I still cringe at how much of an obsessive fangirl I was over Anakin. I thought he was just misunderstood and DAMAGED and he just needed the right person to help him. Like, I was just straight up in love with him and kinda frustrated that he wasn't real. And I wasn't a 13 year old weeb or anything, I'm pretty much a normie and it was four years ago when I was 16 and first started watching Star Wars.
And no, it wasn't the Clone Wars verison, it was the whinny "I Hayden sand" verison.
I still have flashbacks.
We've all been there with cringeworthy things to remember, anonette.
>I thought he was just misunderstood and DAMAGED and he just needed the right person to help him
That explains it anon, all teenagers are retards. You just learn to grow out of it at some point.
What were your thoughts on this and his whole wooing of Padme?
>tfw just finished rewatching TWC
>that arc with Fives trying to figure out whats wrong with Tup
How many times have you seen pic related? 2 times for me and tomorrow will be the third and last.
>thought he was just misunderstood and DAMAGED
He was but at the same time every thing bad that happens in ROTS was Avoidable.
Also people need to let the sand thing go, its not funny and it ignores the context.
Twice so far, 2d on the thursday premiers and IMAX on that sunday.
I wanted to see it last weekend again but it was super late and I was out voted. I know my friend has seen it 3 times at least and might see it more.
>implying the sand wasn't planned from the start.
think about it anon, where did they send the plans to the death star in order to keep them out of vaders hands? a planet made of SAND.
Twice, not because I wanted to, but because a friend of mine didn't see it and we went together.
Ideally my second time would have been at the super special exclusive IMAX version that is in limited places across the country.
He didn't know how to interact with peiole, especially girls, because he had been so sheltered for most of his life by the Jedi order, and a slave the other half.
I... I thought it was kinda cute...
I've been waiting for that arc since I began watching the show. Tragedies like this where you watch the heroes try to rise on top but us knowing everything they're doing is in vine are the best. Watching Fives find out the truth and the viewer wanting for him to make it out all right and for everyone to figure out how far back this goes, just for us to deep inside know that they're all utterly doomed is is absolutely tragic in all the best ways.
I want at least one member of the Resistance/Rebellion to be really cynical towards Luke when he "returns to save the day" in Episode 8. There's got to be some bitterness about him not only up and running away but also failing to prevent Ben's fall.
This one, it's the last one.
Yup, it's up there for my favorite arc of the show.
My dad showed my younger brothers Star Wars for the first time when I was 17. The same thing happened to me, but with Han.
I had a Han folder on my computer.
I did things with it.
Harrison was about 69 irl...
Neat. My ideal Episode 7 poster is just a horizontal shot of Rey holding the lightsaber right at the very end of that fight. Either art or a shot from the movie. It was just a great pose/expression/lighting. All of it.
I eventually decided it was too risky to keep it on my computer and decided to back my folder up on a flash drive.
Now, keep in mind I wasn't a reclusive middle schooler either. I was almost a legal adult and sort of popular at school.
It was an 8 GB drive and most of the images were jpegs.
I used up the whole thing.
All of it.
I wish I had gone to the showing when they were giving away this one. I guess I could buy one on ebay though.
>It was an 8 GB drive and most of the images were jpegs
How the heck did you find 8 gigs worth of Han? You must've scoured the galaxy for those pictures
Probably gave you a rush when you found something new, huh?
Assuming it's all 3D, how the hell do 8 GBs worth of fappable Han images even exist? And you said they were all jpgs? The entire original trilogy in mp4 format doesn't even take up 8 GB.
I should have said tedious, rather. It doesn't take long at all, but when
you're browsing and find 20+ of images that aren't in any sort of album, it takes time away from what I wanted to do.
The First Order hires you to construct a fourth and perfect Death Star for them. This time no one should be able to destroy it, no matter what they try. How would you do it?
>Ship and ship name
The Tyrant Titan: a customized Venator-class with a variety of smaller ships, fighters, and freighters
>Four crew memebers(one waifu)
A kaminoan, a Herglic, a retired clonetrooper, and a Pantoran girl for my waifu.
The Zillo Beasts
a base on some sort of remote, inhospitable snowy ice planet like Hoth or Ilum. Interior based on Kaminoan interiors but with the colors switched(primarily black with white panels and stuff)
It all makes perfect sense when you think of it from Padme's perspective. He's hot, he gives her an in with the Jedi, and he's obviously emotionally infantile, so you get to move in all Oedipal-like and take control of a fairly valuable asset.
