What's a good Daredevil reading list? r/geeks said this was the best place to ask. Thanks!!!
I curse you to meet with small failures, disappointing but not so discouraging that you won't try and fail again, in all of the things you care about the most in your life.
>>78818642
All of it
Even silver age
>>78818642
>>78818790
I don't like the old stuff...it's really boring
is there a new point that's good to start? Also something starring Wesley would be cool too
>>78818892
#168 is when Miller Starts writing keep going forward maybe skip Chichester and McDaniels run
>>78818936
Thanks!! Is there somewhere online to read it?
>>78818961
Its on Marvel Unlimited, or there's always torrents
>>78818892
What do you consider old? Because DD's best stuff was in the 80's
Is Waid's DD any good?
>>78818642
Daredevil is one of the few characters that has consistently good runs. Even Bendis which I hate wrote good DD. You're pretty safe with whatever you get
>>78819068
That age where it's bad art, too much writing
>>78819074
I didn't care for it, but I only like Miller and Nocenti
>>78819116
> bad art
Silver Age Daredevil had Gene Colan for most of the era, plus Wally Wood
When the fuck is the suit gonna be red?
>>78819216
is there just a good modern (after 1998) run thats easy to get into?
>>78819249
Hopefully by the end of season 2
>>78819300
Waid's daredevil is from 2011 till 2014, it's pretty cool
>>78819300
Believe me it's all good but the best Daredevil stuff was in the 80s, but if you don't want that your best bet would bebthe Bendis/Maleev run
>>78819375
The Bendis/Maleev run starts at v2 #26 and you definitel want to read that before you read Waid's run, but I have a feeling that wherever you start you'll get hooked, its a consistantly solid written book with a couple of exceptions like Chichester or Diggle
>>78819509
got a link?
A better question would be: Which Daredevil runs should I avoid? Because I honestly think that Daredevil is one of the few characters who has one solid run after the other.
>>78819074
Up till the Ikari reveal

>>78819538
Diggle seems to be the only bad one, but I get some kind of fucked up enjoyment from even Shadowland.
>>78819538
Chichester, Diggle, and most say Guardian Devil but I didn't think it was that bad and it contains a life changing event in Matt's life
ask him to make the costume red.
>people are actually giving answers
A real fuckin disappoint to me, /co/.
>>78819840
fuck off /co/ is love
>>78819840
Don't be a faggot
We don't get threads about Daredevil comics very often
>>78819840
Is this you anon?
>>78821456
Fat Man Logan should be in the 616
>>78818892
Daredevil v2 #1. Written by Kevin Smith, art by Quesada.
>r/geeks
>Hasn't read any Daredevil
>I don't like the old stuff...it's really boring
I swear on me mum I thought this was a b8 thread. Why would anyone go to /wsr/ when you can be this much of a faggot and still get recs?
>>78821911
It was a bait thread. But we've been starved for a good Daredevil thread, so we take what we can get.
>>78818642
Read Miller. Like, if there's ONE RUN to read, it's Miller.
However, Daredevil is consistently good to great. Bendis and Smith wrote pretty good runs, Brubaker and all were great, Waid was fucking awesome.
>>78819840
>REEE NO SPOONFEEDING REEEE
The same worthless bastards who complain about live-action threads probably also complain about this. If we listen to these dumb cunts we'd have a dead board in a week.
>>78827403
It's not that, it's the fact that this thread was clearly started as bait.
>>78824080
Thisnis accurate
Is the Miller/Janson run before the Miller/Mazzuchelli run in reading order?
>>78828838
Yes
>>78819074
It starts out as a refreshing change of pace but overstays it welcome by volume 4
>>78827456
and you complain when they don't take it?
