What's you're favorite Arthur episodes to watch?
The one where Fern ruins Francine's life.
Both of them.
>Fern drew pic for Arthur to let him know he was a teacher's pet and deserving of being bullied
>Arthur showed this to his parents
>Even on episodes where they are on good terms, Fern never visits Arthur's house
>Fern rarely leaves her house other than to go to school
>It is very possible that Arthur's parents know Fern only as "the bully who draws hate comics of our son"
>one of the only times she's hanging out with Arthur and Buster she gets them to chip in for a comic that's too spooky for anyone but her to read
>tells a story about an umbrella that gives Arthur nightmares
Fern is a sociopath.
The one where Arthur is greedy and checks out too many books (including the brand new Scare Your Pants Off book!) and loses a library book
Oh, I have a hunch,
Breakfast, dinner and lunch,
Would be so fine to munch
If i had it with...
Before the janitor needlessly breaks his leg, this is the pic this guy
The episode where Arthur's mom became a member of a brawl-ready street gang.
>that episode where Fern fucking lost it.
Drawing this fucked up my eyes. Don't mix red and black, kids.
The one with Sue Ellen where she's running from the Baba Yaga, and before you even fucking ask, you know the ass be fat in it nigga.
I'm going to be completely honest with you guys. I don't mind the flash. They kept the voice actors, the background music, hell they even kept that weird wiggly line art style that doesn't make sense when using flash.
I just...I just can't dislike something because it uses tweening. This isn't like Johnny Test where the quality just dropped after the first season. This is still Arthur, it's always going to be Arthur! Them switching to flash doesn't change that.
>Someone drew Arthur fanart
>Someone didn't give a screenshot a funny name
>Someone didn't throw a bunch of shit together in an edit
>Someone actually made a thing
Even if your pic wasn't as good as it is, and even if it didn't feature most based character, this would still make me happy.
>even if it didn't
I'm saying that Fern is based/10, but that even if he had drawn a lower quality character, I would still be happy just with the fact that people are making fanart of Arthur in these threads.
>Girls an athlete and has a brother in Tibet
>Probably knows a thousand of them oriental sex grapples
>Probably does them kegals to keep the ass fat and rocking at the same time
>Shit in bed
Fern and Sue Ellen are best characters.
I'm not saying this to avoid conflict, I'm saying this because we need to understand that there is a connection between the two.
First of all, they never have any episodes together. At least, not many, and not prominently, as I can't remember any.
But when the episodes do NOT feature either of them, they are always together. Always.
They always eat lunch together, they always do homework together, they always play sports together, they always sit at an otherwise empty table in class together, they always talk together, but NEVER when the focus is on them. Always in the background.
What are they planning?
Clearly they're a duo of rapists, one of them holds down their target while the other takes what they want.
They're basically unstoppable when they do this, nothing short of superman tier super strength could pry them off of you before they've decided they're done with you.
The one where the Nazi Party takes over Lakewood.
I like the episode where the Japanese exchange student sucked Mr. Ratburn's dick so that Arthur could pass his class.
Let's just assume those two greentexts were a continuation of the Crust Fern greentext in which she has grown into the disgusting asocial bitch she was destined to become.
Fern is sweet, but she's also mean. See previous thread for proof.
It's part of why we like her
There are lots of classics, like the one where they parody different shows or when Arthur hits D.W. personally my favorite is when Buster walks in the gay bath house thinking it was a local swimming pool.
>Episode focusing on two best characters
>8:23 Fern throws Buster across the room, slamming his back into the wall
>11:50 Sue Ellen judo flips Binky. The kid at least 5 times her weight.
>Dat Ratburn ending
Thanks for sharing my new favorite episode, senpai.
>the only DVD set of Arthur that exists is of Season 10
Episode where Fern frames Arthur for eating Ratburn's cake and getting him expelled when?
Episode where Sue Ellen purposefully gets Arthur expelled so she can manipulate him so he comes running right into her arms and she gets what the wanted all along when?
Numerous episodes portraying this abusive relationship when?
I was thinking more of a yandere for Sue Ellen thing but whatever she's a cartoon dog we can all come up with our own slash fiction scenarios
I took it from some tumblr site that popped up when I reverse image searched another pic, I think.
