It's not a furry comic. It wasn't made for furries.

What makes most furry comics bad is that they focus on the furry appeal instead of the story because those comics were made to be shared with furries because sharing "art" is a popular thing in the community.

Aaron makes comics because he likes to make comics and tell stories, he has been doing it since before Endtown. He also likes to draw cartoony animals but not because of the furry fandom, he just does.

The thing is Clive was not entirely an object, he was a person that was talking to everyone and there was precedent of a PT brain being taken from one body to another, having his mind unlocked and becoming an Endtown citizen. Okay, I wouldn't have put it so harshly, but you're essentially correct. Despite everything, thing might just not work out with Wally & Holly. No biggie, that doesn't automatically mean that he has nothing more to do with her.

Holly desperately needs to step up, admit she has a problem, and work to deal with it. Remember Marx's cryptic comment to her about letting go of her past. Kirbee has NOTHING to do with Holly's problems (that comes straight from Aaron), but Holly's pride is tripping her up. She's not a bad person; far from it. But she's become one of those friends you know that tries to 'fix' everyone elses lives, rather than dealing with her own problems...

Just noticed something. They all jumped, then on the 6th you can see them starting to shift into a sitting position. None of the other guests seem to notice anything the least bit odd about their appearance.

I'm starting to think they've actually been sitting in the restaurant since just before Wally and Kirbee started making out, and the ditto's are making them appear human. Which would explain why the waitress appears disturbed.

So I still think there is am intelligence at work here but it could also be dittos/holodeck delivering what the subconsciously or consciously request.

They were hungry so food appears.
They suspect a trap so one manifests.

Whenever the Dittos Wally took with him from Endtown meet another collection of Dittos their powers seem to increase exponentially. When they were first established with Sparkplug the Dittos were incapable of being tangibly bothered, or maintaining a form that maintained weight and mass.

When they were added to the Unity Dittos they suddenly were able to form solid mass in their illusions, and after Unity could be molded to suit the needs of the traveling party as transportation.

So right now we're at a point of growth where, with these Dittos, including them to another massive cluster expand their illusory abilities possibly to reality warping levels at most, or completely immersive and believable illusions at least.

I've seen it mentioned plenty of times before on cripplechan, but then again there might be some overlap between the two userbases (like this guy here, though I really only go on there for a niche reason). Even then I'd agree that, yes, it's a comic which deserves more attention than it gets. It's one of the most engaging, actually interesting, and well-written webcomics I've read, the creator isn't a hack, and the creator has more than enough prior knowledge to understand what's necessary to drive the narrative and what isn't.

this still baffles me, i have never been so engaged in by comic before, and i have never cared more about fictional characters like i do for most of the endtown ones... even cunty.

maybe, there is some fan service yes, but is it enough? not sure...

the author also doesn't engage in social media like some other authors do (tumblr for lack of better example) nor is active in the furry fandom, maybe this has something to do with that aswell.
