They were justified. It doesn't even sell that well digitally. Those trade sales have got to be really good to start making up for these shitty floppy sales.

But look on the bright side, so many books dropped like 4-7k because they didn't have a variant this month and lots ANAD books are losing like 70% of their sales 3 issues in, whereas Omega Men dropped ~500.

I'm wondering how much Monstress is going to be seen boosting Image sales. Issue two went to second printing in a little over a week.

It varies. 1989 film helped increase Batman comics sales (Grant Morrison got lucky and got a huge check out of Arkham Asylum cause it was out a few months after the movie, for example) and the Watchmen film drastically increased sales on the TPB, and sales increased on Walking Dead when the show happened.

I don't think it had much effect on Marvel's comics for some reason or other. Closest was when the first Sony Spider-Man was out, around that time orders of Spider-Man comics increased.

Even then, the numbers aren't that accurate but at least you can tell that a certain amount of people actually bought the issue.

Not really. They got rid of the marriage to go back to classic status quo. It didn't do well. Sales went up when the status quo was shook by having Ock in place of Peter for a short time (but if it went on any longer it wouldn't surprise me if sales go down).
