Because I'm stuck in the goddamn hospital and need some kind of distraction...
>I just could never bring myself to like Sam...in fact, she sometimes ruined my enjoyment of the show.
I like Ronaldo as a character
Same with Lars
That's not an unpopular opinion. Sam is a mostly despised character in that show. The typical stuck up bitch in the form of a hipster pretend goth. Oh yeah and she's never accountable for her actions because, vagina.
Season 6 is pretty damn enjoyable
Some faggot on /co/ keeps making Asami threads literally every day and people keep comparing him to me.
I keep my autism hidden until its time to shitpost fucking thank you.
They're fully clothed your argument doesn't hold water
Besides its based off a story I am trying to finish before I post on here.
Yeah, nothing too bad though. I encountered an asshole who seems to think that stop signs are just there for decoration...
True...though I've found that, whenever discussing the show there's a 50/50 chance that when I mention I don't like her...someone will jump down my throat.
Lars literally does nothing wrong. Steven constantly fucks with him even though he doesn't want to hang out with him and he ends up hurt at the end of it and Sadie basically kidnapped him on an island so she can get in his pants. Sure he's a jerk and wants to hang out with popular kids but most of the time he undeservingly gets the shit end of the stick
You guys probably know this already, but this woman is the reason Danny Phantom was cancelled and Nick went downhill back in early 2006.
As soon as she became president:
>90s-early 00s shows were removed
>Shows like Avatar, Chalkzone, Jenny the waifu, The Xs, and Catscratch were treated badly
>Jenny the waifu was taken off the air in 2005, waiting three years before randomly airing the season 3 episodes (unlike in Asia which showed the S3 episodes in 2006-07)
>Chalkzone was also randomly taken off the air mid-season before airing the unaired episodes in 2008
>Catscratch and The Xs were cancelled after 1 season, rather than being given time to develop (yeah, I know not many people liked these ones)
>Avatar's third season was delayed by several months (supposed to air in May but instead aired in September), episodes were shoved around different timeslots when they finally came
>Nick Rewind block with 90s shows only lasted a few months before randomly being taken off
>SpongeBob had the "Best Day Ever" marathon where Karate Island was #1
>SB went into full-zombie mode as he started screaming and crying over everything, also more cruel humor (sqidward's toenail)
>Terrible shows like Naked brothers band, Back to the barnyard, and Tak and the power of Juju came on
>Spongebob and tweencoms were spammed every day for hours on end.
>Dan "The Man with the Master Plan to get her into My Van" Schneider basically controlled the network and turned it into the "soft porn for ephebophiles" network
It's sorta the thing like Lars is a jerk but at the same time no one thinks he's a jerk so they hold him to higher standards and are that much more crushed when he obviously doesn't live up to them. He's a little at fault, but it's disproportional because at the same time everyone enables him.
Nah it's pretty understandable. Things like making everything everyone literally eat dirt, encouraging abusing ghost powers to attack a car dealership because they're not fuel efficient, and being a marry sue.
>btw I'm secretly rich
>btw I'm secretly athletic
>btw I get the protag
It doesn't help that she seemed to love Fantom more than Fenton at times.
The only people who enable him are Steven and Sadie. Sadie's blinded by the dick and Steven's too nice to let go and it's still their own fault. Sadie should move on and Steven's told by Lars to fuck off, doesn't and then is surprised when Lars doesn't want him to be there and gets annoyed by him. Ranaldo did the smart thing and did his thing without Lars
I seem to be one of like three people who actually liked The Ultimate Book of Spells.
Yeah, it was a clear ripoff of Harry Potter, the animation wasn't all that great and the story itself was mediocre but...it held my attention more than other shows at the time.
That's kind of my point, he IS a jerk who ditches work and sleeps during it all the time but because Steven and Sadie enable him so much they bounce between praising him for no reason and being CRUSHED by his behavior when really he just does the same stuff he always does. He doesn't deserve the highs and doesn't deserve the lows either.
The Care Bear Movies, along with the TV series when they were still drawn by hand, are surprisingly good/entertaining/bearable. It seems though they really dumbed the Care Bear adaptions though.
