No one knows what you're talking about
>>
>>78814165

Guts wouldn't gank randoms.
>>
>>78814165
What's Guts doing there?
>>
>>78814165
>>78814963
Guts from Sword of the Berserk.
>>
>>78814994
Getting gang banged probably.
>>
>really hype for Necropolis
>turns out to be fuck all like the actual preview comics
>>
>>78814165
Guts from Berserk and Woodchuck from Record of Lodoss War.
>>
>>78815226
And the main dudes armor looks like Ike when he was a ranger.

I'm actually a bit disappointed no one else recognized Woodchuck right away.
>>
>>78814165
What, you mean Woodchuck and Guts?
>>
>>78815275
Hmm is that good? Never heard of it before
>>
>>78815275
How many teenage girls could Woodchuck rape if Woodchuck could rape teens?
>>
>>78815346
I'd recommend it if you like classic-style adventuring fantasy.
>>
>>78815385
I fucking love it assuming it doesn't have an elf and a dwarf arguing and poking fun at each other because HERF DERF YOU LIVE UNDERGROUND WE LIVE IN TREES DUDE DIFFERENCES LMAO.
Hate that shit.
>>
>>78815414
There's a male dwarf character and a female elf character but they didn't interact much. The elf-girl was more a love interest and the dwarf interacted more with the cleric dude. Though it's been a while since I saw it so I might be forgetting some stuff.

This is a good example of a comic that should not have started with an origin story. Despite the art being excellent and the character design being on-point, the actual comic has managed to be a lot worse than the short comics he used to hype it up.

Those preview comics were extremely impressive. They were short and varied but had a great tonal consistency and promised an exploration of a weird, dead world by a mysterious MC without much exposition. The actual comic has been nothing like that - it's been filled with exposition and we are immediately explaining the origins and powers of the MC without getting the weird dead stuff that was so interesting.

It's like the author saw those previews as teasers that had to be elaborated on, when actually they were teasers that people just wanted more pages of that comic right the fuck now. It isn't helped by its update frequency and the various changes because of the irritating formatting of the read-through on the comic's website. I know Jake Wyatt was looking at print and other mediums before confirming this would be online, so I think he's struggled to figure out exactly how he wants to do this story and unfortunately that means it's started as much weaker than the sample comics showed it to be. I am still hopeful and will still be reading but I worry about whether the comic will ever hit those beats as effectively now that we're having this intro.

I'm trying to think of the counterpart to this that wasn't afraid to start things off with a bit of mystery and worked better for that. Battling Boy is maybe an example. In terms of a novel, Use of Weapons is a good example because it's a very good sci-fi novel that would have been a mediocre/good sci-fi novel if the author had stuck to a conventional plotting and structure.

the talking guy also looks like corkus
>>
>Making Guts some random unscrupulous thug
>Killing him

I'm so mad I'm going to cry on my blog.

Really though, don't be disrespecting my Gutsfu
>>
>>
>>78815872
Same.
Gatsu has already been through enough. No need to drag his name through the mud like this.
>>
>>78815872
>>78815924
It's a bit silly the bandit leader insults her for having a ridiculous sword when he has a teen kid with an even more ridiculous sword right beside him.
>>
>>78815681
It's meant to be Woodchuck from Record of Lodoss War. :>>78815275
>>
>>78815872

Guts was a victim of rape and abstained from doing so himself when he came close. He would never stoop so low and Orson the berserker from Lodoss War was a softy with a heart of gold who's only wish was to shed the spirit of rage which governed his mind when pressed into emotional struggles so he could protect the girl he loves.

Woodchuck was just a dick-ass-thief though, a well-meaning dick, but still a dick.

Your a funny guy
>>
>>78816042

So is the author implying men are all rapists regardless of their history or temperament?
>>
>>78814165
Belle?
>>
>>78816042
It's just a fun little cameo acknowledging Jake Wyatt's influences. Not a statement on the original characters.
>>
>>78816091
>>78816042

Nobody is talking about rape, you mongloid pill heads
>>
>>78815275
Damn, I just thought it was Crokus.
>>
>>78815275
Oh yeah, the Wakamoto character.
>>
>>78814993
Guts ganked randoms all the time as part of the Band of the Hawk. I think he ganked 50 by himself one time.

>His woman is STILL broken.
>His manga is on hiatus AGAIN.
>His new anime looks like garbage.

Might as well just put him out of his misery.
>>
>>78817175
At least Guts is off that fucking boat.
>>
>>78816948
Those hundred men attacked him first.

Of course, he also murdered a child in cold blood.
>>
>>78817874
It's so beautiful
>>
>>78817934
It most certainly wasn't in cold blood. He didn't mean to kill the kid, and he felt like a monster afterward. Honestly that was probably the beginning everything going wrong for him.
>>
>>78818145
Nah the beginning was when he couldn't analyse Griffith feels for him.
>>
>>78818145
Looks a bit like Griffith honestly.
>>
>>78818145
Im pretty sure the beginnning was when he was sold as a sex slave by his only father figure in his life
>>
>>78823637
Well if you got that route, it all went wrong when he was born by falling out of a corpse
>>
>>78814165
Guts ripped off that guys left leg in the third panel.
