It felt like a revenge film. The fact that Frank's family was actively targeted takes a lot of the tragedy out of his origin.

That said, Jane had a great voice and the XBox game is fantastic.

Every Batman version has 3 characteristics: he makes his own gadgets or if he needs help it's minimal, he is an excellent fighter who knows many martial arts and is an excellent tactician not relying solely on his physical characteristics, and he's one of the best detectives ever, barely needing any help from anyone else.

Does Nolan's Batman has anything of those? Of course not, and that's why he's shit and he's not a real Batman.

I recently watched it on Netflix. It always interested me as a kid but never got the chance to watch it since it was R. I forgot about it until last week and I decided to watch it. It's....okay. It really didn't feel like a Punisher movie but I thought it was entertaining.

Pros:
>I never got bored.
>I liked Frank's theme song.
>Thomas Jane was awesome as Frank.
>The action is good
>The cheese made it feel like a comic movie and it didn't feel "dark n gritty"

Cons:
>Travolta was over the top and comedic so I could never take him seriously.

I liked her more in the comic.
She was scared and mousy which is more personality traits than she has in the movie.
Also, she had one of the best pieces of dialogue with Frank in the entire comic. Something along the lines of
