Pic so fucking related.
Eject ALL Spiders from 616 continuity except:
Miles, Gwen, and Miguel need to leave. Miguel gets his own ongoing and Miles/Gwen fuck off or die or whatever. Silk is vaporized by Dr. Doom because.
>merged the universes
That's retarded, what happened to the Ultimates and Ultimate Spider-Jessi?
What about Ultimate Aunt May?
There are enough Spiders in Eath-616 as it is, and Gwen is probably the last one I want to move over. It's bad enough that she can now jump from one universe to another and back again whenever she feels like having coffee with someone that doesn't exist in her own universe.
>I thought he got merged with 616 cause his universe exploded or imploded or something.
No, it imploded because they wanted to merge it with 616 so they didn't have to say "sorry, black Spider-man failed"
I think - and I may be wrong about this - that Pete is at most 29 at that point. I remember him saying something about how amazing it is to be a CEO of a huge tech company pre-30.
Meanwhile Gwen is at least 18. There was a big fuss from certain people after Gwen was shown in a bar, because they assumed 'teen' meant 13-17.
No, Spider-Gwen was alright for a mini-series, but she's annoying and needs to go away
Maldar an Inhuman from a what if
>There was a big fuss from certain people after Gwen was shown in a bar, because they assumed 'teen' meant 13-17.
That's stupid. One of the first things they established of the character was that she had graduated high school but wasn't really doing anything with her life other than her band, which she kept flaking on because of superheroing. Her dad wanted her to go to college but she's all "muh band/muh peter" and didn't.
Anon, people don't read comics. It's all just people reading out of context panels then getting really overemotional about them and failing business men over ordering comics so they can have a chance of selling an overpriced variant.
>for some reason.
They have to keep a trademark up, which means having to keep publishing a comic called "The Ultimates" which is hard when you've blown up the Ultimate Universe. So they just repurposed the name for a new, unrelated team.
Works for me. I'd rather have "the Ultimates" than "The Fantastic Avengers/Cosmic Avengers/Marvelous Avengers" or whatever dumbass Avenger derivative they would have gotten otherwise.
