WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HER?
But bara is pretty hot so I agree with her
So she'll be picking fights with Garnet?
She has definitely come a ways design ways.
Now she's a qt.
Hooray for Lapis!
This thread is APPROVED.
Pearl used to be owned by Pink Diamond until the other three diamonds killed her.
Asshole lapis being silently touchy over Steven is an inevitability
what is this ship even called? water stars
kill yourself I fucking hope you die soon by slipping on dog crap and getting run over by a car you fucking piece of shit
you lapisfags disgust me you insufferable cunts
daily reminder to believe in steven
>Maybe when Peridot gets to earth, she'll see how nice all the people are and won't want to hurt anyone.
Me and you till the end, Anon.
I've heard it referred to as Lapiven before but people just say "Steven x Lapis" most of the time.
All ships are fine. Post yours.
>Steven and Greg fuse
>voiced by Jack Black
See, this is exactly what makes these threads terrible. Nobody can post original content because you get to 250 images almost instantly with your unnecessary reaction images.
Do you not know that there are words for emotions?
>implying such a colorfull animated seriescould ever be pitched by an adult network
SU has dark themes but not enough of them to focus on.
If this happened they would need to really focus more on the horrors of the HW and its caste system
Hey thanks, this is really helpful. No more confusing reaction images, now people will know exactly what Im feeling!
Peridot x Everyone
She's my little black dress, I'm willing to read any ship with her, so long as it's well written/drawn/it's got a reason of some kind
yes anon we heard you last time
you'll never understand it because it takes being emotionally mature
if you think anything remotely 'dark' is edgy then you'll never enjoy anything that's targeted at you
My tea's gone cold
I'm wondering why I got out of bed at all
The morning rain clouds up my window and I can't see at all
And even if I could it'd all be grey
But your picture on my wall
It reminds me that it's not so bad
It's not so bad
i still have a soft spot for Connie and lard
That would be dumb honestly. I like Steven Universe cause it's comfy as fuck to watch. It has some dark shit sometimes which is cool, but mostly it's just fun to watch. I wouldn't be able to stand it if it were darker and edgier and whatever else.
>Implying edgyness = adult
Darker themes are not edgy. Just things you cant explore for product that has kids as its prime audience.
Discrimination, homosexuality, humanity dealing with the discovery of other sentient race in the universe etc.
First time drawfag here /sug/.
I drew a crappy little sketch to try and get (pretty much just) proportions right. Midgets are hard! The line is shitty because I redrew and hacked it up a load to get this far.
Hopefully I can get something good out of this in future.
We still don't know what weapons Sapphire, Lapis, Peridot, Yellow Diamond, Blue Diamond, BPearl, and YPearl have.
I did my best, and by that I mean I didnt try at all
isnt Lapiz weapons her wings? I just assumed that.
Besides o doubt every Gem knows how to summon a weapon. Seems like technology develped/discovered during the war that kinda died out but our CG just love.
>having a weapon
What part of TERRIFYING RENEGADE do you not understand?
Peridot, a technician, obviously will also not have a weapon
Sapphire, who has the job title of SEER, needing a weapon?
Lapis, who can control oceans, needing a weapon?
Sapphire's would be gauntlet-related unless Garnet has actively been using only Ruby's weapon, which would be odd.
Lapis' weapon is her wings.
Everything else is ambiguous, though. I'm especially excited to see Peridot's, since she probably wasn't even trained to produce a weapon. Hers will be totally new to her as well.
just keep at it X-Man used to draw pretty bad too.
oh and I forgot.
Steven is a Quartz and all Quartz appear to have Spin Dash.
So will he combine this with his shield to unlock Charging Star?
Zuke, Sugar, Ian, if you are reading this. Steven must do this.
Is that... Gara's work? The eyes look familiar.
that would be kind of cool. Though I imagine it less an intimate thing and more like Father/son Jaeger pilot teams in Pacific Rim.