I didn't like ASM's new look for the Spider-Man costume at first, but after a while, it really grew on me and I actually liked it. I wish they had stayed with the costume instead of the one used in ASM2.
Also, I think they should of have added the belt like the one in the videogame, it really adds to the costume.
Also, whatever you guys do, don't play the videogame for ASM 2, its shit. The only good thing about it is the fantastic detail and look to the costumes and the web swinging.
That's what I get for seeing so many puns on /wbb/. That and what seems to be my sudden fascination with anything having bears.
Speaking of Danny Phantom...
I'm still kind of upset at how cruelly Vlad was treated in the finale.
I mean...villain or not...being stranded in space is awful.
I'm not entirely sure how unpopular this opinion actually is but quite a few people have disagreed with me on it.
Legend of Korra fight scenes are underrated and Last Airbender fight scenes are overrated.
Korra fights are well made, but flashy and emotionally dead.
The entire show builds up to the Ang/Ozai and Zuko/Azula fights, and on top of looking fantastic, you're invested in what happens and actually feel emotions.
Totally refreshing design right down to the texture.
>I think they should of have added the belt like the one in the videogame, it really adds to the costume.
lost me here. The video game seems to give him bigger more "bug-eyed" lenses which I prefer.
Teen Titan Go is always funny on the first time watching. Though when your channel is 60 percent TTG it will get boring, but the first time watching it, I will always laugh.
The best jokes are when they reference the main show. The writers are purposely doing this for fans of the original.
I always love when they reference the real DC universe, like Cyborg spearing as his comic self in a time skip or when they make a joke at Night Wing and bat girl.
Phantom Planet was terrible. Vlad was an asshole but he didn't deserve to be treated that way at all.
I like to pretend that season three in general was some sort of fever dream that Danny had the day before Summer Vacation.
That's an unpopular opinion? She was fucking awful. I'm still mad about the beauty pageant episode where she claims women could be whatever they want, only to shame the women that want to win the pageant. They chose to be there, that what they wanted to do, you hypocritical bitch!
Why do people hate Ronaldo? I thought he was hilarious, but then again I probably missed an episode or two with his. Can't stand Lars though.
As far as I'm concerned, Marvel/DC died it's final death (from a creative and intellectual standpoint) in the year 2005.
That's was the year they went back on the rule of three characters who never come back from the dead. Bucky, Jason Todd and Uncle Ben.
>Under the Hood
>House of M (Uncle Ben still alive in that universe)
Personally i thought the weakest element of the show was Danny himself. Boring ass main character that i really couldn't give a shit about at all.
The girls are the ONLY reason to watch this show
Stan lee will not live too see 2018
also i dont care if he gets the most of the credit for characters like spiderman he actually took the initiative to make them more popular to a larger audience and put himself out there to the masses more. if anything he deserves all the credit.
I'd probably give it a 6, but you have to understand that /co/ will fawn over anything with a cute, and I use cute liberally, character in it.
It's not /co/'s fault, that's just its bag.
I can't find it in me to like Connie.
Is this even an unpopular opinion?
Mabel is just fine, people around here act like they wouldn't have done the same thing if they were in her position and attitude. literally one of her only friends/BEST FUCKING FRIENDS was going to stay in gravity falls for who knows how long to live and learn from LITERALLY the worst character in the entire show personality wise, and then having to go all the way back to Piedmont, alone, without a single fucking friend or ally with her, all her adventures with her now separated twin brother.
its like these people can't fucking put together 2+2 together
Not only that, but as the seasons went by he went from strongest villain, to complete joke. Danny would always struggle and ultimately lose to Vlad because it was teaching him to get better and showing the power gap between newbie and seasoned veteran. But then he started to just lose, not because Danny got better (he did) but Vlad became an utter idiot like the rest of the townsfolk.
I would call it "on the fence" if it comes to unpopular opinion. I'm not a big fan of Connie either. (I don't even see that much fanart of her compared to the other characters)
Granted, I don't hate her. She's an good character but only if she's interacting with Steven. The two have a dynamic.
eh fine. but the movie as a whole i just cant get why people liked it so much.
