Expecting very little from this episode but at least AT's back and all the other episodes seem cooler than this one so whatever.

All Jake's kids are hot garbage but I at least think Viola is the least trashy so mite b cool.

Graham Falk is really weird, half the time he makes episodes I consider to be pretty good and enjoy (Shh, Root Beer Guy, Ghost Fly) and the other half the episodes are boring as hell or offensively bad (Sad Face, Cherry Cream Soda). Orgalorg was kind of right in the middle with some scenes that were good and others that were pretty crap.

Considering this episode is focused on another one of Jake's boring spawn I'm thinking it's gonna be Cherry Cream Soda 2: Now With More Weak-ass Side-characters Electric Boogaloo.

Well that was modestly enjoyable, pretty high praise for a modern AT episode.
Highlights were "Eng-Land" and Finn passing out and being really excited the play was over.

Viola was cool if a bit boring. Jake really seems to barely care about any of his kids. At least he went on a little adventure with TV I guess, with Viola they talk for like ten seconds and done.

Pretty cliched plot, at least they spiced it up a bit with LSP wanting to do it and Viola poofing her away.

Charlie's the only one who hasn't had an episode yet. We know very little about her.

This kind of suffers from the problem that lots of modern AT eps face: it's just too goddamn boring and slow.

If this thing had been made 3 or 4 years earlier with the same basic plot there would have been way more interesting jokes and gags and character interactions and stuff but those days are long gone.
Shit's just so boring most of the time now man.

Well because that would be unnecessary drama no one asked for, and it would be a dumb thing to do after giving Jake kids.
Now it was equally stupid what they did with Finn and all but still.

They see that drama with Finn as helping him develop as a character, and you can argue the logic of how they're doing that till the cows come home but that is why it's happening.

At any rate I remember Jeremy saying that he likes Finn and wants him to get a lady from some interview, so there's that. If he's watching the show I wonder if he's as disgruntled as the rest of us.

Plus, Kim just didn't "get" his dad. Kim was only a year old and running a successful business, had a bear wife, and a kid. Jake was the same age as Finn and hadn't really accomplished anything of note, was living in a treehouse, and a treasure hunter. I was almost jumping off the shark with the S6 finale, but S7 kinda saved it for me. It isn't the second golden age some people were hoping for, but a lot better than S6 and S5.2 overall. So it's probably exceeding my expects, I guess

It was decidedly pretty dull. At least Viola has a pretty nice voice and is sort of cool but that's about all it had.
LSP stopped being entertaining in anyway seasons ago and this is more her episode than anyone else's so yup.

The highlight of the episode is literally Finn being so bored he falls asleep.

why did viola resonate so deeply with me /co/? Her reserved yet determined attitude, matched with the cool collectedness of her voice and the subtlety of her dialogue, it all really struck a chord. Did anyone else feel this way? Definitely one of the stronger episodes in my books