I only just got into the series and I'm pretty happy with the canon ships myself.
Though these threads have already convinced me Lapis and Steven are at least adorable.
This is Palpatine levels of "why in the world is this crazy dolt our leader?"
we already went over this
water bending is her weapon
now shut up
anon plz, I ain't no brony でも、/エムレピ/ がだいすきです。
I want to believe Sapphire's weapon is missiles.
Wait shit X-Man drew that? Damn that nigga learned proportions good.
What if the Irken Armada knows through spy network that Earth is a planet destined to be destroyed by the Diamond Authority, and were even more excited to keep Zim on that planet.
>Only thing we can assume is the part Ruby's weapon is missing
>Fetish themed restaurants
I imagined it was more of like a "hamster ball charge" for Rose and Steven.
most likely answer is that not all gems do have or have learned to form their own weapons. The CG do because they all were soldiers in a damn rebellion (sapphire exempt) I mean let's think about it:
>Blue and Yellow Pearl
Are both pretty servants the diamonds flaunt and are generally meant to just look nice or carry bags. Doesn't sound like someone you teach to arm.
Was a spoiled aristocrat with future sight. Learning how to fight likely wasn't a priority.
A wrench monkey
These guys are likely to have weapons. my money says Yellow Diamond might even be the only gem with an out-right gun-like weapon. Blue Diamond, possibly something like a spear.
But I'm just making wild conjecture.
Or, we could take the extra step forward and just do a Mass Effect cross over.
You think the Diamond Authority would be part of Council races, or be something like Batarians in keeping their distance while still able to push some power in the known universe?
>All the dialogue is nothing but Aimee Mann sighing
>And laughing softly
>And breathing heavily
I think he improved
Cuz he did my request.
call me crazy, but I think it could work
>I'm gonna fight the humans without getting any information about them.
>Gem energy and lasers literally do nothing to organic matter.
>I bet this Frankenstein made of Space Rock Zombie and Glue is gonna be enough.
This is not a smart leader.
I bet the gems are a minor backwater threat on the scale of universal conflicts because of this.
puberty hit steven hard
Shit I've been seeing people or one insistent faggot hate on Ruby, but not only did she risk her neck to save Sapphire after getting KO'd by Pearl and thus changing the flow of time, but after fusing, she jumped between Sapphire and BD to take full responsibility.
And the Diamonds are like GODS to the Gems, and she stood between a godly Judgement and Sapphire and risk getting crashed.
She's much better than given credit for.
She's much more likable now than she was in season 1A
I dunno I just copy and pasted the last thread with my own forced topic
It's been confirmed that Lapis' is her water control
If these are fancy pearls, how plain are regular pearls?
I'm on a hate love rope with her.
I still like Sapphire more but Ruby might come around if she isn't 100% white knighting Sapphire in every episode she appears in.
The more we've learned about Pearl, the more she's become quietly and disturbingly sympathetic. We always knew she was some sort of designed caste, I just didn't think that caste would be MADE TO ORDER SEX SLAVE AND SHOWPIECE.
Rebecca has the best fucking fetishes.
>Still takes the blame when she starts crying.
That's white knighting anon.
She's trying to make the princess feel better even though Sapphire is the one who was toning for her mistakes.
I still remember the Pearl hate riots of the Sardonyx bomb. Good times
who storyboarded that episode?
I was cracking up the entire time from Ruby's fits.
>Implying you won't be looking at the green ayy lmao goodness
what do you hope to accomplish with your post?
It was a cut storyboard from log date 7 15 2 about amethyst and Pearl teaching peridot about eating after peridot gets done eating amethyst goes on tell her that after she's done eating and the food is digested she needs to create a hole. I'll post a link I don't know why she took it down.
I support Peridot / Lapis as the two fusing to protect Steven because they both love him in different ways. A yandere and neko-tsundere joining forces.
That way Steven can stick his dick into two fused crazies.
Any other artfags in the thread? I might kind of want to crack some stuff out.