I just tried it with the pic I posted, and if you
do the right click + search google for this image, the page I got it from should be your only result
>And I say hey
>What a wonderful kind of day
>If we could learn to work and play
>And get along with each other
>You gotta listen to your
SUNLIGHTO YELLOW OVABRIBUUU!
>not having an animation duelcitzenship boardpass
>he doesn't want to be the only good type of cross boarder in the active boards union
Of course the best cross boarders over all visit to the smaller boards that haven't been inducted into the active boards union where tourism hasn't ruined their natural splendour.
I always kind of wanted a full episode that was just an episode of Dark Bunny/Bionic Bunny. Maybe occasionally cutting to Arthur, DW and Buster making comments while watching it.
I've often wondered what kind of living you could make animating for a show like Arthur. I'd think it wouldn't be great since it airs on PBS, but it's also been running for like, 20 years, so maybe it's good money?
Just a reminder; stream of a few episodes starting in just over 20 minutes.
Has Marina ever mentioned why she doesn't wear shades? Does she really just walk around with her eyes aimlessly staring at nothing? I've seen blind people without sunglasses and it's kind of eerie.
My weekends for the next little while are busy to the point where I could not realistically do any streaming. I'll certainly try to a weekend/friday night type of thing when it becomes feasible for me.
The Agent of Change
mostly because of how hot Agent Double X looks
The one where he learns how to cheat and is pretty damn good at it.
His friends recruiting Binky was also a great gag when he revealed that he didn't know how to cheat at the game Arthur was beating them all at.
Damn your early I'm still getting schooled.
Later episodes have bad animation.
This is the only decline in quality.
Up to recently animation is good, and even today, everything other than animation is good.
There are plenty of not-as-quality episodes, but as far as entire seasons go, I'd say they're all decent.
>Brain needs to get home to see meteor shower
>Ratburn tells Brain he needs to stay after school and read his report
>Brain convinces Fern to take his place
>Only if he agrees to be her editor
>Brain ignores all friends and schoolwork during the rest of the school day editing Fern's paper
>End of school day Brain compliments Fern's paper for being "lyrical"
>Fern takes this as meaning it has too many adjectives, grabs the paper back from Ratburn, and says she'll start over
>Brain made to stay after school and almost miss meteor shower
Had I seen this episode before this or the previous thread, I would have just shrugged it off and forgotten about it.
But she did that on fucking purpose, didn't she?
>that episode where DW meets the tomboy version of herself
literally doing gods work anon
in exchange, here's why they all got deleted or something
>the episode where Arthur's dad helped out a struggling student
>that episode where the antler kid who, until that point, has been a background character, becomes a ventriloquist and annoys the shit out of everyone until he confesses no one notcied him before.
It was just meta enough.
>but her time to speak has finally come.
Ominous as fuck
I think he's the guy who made the Fern greentexts in last thread.
If that is the case then more of that. Maybe crust Fern
No, not those ones.
Look, I just want more asocial, disgusting rockstar Fern.
You didn't miss much. There was a total of about 5 people in the stream, and no more than 3 at once.
That said it all works. The stream works as perfectly as a stream can, and the episodes chosen were all good. The timing was what threw everything off.
If a new stream starts at a better time I'm sure it'll be great
It's literally been on my mind all day. Hopefully I can make it if it's during the weekend.
I'm heading into ATL to go to a SCAD day and see The Book of Mormon afterward.
Goddamn, that anon was right. Sue Ellen is a reaction image treasure trove.
I am that Anon Filename not meant to be an insult to you; this was taken when Sue Ellen gave Brain the business
>The characters in Arthur all chew food with their mouths wide open and making obnoxious, disgusting sounds
>Whenever a scene is in a lunchroom there is always obnoxious chewing and talking with food in their mouths
>At first I shrugged this off as just kids being kids. So they don't practice better manners; whatever.
>But as I keep watching more episodes I see that everyone does this when eating; even the adults.
>Even the adults who AREN'T complete classless fucktards, like Ratburn, will show absolutely no inhibition to eating as loudly and graphically as he can
>I have come to the conclusion that this is not a cultural matter of "kids just being kids", or a cultural matter of just a complete lack of manners, but rather a biological/evolutionary phenomena
>I believe that this total lack of consideration or manner in eating is one of the rare surviving testaments to the bestial origins of the creatures of Arthur.