She just didn't bet on the whole force choke thing.
>ywn cuddle with Hera.
LIFE IS NOTHING BUT PAIN.
Why isn't there a Star Wars: Imperials tv show?
No, but is it bad that Han dying actually gave me a very slight sense of relief? As if a dark chapter in my past was finally over?
...Poe's kinda hot But at least this time it's probably the actor I'm attracted to and not the character.
Maybe it's time for you to stop posting
He's asking if Sabine (asian looking female with multicolored hair) is sleeping with Ezra (kid whose background is superficially similar to Anakin's, but lives on a planet that resembles Kansas rather than Tatooine).
>glad that a fictional character is dead because it means you can finally get over obsessively masturbaiting to that character
And people say women aren't crazy.
I've heard that some of the AMC's have a bunch leftover and if the people working there are nice they'll let you take one of each if they have some from prior showings. I'm hoping the one I'm going to does.
Dark Disciple. It happened off screen because the episodes that it happened in weren't animated prior to the Disney buy-out. But, they were far along enough in production that the story was recycled into a book.
Where there any animation reels like Utapau or Bad Batch arcs? Because I'm watching those and they are amazing. I hope these get animated officially sometime seeing as they're canon and everything already and just embarrassing presently.
No, they didn't get past making scripts and securing the plot for the episodes. Same thing with the Son of Dathomir episodes that turned into the comic, which actually happens half way through Dark Disciple, apparently.
So I'm plowing through TCW and I love it. It really scrapes away the shittiness of the prequel trilogy and gives a bit of coherence to the world. Should I bother watching Rebels or is it far too childish?
It's almost as if his fat phase never happened and he just slid into foxy grandpa mode
He really needed this and I'm glad he took full advantage of it
I know he hates the beard but he should really consider keeping it, it almost makes him younger
>Yfw Nines will likely get an EU comic
I liked TCW series because even though it seemed childish and cartoonized to me at first, it quickly became pretty dark, or at least not shy of having some pretty brutal scenes. Like that one scene where the fish guy stabbed Dooku's agent with a bomb-knife thing and fish guy got showered in his meat bits.
does the rebels show have anything that dark, or is it a show where nobody really dies and eveything has a good ending even for the bad guys?
There's not enough Rebels R34. Where is my Hera, Ahsoka and Sabine threesome? WHERE?
>or is it a show where nobody really dies and eveything has a good ending even for the bad guys?
>has a good ending even for the bad guys?
No, anon, just no. The only people that do get to live are the main cast, everyone else not so much.
Well of course I'd have a bunch of droids and automated systems to handle the running of the ship and the defense systems. But they're not really part of the crew.
The two comic relief imperials get beheaded when Tarkin comes, Kanan gets tortured, and the Imperial minister tries defecting and gets blown up.
>where nobody really dies and eveything has a good ending even for the bad guys?
The Imperials die on this show, usually by other Imperial hands. A fan favorite was beheaded and the other one willingly fell into an exploding reactor core to not face Vader's wrath. Another Imperial favorite was caught in a shuttle explosion to be used as a false flag operation to paint the rebels as bloodthirsty killers.
Same people made a mockumentary about the life of Stormtroopers
It was supposed to be 7 parts but they only ever made 2
>ywn have a cute togruta daughter.
Man, reality sucks.
Will we ever see Female Stormtroopers on the show or will they all just be Steve Blum
It was okay. Not amazing, but I don't regret reading it. Half of the enjoyment comes from Chewie doing shit that doesn't make immediate sense because nobody in the story can understand him and nothing he says is translated for the audience.
We never saw the body anon
She could still be alive
I'll be honest.
She really was half the reason I kept watching the show, and when she said she'd join the rebels? Oh my God I was so happy.
Why must you hurt me so, Disney?
I'll have the Seventh Sister for a while, won't I?
>Surely Buffy won't die so soon...
Never doubt Filoni's boner in having killed fan faves, she might last a while but I'm not holding out any hope.
No anon, Filoni changed the scripts to have her die instead of Governor Pryce.
