of hilarious and life threatening shenanigans after another, getting by on some mix of dumb luck and the kind of hi-jinks that blur the line between genius and stupid.

And then this time they got shot.

yeah, same deal. if you bring your actual foot soldiers, people who can be killed, to the fight, theres the possibility you'll enter into a "kill or be killed" situation. that's obviously pretty immoral when you have a couple plowerhouses like aurora and pasqualo who could just march straight in ignoring enemy gunfire and disarming them without having to kill anyone.

they'd probably keep playing out the whole "invasion" scenerio they pulled at the high school until someone (on either side, who didn't deserve it like the principal) gets killed, and then they'd switch over to a cyborg superspeed + god power 20 second shut out.

it might not even come to that. when they invaded the high school, the only human who was ever near the front lines was katie, and after her character arc moment she doesnt seem interested in doing that again.

or maybe pasqualo would just get bored of doing the same shtick over and over again, which is probably why that tower isn't taller than it actually is.

but in that case she'd probably just zombie bite them to death in order to replace the guys she lost. there's a kind of justice in that.

I have to say, yes I have. I usually try to steer clear of "drama," but I can't turn my head away. It's just that part of me that yearns for how things used to be. O&A was a great show despite Opie and Anthony themselves being the type of people I wouldn't really wanna be around. Fucking love Jimmy though.

Seeing Anthony Cumia's life sort of fall apart isn't something that makes me happy. He's a racist and he got accused of beating a comedy club owner's daughter up and that's fucking awful. I've been listening to O&A since 2006 and I realized now that I kind of saw Anthony as a "pretend" dirtbag. Having spend so much time listening to him I'd rather see him pull his life together than see him fall apart completely. It may be a naive thought but I hope that one day, those three can just be funny together again. I'm sure money will bring O&A back just like Ron Bennington said, haha.

ever since she first started working under pasqualo she's been pretty good about trying to preserve the fragile lives of the humans in her care. I don't think she's super sentimental about it but she did sacrifice herself to save maddie that one time. she knows that if any citizens/"friends" get killed, pasqualo would be very disappointed in her, and she really doesn't want that.