No, it was a couple apologizing to each other over having blown their cool when they made their son cry over them acting like assholes. Sapphire also apologized, is she white knighting Ruby? Do you even understand the words you're using, or do you just parrot every popular phrase from 4chan?
If you want more pictures, just ask
These people don't need to eat, sleep, ad seem to reproduce by shooting loads through a giant drill machine into holes in the ground.
Gems are super expendable and castes honestly have no sensible meaning to them besides warriors, leaders, and specialty services such as medical and mechanics.
Yet for some reason they still believe in the prospect of nobility and the upholding of noble titles that should sensibly not mean anything in the face of a non-resource managing system. These are people raised with the idea that power and wealth are set at birth and changing from that ideal goes against the actual reason someone, or in fact anyone is popped out of a hole in the ground.
If these people didn't have sex slaves, I don't know who else would.
Humans sure as fuck did.
Reminder that Steven/Peridot is... EndGame!
I always felt like Steven Universe had a spiritual succession to Ren & Stimpy's sort of fluid comedy and expressions, only, you know, without being disturbing and gross.
So, did we ever find out what causes a gem to become corrupted to be monsters?
Post your face when Peridot get damaged and corrupted into a monstrous dorito insectoid feline freak of nature, with only a shred of her previous personality left over, leaving her as good as dead.
>Steven can actually enter the minds of Gems while he dreams
>Eventually he is able to fuse with Pearl to become Rainbow Quartz Jew.0
>They go to sleep
>They end up in the dream world and just start falling until they end up on a beach
>They see the Temple from before even Greg was born
>Rose walks out of it
>She doesn't even said a single thing before they wake up
>Pearl's condition gets even worse knowing that once Steven dies, Rose might come back
Well yeah, but they usually prefer to have them at the recording booth to help direct them.
People usually phone it in when they have no time or because they could give less of a shit about the thing they were hired for.
Gem Superweapons I imagine. They might be the equivalent to radiation damage victims, leaving them unable to actually take on a healthy full form, and instead they just spawn as some nightmare being driven by pain and violence.
Sapphire is more of a minor nobility or an expendable tool at the hands of the Gem Gods that are diamonds as I would see it. I would doubt power like that would be common, or at least anything less than strictly controlled.
So if you look at it, those aren't her knights
Those are Blue Diamond's knights.
forgive me, for I have been cursed with the /snu-snu/
>implying Gems are not basically gems heavily infused with massive levels of element zero
I mean, shit, half the stuff they do has to be using mass effect tech on some instinctive level.
The biggest question is: can they be indoctrinated?
Also, Garnet is way too easy to level up influence on. Just say good shit about Fusion and she's sucking your dick.
Dammit, barely anyone can draw Jasper the right way to make her sexy
Zuke knows how to, though, Zuke knows EXACTLY what grease to use for the gears
>implying Jasper won't be the first gem to corrupt on screen
Sailors fighting in the dance hall
Look at those cavemen go
It's the freakiest show
Take a look at the Lawman
Beating up the wrong guy
Oh man! Wonder if he'll ever know
He's in the best selling show
Is there life on Mars?
She probably did a lot more than sigh, we now know that the writers and the VAs are way ahead of schedule, so recording all her lines for Opal in a day isn't too out there.
Just let me have hopal for more Opal
People that can draw have too much of a monopoly on fan art.
Fusing requires the gems to be in sync with eachother, and I doubt a bestial monster could sync up with a humanoid gem enough to fuse.
But I bet the Power of Love can bust through all that mumbo jumbo and let Steven just get in there and fix them up if he really wants to.
>Jasper sacrifices herself and gets blown away by a Diamond weapon which leaves her corrupted
>Steven talks to Lapis in his dreams
>Ronaldo talked about "Koala Princess" having a "dream walk" and meeting her mother
>We know that Ronaldo has been right before
So is Steven gonna meet Rose?