>While the aggressive stealing/hoarding/claiming of food is no more present in them than it is in us humans, I believe their animalistic tendencies towards the actual practice of eating food is just base enough that the concept of "table manners" is not quite as constrictive as ours
How much does it pay?
>missed an arthur stream
I figured as much, same reason WeeklyTubeShow guy got rid of some of his videos (you know the ones) since he started playing Android 16 on DBZ Abridged.
I do enjoy his other content though, and his reviews are nice.
Not main green text anon but powerviolence fan
>Nails concert friday
>both of you walk into the venue
>find a good spot but you bump into Binky
>"HEY WHAT THE FUCK BRO"
>you open your mouth to say something
>Fern immediately right hooks Binky
>"Tell your asian import I said hi!"
>fern yanks your arm and finds a better spot
Fern hurting Binky, whether physically like in greentexts or emotionally like every time they interact in the show, will never stop making me happy.
It's how their characters clash, you know? Binky the big, bad bully who is actually a real softie at heart, and Fern, the reserved quiet poetry girl who may or may not be a clinical sociopath.
>No being friends with Binky Barnes
>No catching cool bugs together
>No flexin' an hanging with Molly + crew
>No secretly thinking beyond the yolk of the masks we wear together
Fucking hate this world and my lack of friends and myself
>that episode where arthur maces a gamestop employee
>that one time arthur turned into that 70s show
>people still act like the guy didn't have it coming.
>that episode where Arthur went to Ratburn's house
How many clones and androids are running around out there now? I know Donald is still alive.
>That episode where Muffy ascends to the Presidency
Pretty much all the clones degenerated, except Donald of course, due to all of his genetic abnormalities, he seems to be in it for the long haul.
As for the androids, I don't even think the writers know, at some points it hints only around 10 are left, at other points there are suggestions of thousands more.
At this point, I think the only thing that could kill Donald would be
Dark Excellent Donald
I just wish the writers would stop tying up plot points with Prunella's vague psychic abilities. Like the the the subplot about The Brain investigating his family's murder since season 3 and then she just comes in randomly and contacts their spirits and found out it was part of the Mr. Crosswire conspiracy. The whole thing seemed like it was just to make it look like we got something out the season 7 finale.
>That episode where George declared himself a knight and shot up the youth camp
Reminder that people can enjoy the same thing for different reasons from the greatest third grade teacher ever.
>arthur threads have devolved into fernposting
truly the most cancerous character fanbase
i thought we had it bad with sue-ellen-fags but fernfags really kick it up a notch
If you want to post other shit go ahead.
Here's a pic without your cancerous characters.
I was thinking more like
Arthur = Eric
Francine = Donna
Muffy = Jackie
Buster = Kelso
Binky = Hyde
George = Fez
Brain would probably be this fucksack.
>comparing Brain to garu-stu:the character
Go fuck yourself.
I'm still mad that the actor that play Charlie in the 70s show choose to go to that show Reaper instead of being Eric's replacement. Charlie was perfect in the 70s show
Why is it so enjoyable to watch Arthur get hurt?
>Eric leaves to Africa
>still hang out at his house
That always bugged me.
>Mo posters become a thing
>Muffy and Francine factions appear
This will our K-ON /co/, mark my words.
Hyde still lives there.
Couldn't be any worse than what Randy brought into the show. Red had a legit reason to like Charlie, being a son of a war friend, but how the fuck is he okay with Randy?
Wait a goddamn second, there's two white rabbits named Maria and Marina? How the fuck do we keep that shit straight?
Also what the fuck is up with all the rabbits having some form of a disability?
>Maybe they can actually push to get some decent fanart of her done or something I can jert to so I don't have to use the same single image every time.
I don't want to associate myself here anymore
>tfw Buster is your least favorite character
>tfw Buster always makes you annoyed and angry
>tfw you hate how obsessed he is with stupid alien bullshit
>tfw you hate how he only has one friend who he fucking attaches himself to at all times
>tfw you hate how he's so unlikable that no other kid will take the time to be his friend
>tfw you hate his constant jokes that only get pity laughs
>tfw you hate how he never actually talks to anyone like a person just tells jokes or quotes the last sci-fi movie he watched
>tfw you hate how he's so annoying everyone always finds some excuse to ditch him or not invite him to whatever party
>tfw you hate how he eats fucking everything he can get his dirty little hands on
>tfw you hate how much of a filthy slob he is despite his claims of "I have a system!"
