Is mayonnaise a disney film?
The reason Pixar/Disney when so often is huge ignorance on animation for much of the voting audience. It's likely the only animated movie they see, and most people's skills and knowledge base have absolutely nothing to do with animation.
However Kaufman is likely a film they will go see, and it's more mature themes might take them by surprise.
>The Oscar of Animation was created because the academy thought that giving an Oscar of best Film for an animation was insulting to the people who tried hard on the other movies.
Reminder that you can literally pay to attend both the ceremony and the afterparty. I keep hoping some autist does this and gets spaghetti all over the people who actually deserve to be there.
That way I don't have to do it.