You'd think so, but precedent has been set
>She will never join the crew of the Ghost
>She will never be left on the ship to do logistic work while the team is on a mission
>She will never listen to their stories of all their exciting adventures when they get back
>She will never be need on a mission and have an adventure of her own
No matter how hard you may try, even if you already have someone you love, you will never land a qt like Daisy.
>yfw no qt padawan to call you 'master'
Anybody have this Rey wallpaper I'm not even sure exists?
It was Rey from behind, staring at the sunset of Jakku, staff in hand. Rey wasn't the main focus of the image and sometimes I recall BB-8 at her side, but I'm not sure if that's just faulty memory.
>You will never keep Daisy locked up in your basement letting her out only to shoot Ep 8 and 9, and then kill her after she's done shooting so that she can remain pure and not be involved in any damaging Hollywood scandals.
Does that look like Clone Legacy to you?
It was my first transformers. I was actually turned off when they went back to Cybertron and resumed normal Transformers shit because it wasn't what I knew.
Waspinator a best
There's no IMAX theater nearby, so I knew nothing about these until a few days ago. I love all of them, but the Poe poster especially.
Anybody order Disney Movie Rewards' exclusive poster set? I got the Rey and BB-8 one for free with shipping, but didn't care enough to pay an extra $20 or so for the other two in the set.
The Poe poster is great. Honestly I think I like them all pretty evenly accept for the Phasma one but that's just because Phasma wasn't a big part of the movie. The art of the Phasma poster is fine though.
Well, I was going to post the larger version that actually came from IMAX's site and suggest you get it printed yourself, since that was likely IMAX's intent with posting such hi-res images, but 4chan is claiming that my larger file is just a duplicate of yours.
I started reading the Darth Vader comics and just realized Chopper and BT-1 are pretty much the same, except BT-1 has a lot more weapons
and Chopper has a much higher kill count.
I'm not great with doing shit like this in photoshop but here.
>mfw TR-8R gets added to Galaxy of Heroes
Just got through the first chapter of Lords of the Sith. It's got me hooked. Vader is a god damn force of nature
I like to think that chopper is actually an old buzz droid brain someone shoved into an astromech chassis when they needed a cheap droid. It really explains how he knows how to quickly disable the vital systems of a ship from the outside, as well as his murderous tendencies.
It's an easy mental illness they can use to feel sorry for themselves, autism is thrown around on tumblr just like it is here on 4chan, but in their case it's used to deflect blame or some shit.
>Says something completely stupid and unfounded
>Has a profile that says you're autistic
>Can't be held accountable for your actions
Season 2 episode 7, Stealth Strike.
The Rebels come across the Imperial Interdictor, a ship about the size of a Star Destroyer with gravity wells that can pull targeted ships out of hyperspace. Chopper sabotages it so it pulls in all ship around it, and two cruisers end up smashing into the thing before it explodes in a giant green nuclear fireball. There were probably thousands of people on the Interdictor. And Chopper killed them all. To compare: the rebels probably don't get a kill of this scale until the fucking Death Star.
>TR-8R in the streets
>B8-TR in the sheets
I was eyeing that earlier, but decided to order a hardcover copy of A New Dawn that I found extremely cheap instead. Also grabbed Before The Awakening a few nights back.
It's its own thing, the same people that made TCW is in Rebels so that's a plus, but the budget is limited due to Disney being a bunch of cheap bastards and the fact Lucas isn't giving about a million dollars of his own money into it.
The Story itself is different than TCW as well, it's not about Galactic Warfare and fighting off the bad guys because the Bad Guys(Sheev and Vader) won. It's about a group of people trying to live in a Totalitarian dictatorship and becoming more than just regular scum.
I'll admit, I was put off at first by the first few pics and preview clips. I thought it was going to take the whole fallout of the galaxy after the Empire's takeover too lightly and cartoony.
And then we get discussions about murder and genocide.
And then we see some dead Jedi. Then Tarkin shows up. “Make no mistake. From now on, failure will have consequences.” Then Ahsoka and Vader show up. Then the consequences of Order 66 and the Clones comes in.And we get some extra harsh reminders that the galaxy is not kind, it's not gentle, and people are suffering and dying under the Empire's rule.
What it feels like is this initially silly and campy-looking show based on A New Hope concept art is turning into an exploration of the consequences of the prequel trilogy and the Clone Wars series, and how it all ties together to the original trilogy, and it's kind of brilliant. I went from being "meh" about it to genuinely enjoying it.