>tfw you hate how little discipline he gets from a single mother who gives no boundaries
>tfw you hate how he isn't even upset in the slightest over never seeing his dad when he knows deep down he really should care more
>tfw you realize you were Buster
>scrubs season 9
>there's a new cast of characters, despite the original cast still being there
You Anons can just stream the entire series here.
The other seasons are in the related links box on the right and they are all updated.
Daily reminder: if pic related took off, we wouldn't have Sunny.
>truly the most cancerous fanbase
Did it bother anyone else how much of an oblivious cunt Mrs. Tibble was?
>mfw PBS got in trouble over that episode of Postcards from Buster which featured a lesbian couple and their family
>Muffy = Jackie
so true it hurts
>The episode where Buster went to Delmarva and made friends with a kid who had 3-6 moms
I think that they would be different a little bit. I will go more into later describing each character. Does anybody know any good fan fictions of Arthur being teenagers?
they look like hipsters
I know it's the only good pic I could find?
Deviantart is the last place you want to look for good fan art
Yes. Puppy dog girls, I have this specific thing....
>rewatching War of the Worms
>Brain, being that killjoy, ruin Fern's story with logic
>Fern, with the help of Binky, manage to make Brain crazy to a point where he attack Ratburn
As Binky says it, "When you (Fern) plan to trick someone, you go all the way!"
>most of his episodes focus on his deteriorating health
>finally confirmed to have Alzheimers
When this show finally decides to do an episode on death (the Spanky episode notwithstanding) I have a feeling it'll be this guy that goes.
Nice work, based drawfriend!
>>78943786 said it best.
thanks a lot dudey
you are welcome
I love that video and I thought it was taken down
>that picture of Fern
He got some nice taste.
That thread was a miracle.
>That episode where he wasn't allowed to bring friends
>the episode where Arthur's older cousin tied him up, gagged him, dressed him like a baby, stuffed him into a baby carriage and the rest of his family just stood around, laughed at him and called him a faggot
GOAT episode right here. It had everything that made the show great.
>doesn't talk down to kids
>teaches kids to be involved in civic life and speak up if something isn't right
>shows kids being themselves, not doing a bunch of retarded kids show stuff
I haven't watched a new episode in years. I really hope it's at least half as good now as it was then.
>Now Anon, you can't just call things you don't like "tumblr".
>You need evidence for this; substantiated facts on why this thing you do not like is "literally tumblr".
>I want a 2000 character post detailing exactly why this is tumblr-and that's NOT including the following works cited post that you will also be required to submit.
>I want it finished and on my thread by this time tomorrow. I won't accept late postings.
>Turn it in late amd I'm afraid I'll have to ban you after work AND I'll be calling your parents.
we about to watch pic related get in here
>You'll never be bullied by your hot older cousin Mo
have a better version anon
>have a hot older cousin
>all boy cousins around my age thought she was hot and had crushes on her
>she remembers this as I grow into my teens
>teases me about it
>finds out I'm still a virgin
>bullies me about my virginity
>starts telling me what girls want done to them when I finally ever do get a gf
>goes into detail about fingering, cunnilingus, penetration
>stops having these chats with me once I finally get a gf
>she used to send send porn vids and comment on what was good and what was bad
Fast forward to years later and she meets my gf
>asks her how it was to take my cherry
>tells her she's responsible for me being great in bed and tells her about giving me tips
Gf laughed it off but that was an uncomfortable car ride
>Everyone else in the Read family is brownish tan
>Kate is more of an off-white
Is lighter fur like a recessive trait or...
>people watch PBS kids past the age of 5
As somebody who watched Nick/CN all of the time growing up, is Arthur worth watching?
it's a cute comfy slice of life show. It only deals with stuff actual 3rd graders have to deal with, but done in a way that parents could understand and appreciate.
Soulbro, dude who made Missing Episodes, response to if his shit will ever be come back.
he's being a huge faggot
It's from the stream.
Philip Seymour Hoffman saw Fern and immediately sperged out over her
>A certain hunger in her eyes
