I seem to be one of like three people who actually liked The Ultimate Book of Spells.
Yeah, it was a clear ripoff of Harry Potter, the animation wasn't all that great and the story itself was mediocre but...it held my attention more than other shows at the time.

That's kind of my point, he IS a jerk who ditches work and sleeps during it all the time but because Steven and Sadie enable him so much they bounce between praising him for no reason and being CRUSHED by his behavior when really he just does the same stuff he always does. The Care Bear Movies, along with the TV series when they were still drawn by hand, are surprisingly good/entertaining/bearable. It seems though they really dumbed the Care Bear adaptions though.

I didn't like ASM's new look for the Spider-Man costume at first, but after a while, it really grew on me and I actually liked it. I wish they had stayed with the costume instead of the one used in ASM2.

I'm still kind of upset at how cruelly Vlad was treated in the finale.
I mean...villain or not...being stranded in space is awful.

I think the funny episodes of Moral Orel are better than the serious ones.

Teen Titan Go is always funny on the first time watching. Though when your channel is 60 percent TTG it will get boring, but the first time watching it, I will always laugh.
The best jokes are when they reference the main show. The writers are purposely doing this for fans of the original.
I always love when they reference the real DC universe, like Cyborg spearing as his comic self in a time skip or when they make a joke at Night Wing and bat girl.

Not only that, but as the seasons went by he went from strongest villain, to complete joke. Danny would always struggle and ultimately lose to Vlad because it was teaching him to get better and showing the power gap between newbie and seasoned veteran. But then he started to just lose, not because Danny got better (he did) but Vlad became an utter idiot like the rest of the townsfolk.

I think Lars can be okay, as there's at least some effort so show he's more insecure than just a straight up dick, but Ronaldo's fairly hit and miss for me. He has his moments, but he's just a tad too over-the-top, and it doesn't look like he's going to change any time soon.

Ultimately the show does fairly well with character development but those two haven't had anything really resembling an arc.

You do know that people hate her because of her outright denial of the situation and the fact that the entire show bends over to her, right? She was willing to replace her brother with the drop of a hat, and was the one that caused the apocalypse, yet the show doesn't dare to call her out on these things. If Dipper had done either, he would've been shat on to no end, from every single character, in a humiliation conga. This isn't new either, it plagued the entire show, it's only a problem now because of the fact that the show is almost over and Mabel is one of the only main characters to have not gotten any sort of character development or growth. She's literally the exact same child from when the series started.