I wish to fuck prime Luke while getting fucked by grandpa Luke
Rebels is very good on its own merits. If you go in expecting CW's complex story arcs, you're going to be disappointed, but it's a case of apples and oranges. Rebels doesn't want to be CW, it wants to be its own thing. Clone Wars was the story of the war, and it shifted focus between several different casts to show just how vast and all encompassing the conflict was. Rebels is about a small group of freedom fighters up against the Empire in its infinite might, so it'd make sense for it to keep all the focus on the main cast.
Bottom line: Clone Wars was 8/10, Rebels is probably a 7 at the moment. I'd recommend both of them.
>four years ago
On the bright side, it could've just as easily been Edward Cullen. You dodged a bullet there.
This. I like this.
The creepy as fuck thing about the entire affair was that she was, visually, a grown woman (Lucas: "She's 14, really. I swear it's not pedophilia!") apparently into a 9 year old brat.
And then you have George dressing his daughter up as a Twi'lek dancer, too...
Legit good. The most waifuable character (Hera) is hilariously enough one of the most well-developed ones. If you need any further incentive, think of it as KYLE KATARN and JAN ORS, the series.
Rebels is all kids show until Vader shows up. Vader is literally the grim fucking reaper in this show. When he's on screen, all best are off, people get executed, good guys lose and main characters suddenly lose their plot armour. If the show didn't have Vader, it'd be bad, but I love how they're using him. He's the off switch for protagonists. He's the guy who will just fucking destroy you after killing everyone you care about.
As the other anon said, it's possible his droid brain doesn't entirely match his chassis; or he's one of the reconfigured soldier astromechs from the droid squad TCW episode (It would also explain how R2 knew how to play along with him on sight). He kind of looks like one of them. Personally, my favourite chopper moment is when he bumps the "rival astromech" out of the ship. That started his descent to HAL-tier.
>and Chopper has a much higher kill count.
Holy shit you are right. BT-1 has cleared out rooms of people but Chop has taken down whole ships all on his lonesome.
Really late to this party but> 78759969
The question is did Dooku really believe the Clone Wars had an endgame he could survive? The answer is of course and for a number of reasons.
The most Sithlike survival was his plan to murder his Master and become the new top Sith. He was doing this by a number of means, including training Ventress not just as his Sith assassin but his Secret Sith Apprentice™. Meanwhile Sheev had been secretly doing the same with Anakin, molding him over decades and subtly poisoning his Jedi training with concepts of anger, revenge, and desire. After Ventress was ordered killed by an angry Sheev, Dooku's next apparent strike was at the Republic military conference in the infamous Meebur Gascon arc. A successful strike would have destroyed the top Republic naval commanders and, bonus points, Anakin, his future replacement. This could have been a serious enough blow that without their top Jedi Generals and Naval command the droids could have won the war. Sheev could have been executed for war crimes and Dooku would be King Bitch of the Galaxy.
But there is no reason to believe the Clone Wars needed Dooku dead. Their primary goal, behind the power they amassed in the war, was taking out the Jedi. We saw in TCWs how the Jedi were suffering in the public perception, believed to be prolonging the war if not outright responsible. There were even protests against them.
Destroy the Jedi and afterward announce that the CIS and Dooku were merely responding to secret Jedi transgressions in the Outer Rim. They hold a grand reunification of the CIS and Republic, droid forces standing with Clone Troopers, Dooku receiving a medal and special position as Vice Chancellor and Sovereign of the Outer Rim Territories - subject to Sheev's rule, of course. Even if anyone in the CIS objects to the rise of the new Empire they can't face two combined armies, especially when they'd been letting one of those armies fight for them. The galaxy was war weary too.
>The creepy as fuck thing about the entire affair was that she was, visually, a grown woman (Lucas: "She's 14, really. I swear it's not pedophilia!") apparently into a 9 year old brat.
Not a /ss/ fan, huh?
I get that but he wasn't executed well IMO.
His dark side motives needed more explanation. Not to spell out every little thing, but at least explain why he's doing it despite Vader's redemption which he doubtless knows about.
Then there's the temptation of the light thing which is telling instead of showing, he doesn't do good deeds to offset the bad, to show he's really conflicted. Having Hayden show up only to be ignored would have worked wonders, even if fans hate him.