Will Steven sing Lapis the full version of her song in Barn Mates?
I want a full version of that.
Yeah, but you really need high Paragon/Renegade to shut down the impending bitch fight between Garnet and Pearl when you complete both of their personal stuff + The special mission. And if you can't do that check, you're shit out of luck when it comes to getting Garnet to stand down when it comes to the forced Gem fusion factories.
Also, is it me, or is Pearl (once you get her leveled right) a better Engineer character than Tali? I know Pearl's pretty much the 'can do a bit of everything' character, but she's god-tier imo
Reminder that the song Lapis Lazuli is actually about her entire arc
>She was trapped in a mirror
And it couldn't be clearer
>She wanted to leave this place
And get herself back in space
>And dad you might think she's a criminal
But her friendship comes through subliminal
>Lapis Lazuli, you fled into the bottom of the sea
>Lapis Lazuli, you were so mad, but then you came around to me
Joining the Crystal Gems
Nah, the first on screen corruption is going to be either
Think about it
The effective leader of the CGs gets corrupted and forces the others to learn to fend for themselves without depending on her knowledge and strength.
The titular character gets corrupted and we begin a new arc exploring how corruption happens and what exactly happens to the gem, and eventually how to cure it, or at the very least begin some sort of reversal process.
>implying it won't be Steven who jumps in front of Jasper to take the hit. Then comes up un corrupted because he is part human. The act of course wins over Jasper to Steven's side.
>TFW the VA for Sadie was on one of the best episodes of Scrubs
My theory is that Homeworld gave Rose and the Crystal Gems one last chance to leave the Earth unscathed, and when she still didn't budge they unleashed a new, devastating superweapon that physically alters Gems.
The mysterious orb on the moon is one of these weapons, and they need to go back for it in order to understand how to reverse its effects.
>implying that they're not going to continue running a train into Lapis' paper-thin psyche by having Jasper toss her aside to save her from the blow, leaving her wracked with confusion, guilt, and loathing
I had an idea for a spin-off series:
>Takes places many years into the future
>Evil Gem dictatorship is gone
>More and more Gems come to Earth everyday
>Alot of Human/Gem children have been born
>Because of their growing numbers, a school is set up
>A school for all "ages", whers hybrids can learn how to use their amazing powers
>Three main characters go on adventures
>Awaken an ancient evil
Would you watch?
And yes, I know this plot has been done before, but damn it I like it.
Sam Lloyd plays Sadie? I had no clue!
I had to go back like, 10 generals, but I found it.
Whoever is OP of the next thread, make sure to include this link!
I know it's more likely that Jasper will be bubbled than redeemed, or even reluctantly living with the Crystal Gems until she can get off Earth and make her way somewhere else, but it's nice to dream.
>using Pearl or Tali in your team
>Not just making a bee-line to Peridots recruitment mission asap
You need to put more resources into Peridot, but once you get her Limb Enhancers upgraded with Eezo stuff, her ability as a Sentinel goes fucking through the roof. Robonoid Drones, if you spec them into damage dealing rather than repair, make so many Collector/Reaper encounters easier.
>Log Date was written over a year ago
HOW MUCH DOES SUGAR KNOW
Not really. It's all about how you "Build them" by following their unique skills which basically push you down a certain path for them.
Pearl can deploy a better drone, Tali is better with weapon hacks, and Peridot can fuck over any synthetic enemy, including hacking Husks.
So I guess peridot is technically best since her ability is useful against some of the most annoying opponents. But, I suppose that's what happens when she's a late-game character you can only unlock in DLC.
>We will never learn what Lion is or how he was born/made
>We will never find out what Bismuth actually is
>We will never understand how Steven was able to enter Malachite's fusion realm
>We will never see Steven healing the corrupted Gems
>We will never see corruption happening in action
>We will never see uncorrupted Centipeedle
>We will never see Steven fixing the Gem experiments
>Steven has an organic body, therefore he can't do fancy jumps and acrobatics, poof into his gemstone, shapeshift without it going wrong, have superhuman strength, etc. like full-blooded Gems
>Therefore Steven will never be a real Crystal Gem
>This whole show is a ruse
>Can teleport to the goddamn moon
>Knowledge of gem structures on earth
Lion is a corrupt gem. Which gem?