Rileys main story - 3\10 recycled & Predictable as fuck
The Joy and sadness story - 2\10 not interesting in the slightest literally worst characters
Fear, Anger, & Disgust - 6\10 Best parts of the movie.
Bing bongs story - 5\10 could have been better should have made him a bitter villain for being forgotten about.
I think Lars can be okay, as there's at least some effort so show he's more insecure than just a straight up dick, but Ronaldo's fairly hit and miss for me. He has his moments, but he's just a tad too over-the-top, and it doesn't look like he's going to change any time soon.
Ultimately the show does fairly well with character development but those two haven't had anything really resembling an arc.
>Korra fights are well made, but flashy and emotionally dead.
I would say it depends on the particular fight, but I did give Korra props for how it handled the Avatar State fight scenes.
One critique I had for the original series was that the Avatar State just felt like an instant-win button in the end, but in Korra's finale she has to rely on more of what she actually learned.
I guess I am.
Well, I just thought it was a nice thing to add since in the game, Spidey does an animation of changing his web cartridges automatically every now and then after using your web attacks or swinging, which I thought was neat, especially since I never saw in the ASM films him changing his cartridges at least once.
Kevin smith should be given atleast 1 major DC Or marvel movie to either Write or Direct.
You do know that people hate her because of her outright denial of the situation and the fact that the entire show bends over to her, right? She was willing to replace her brother with the drop of a hat, and was the one that caused the apocalypse, yet the show doesn't dare to call her out on these things. If Dipper had done either, he would've been shat on to no end, from every single character, in a humiliation conga. This isn't new either, it plagued the entire show, it's only a problem now because of the fact that the show is almost over and Mabel is one of the only main characters to have not gotten any sort of character development or growth. She's literally the exact same child from when the series started.
America should be outsourcing animation to other countries so we can get our shows faster instead of waiting years for them to develop new seasons at their own fucking leisure. I'm totally against outsourcing too; american jobs belong in america, but fuck, they need to speed shit up; that's how strongly I feel about it, that I becoming a walking hypocrite.
As far as I'm concerned, Mabel is not the bad morality wise, but she's terribly written.
Her only conflict is that things don't fall in line with her childish needy desires and it's always resolved with the world bending over for her.
Rick and Morty hit out of the park with certain episodes in season one. It's definitely overrated but it makes sense why everyone worked themselves into a hype frenzy. Season two woke up a lot of people though.
I hated the art style, premise, story, and characters.
I am probably the only person on /co/ that was glad to see it die.
The designs always seemed to me what you would end up with if you had canadian animation studios (ala Total Drama Island) try to seriously do older anime.
It is just a mess to me. I do feel bad for Gennedy though.
The writing killed it for me on second or third episode when I saw high school aged characters learning lessons from literally Barney.
Either way, I liked this show more when it was produced in Japan under name Full Metal Panic.
>new character introduced
>literally hundreds of idiots on tumblr "CLAIMING!" a character as trans sometimes before they have even said a word
One day I will learn to kill people over the internet. On that day I know where to start.
Not /co/ related, but similar. I'm pretty certain this is a joke tho...
I think the reason people get annoyed with Mabel is because everyone else's actions come with severe consequences while hers have practically none at all. Dipper has to learn lessons and make sacrifices, but Mabel just continues on her merry way.
>more punk/edgy than actual goth
>awful feminist morals
>le gaymer grrl
>had no female friends of her own whatsoever, a red flag in itself
>treated her loving parents horribly instead of trying to find compromise
>put that dumb logo on Danny's suit
What was there to like?
I dislike Connie too anon, I liked her the best when she was fangirling over her books ... because it was something she liked independently then Steven tried, not just something she copied from him
Clone Wars is overrated. It was darker than people were expecting from a show with Canadian-tier animation, but it ultimately came off sounding like a child who just learned about the term edge lord and ran with it.
its mainly trans kids who do that, and then their friends support them. i dont know why people are so shocked when those who dont have ample representation make their own, it's common sense that it would happen.
I really want to enjoy The Amazing World of Gumball more, but I just can't stand the main 2 characters enough, they're so fucking annoying and do the most cringe worthy shit. Most of the side characters are pretty good though