And JJ expects us to care about the father/son thing despite them not having any screentime together through flashbacks and stuff. Vader/Obi-Wan was alright because it was standard wizard/monster or teacher/student stuff, family is more intimate.
TLDR he was rushed like all the characters.
Although Brigadier General Gascon and his squad are legendary Republic heroes, Chopper is a mechanical entropy elemental.
This, in fact I imagine a large part of the plot will be Leia being angry at Luke for not being there. In fact seeing as Luke went into hiding because of his apparent failure with Ben I imagine he'll be very cut up throughout the movie.
What did you honestly expect in a two hour long movie? JJ had to establish the new characters, a new threat and somehow introduce the new heroes to the old characters without taking away too much of their screen time. Sure, I would have loved to hear more about Kylo's fall to the dark side or about the state of the galaxy, but this isn't Lotr.
Both the OT and the PT were pretty much made up by Lucas as he went along. At least this time we know that these questions will all be answered in the next two movies.
Unmanned droid hyperdrive missiles.
Develop multiple versions at separate installations. If they wind up similar or the same it doesn't matter. Have multiple facilities capable of producing them, and make sure the plans are widespread throughout the Order's infrastructure.
Make them small enough that they can be smuggled in ships to within launch distance, or fired from planetary orbit.
Congratulations, you've developed Star Wars nuclear missile equivalents instead of nuclear analogies.
Also from Japan: The original subtitles for ep 4
Lightsaber > Kousenken (light-ray-sword)
The Force > Riryoku (power of reason)
Jedi Knight > Kyouwakokukishi (Republic Knight)
So, is there like a baby-snatching arm of the First Order? How do they get these babies?
That does seem a very slow way to raise an army though.
I mean, if the First Order was a secret group of super-ninjas then it would make more sense but as a standing army? That's just a bit slow...
Why does he look so much like Ewan McGregor
Now there's a mouthful.
>All of Episode 8 goes by without Luke once taking out, much less using his lightsaber
>At the very end he's confronted by some Knights of Ren
>takes out his lightsaber
>"Oh man this is it!"
If you pay close attention to interviews she has made she has let out little snippets of how much of a cunt she is. Cutting off a shit tone of a people that were in her life once she got famous. I shit you not she basts about it. Also she has a mad crush of Bodega. A crush that is not returned, watch the Comicon panel. She mad flirts with him, he doesn't notice and you can see her "oh god did I just say that!?" face for a split second.
Who is to say that Luke isn't a Jedi? He's was the last student of the last pre-Purge Jedi.
I have no idea how that matters.
I will never meet her, so what does it matter?
>fanart leaves out her manly jawline
>tfw you will never unzip Hera's Jumpsuit while she tells you not to sniff her armpits, because she is all sweaty.
7.8/10 too much hatlessness.
Getting cut in half and sent thousands of feet to ones death usually doesn't leave a body, either.
Did they ever actually say how he survived that? Or was it just a "Hey, kiddies, remember how awesome Maul was? Well, he's back, and if you question it, we kill him again."
>Implying Kanan and Hera don't fuck like rabbits when the kids are on away missions
...I think I've found a favourite new artist.
I haven't seen it yet. This isn't me being 2cool4skool or something. I hate going to packed theaters, so I was going to wait till the week after. Then it was breaking records for weekdays so I figured I'd wait another week. Then holidays and other shit and I never got around to it and now people get offended when I tell them I haven't seen it.
At this point I'm tempted to go all the way and wait until it hits DVD. I'm not joking when I say people get offended, it's kind of hilarious.
>Rebels episode premieres in which Kanan finally bites it
>Everyone is completely distraught, Hera is barely holding everyone together
>That inevitable shit of Hera losing her composure and breaking down by herself, bawling
YOU JUST KNOW
I would rather say she's just daddy's little girl who also had a major FREEDOM boner like he was Twi'Lek William Wallace and now she wants to take it to a galactic level and Kanan is getting cucked until he falls to the Dark Side.
>All of Episode 8 goes by without Luke once taking out, much less using his lightsaber
>At the very end he's confronted by some Knights of Ren
>"Oh man this is it!"
throws off robe to reveal his Dark Empire outfit and ignites his green lightsaber
They totally could if they want to give some Vader exposition. Like the Ghost crew at this point still doesn't know who Vader is other than being a Sith. Maybe Cham could fill them in on who Vader is within the Empire.
