You welcome anon.
Surprisingly good! am impressed and the art's not half bad.
when did Warren get Light wings? Is this old warren or young warren?
also you can tell they want to pimp Strange. First ironman now here.
Why does Dr. Strange have to be in everything nowadays?
Most people who read comics know who Dr. Strange is...you don't need to put him in books before his movie to let us know who he is.
How Kyle/Yost would have written this scene.
>Laura: Do you have eyes on the shooter?
>Warren: No, but I'm sure they're still in the tower somewhere.
>Laura: Okay. I will locate them.
>Warren: Um... you sure you want to take that off? You look pretty conspicuous.
>Laura: The chances of stealth infiltration have fallen to approximately 1%.
>Warren: Also, to them, you now look like you're talking to yourself.
thanks, I loved the Lui X-23 comic, so I've been morbidly interested in how this works out. Probably will destroy her character. But whatever, I'll just reread the Lui-Sana stuff (or Monstress) and wash it out of my mind
hmm, a 5/10 comic. Some great ideas with very poor execution. Also some poor ideas that were poorly done. Just not aweful.
Will continue reading now though (just not worth buying). Art could be better though. Does Marvel have any books with good art now?
>Does Marvel have any books with good art now?
Weirdworld also, but that's written by Humphries.
I actually like Sandoval's full 90s style in ... New...? Avengers
Vision is written fucking great. But the art is only slightly above average. I'm not blaming the artist on this one, I think either the inker or colourist is dropping the ball. Either that or Marvel isn't paying the colourist enough to make it dynamic enough.
But maybe that's some sort of bias by me, maybe they are going for a scrappy rusty look, and I guess a rusty colour scheme makes sence. Still not a fan of the art. Story is the best Marvel has right now though
maybe it will grow on me, sometimes it takes a few issues for the synergy of art and writing to grab me (hence, trades are better for this style of thing). Like I said, not giving up, one of the only good things to come from ANAD.
Karnak is appropriate and well done art, I give you that. Uncanny is terrible though. Don't care about Inhumans and don't know Weirdworld, has it been storytimed?
What the fuck! Did Marvel make Laura the new Wolverine? Holy shit, they don't know what to do with her. Now she's dressed in that ugly disgusting costume.
What she wore in the X-23 series was fine and so was her being X-23. Fuck them.
Y'know I shit on this when I read the #1 story time a while back because they all look like they have downs but that aside this is a pretty decent read so far. Nothing to write home about but something to read when I need something to read.
I wasn't that big on Walta at first. His art isn't as impressive as people you would see at cons doing commissions and such, but i feel like his style really works for the tone of stories like Vision or Magneto, nails some of the expressions too. That's kind of the other side of being a good artist I think, apart from your work just looking good at a glance.
it was the same with Shalvey for me (though i do feel like shalvey is definitely a better artist)
>tfw the only one who likes laura in the wolverine suit instead of her old costume
This page proves that gabby is best girl
Did you give any specific instructions to David about their looks? How do you like their character designs? (Personally, David Lopez is one of my favorites.)
Tom Taylor, writer of All New Wolverine
"Their looks were kind of defined by their personalities. And this is something I thought about a lot when coming up with them and discussed with X-editor, Mark Paniccia. Laura's personality has changed and evolved over time. I wanted each sister to reflect a part of Laura.
Her rage and impulsiveness and anger are all present in Bellona. Her maturity, icy calmness in the face of adversity and tactical abilities are seen in Zelda. The sister lost in issue #1 was driven but fatalistic, another aspect of Laura we've seen in the past. Gabby is a little different. Gabby represents what Laura could have been -- what all the sisters could have been."