Pink Diamond. Defeated by Rose, but too strong to lose her sanity entirely like other corrupt gems.
All of it.
Sapphire is the personification of Sugar because she knows everything that ever will or could happen.
The second we hear her say that she doesn't know something, we know she's ran out of pre-writing.
A lot of jasperfags have already accepted their waifu's fate.
It helps numb the pain
You wish you had a Todd poster.
>Robonoid spamming on Peridot
Dude, what are you doing?
Well, doesn't matter anyway, I usually go out with Grunt and Steven on my infiltrator.
Steven's basically makes Grunt immortal and me that much harder to kill, Grunt makes a scene, and I just pick off anyone else too far for Grunt to reach.
Lion is one of Rose's experiments to fix corruption. It failed but she was able to salvage it into something useful.
>Lion was originally supposed to be yellow. To imply Rose stole it from YD.
>Steven slowly rebuilding Rose's revolutionary army.
All according to Keikaku.
Hey, at least the DLC sticks and stays around. Keeping her for three games just for buying her in the first game is god-tier
It's kinda crazy that if you don't romance her, Peridot ends up spending a weird amount of time with Garrus, as opposed to Tali if you never had her on your teamBut then again, it's not like many people DIDN'T get Peridot when they could.
Her encounters in the Citadel DLC are hilarious, along with everyone else.
Too many names could work, and it's not always tied to the colors of the components. I certainly didn't expect Sardonyx.
But I would prefer that fusions have obscure mineral names rather than obvious ones like Emerald and Jade.
>the show is done
>it's animated out to god knows how far ahead
>we're forced to wait on CN whim for their shitty useless stupid bombs instead of just 1 ep a week to get one season a year in
probably, f had to guess i'd say it looks like this
>Not picking up Peridot and letting her join the team as the Normandy's technician after her betrayal of homeworld
Honestly, anyone who turns down her offer to join are heartless assholes. She ends up disappearing for the next few games, only to return in 3 as a miniboss like Jack would be.
>The Crystal Gems in the Citadel DLC
Honestly... I thought they all acted like exaggerated caricatures of themselves. Everyone felt just a bit more obnoxious with only Greg and Steven being spared. Not to say the non-gem cast of the Citadel DLC didn't have some ridiculous moments. What did they do to Jaavik?
But, yes, needing to only buy Catch and Release DLC once was nice.
I'm also wondering how Gems are going to play a role though in the next game seeing as Sugar confirmed the Gem Homeworld is in the Andromeda galaxy?
Did someone stop believing in Steven over here?
Why didn't anyone ever put it into terms Peridot might understand then and there? like pointing out that Steven, Greg and the other creatures on Earth she'd seen up to that point would have been killed or never existed due to the extinction of organic life
>Not recruiting Jasper
Sure, you only get to pick one of them, but Peridot is a gimmick meme character. Jasper is like a Vanguard, but no biotics, and absolutely shreds through armor, barrier, and shields easily. Her only downside is that she's a close ranged character.
So this is the power of Ruby ass. Not bad
Cool idea actually.
I think the whole thing is gonna be about how the gem population are shown a new light of tolerance and acceptance of the value that organic life can hold, causing some sort of revolt or at least turn around.
Alternatively, Gem Lasers don't work on organic life the same way they only half assed worked on Steven.
>An entire gem army comes to fight
>Humans are pretty much invisible to anything but melee weapons.
She was always a qt, but now the crew knows exactly how to make qt.
The thing about early Pearl that bothered me the most was the way her hair was handled, it always seemed awkward but now they've got it to a very solid level of quality across boarders.