And then yell the fuck at Hera for getting mixed up in shit against Vader.
Yikes. You think he'll get on her case for running around with Jedi?
I mean to him it probably makes no difference after the impression Vader left him with.
Damn and now you make me wish we'll get to see a post-LotS Moff Mors who got her shit together again.
General Windu, I'm freedom fighter.
So, did Fives death actually accomplish anything? All that struggle only to get shot like a dog. Almost made me sick.
But since Rex apparently made it out somehow, maybe it wasn't all in vain? Do they touch on any of that in Rebels?
Yeah, Rex, Wolffe and Gregor, all removed their chips, trusting Fives.
We know Rex was with Ahsoka during Order 66, so it's possible that she is only alive because of him and his chip removal.
There may be more Clones who removed their chips.
And lastly, Dooku had Kix frozen in Carbonite or something to stop him investigating the truth following what happened to Fives, so Kix is still hanging around somewhere.
I'm guessing it's where Snoke is.
>I'm guessing it's where Snoke is.
TFAVD says Snoke keeps his command mobile, so unless Rakata Prime is able to move like the Death Star, I doubt it. He's probably on some new Super Star Destroyer with the top echelon of the First Order.
Now that I know Chopper is a Walking Murder Can, I have got to know: What are the reactions of this from his friends and fellow crew? Like, are they chill with what he does??
Kix is alive by the time of TFA. He gets found by the Crimson Corsair and goes on treasure hunts for Dooku's old obscene wealth. Might as well seeing as everybody he knew is dead by then.
>It did nothing important for the Republic side
Who cares about the Republic, anyway.
Well, that's a relief.
>Dooku had Kix frozen in Carbonite or something
Is that in Rebels too?
Are you more bigger Luke or Luke prime? This may be the dumbest thing ever.
Commander has an ending, it's the start of the Battle of Tatooine.
It occasionally gets extra missions but I don't think these have had any importance except the one that re-introduced Death Troopers.
As for Uprising, well I think it'll just keep going forever until they lose support. The Devs say they hope it'll last throughout the new trilogy.
>Kix is alive by the time of TFA. He gets found by the Crimson Corsair and goes on treasure hunts for Dooku's old obscene wealth. Might as well seeing as everybody he knew is dead by then.
That's random as fuck.
Crimson Corsair is that guy with the red helmet Finn asked for work, right?
>Is there any evidence linking Anakin to Vader?
>Does the public believe Anakin did to Order 66?
Probably not, they never really seemed to care all that much about the Jedi.
>Is there any evidence linking Anakin to Vader?
Well there's the recording, which if anyone was smart (this is the Empire after all) they would delete. Obi-wan's got twenty years to be alone, I'm sure at some point he'd tell his Vader story to someone, the troopers that served with Anakin would say that they never attacked him in Order 66. But for hard evidence? No probably not. But Ahsoka doesn't need hard evidence, she just needs some inkling, and the force can dues ex machina everything else.
The majority of the galaxy has never seen a Jedi. In many of these places they're probably thought of as a myth or bed time story.
I'm sure there are some places in the galaxy at the time of Rebels that don't even know there isn't a Republic anymore.
>mfw people don't understand the sheer magnitude of Lucas's vision.
How do you like your ceramics pham?
P O T T E R Y
Well those are all rather unscientific.
I've seen it once, but our seats were terrible. We went to the first showing in the middle of the week and it was still so packed that we ended up two rows from the screen. I probably could've enjoyed it more if I'd had chameleon eyes or something. I'm planning to find a stream of the camrip to watch it "properly" in the near future.
Considering she states she was in the Imperial Academy on Mandalore and
apparently identifies herself as part of Clan Vizsla in some of the teasers that have gone around, she probably is more Mando than Jango or Boba is.
>She's just some chick with a mando armor
She is a Mandolorian, she was born and raised there, she's from Clan Wren under House Vizla and her bio's state she's Mandolorian. Quit being so fucking retarded.
>more Mando than Jango or Boba is.
with lucas fucking up the canon left and right you would have no idea, im pretty sure george him self isnt all that sure about the fett legacy.
