As far as I know it all started when someone on 4chan made an edit of one of his comics saying something sexist or something. People thought this was actually from Gunshow and then KC spoke up and said that he didn't make it and the edit was unfunny and awful which it probably was. And now we hate him.

Gunshow had really run its course. It basically started copying itself and trying too hard to be weird towards the end.

Who knows, but personally I'd bet KC was happy with the "on fire" image catching on. He seemed happy about dickbutt becoming a meme after all, and his art style seems designed to have mass appeal on the internet.

I liked it, I'm not sure why people didn't. It feels more like JTHM than Zim though. Probably because Zim didn't really do a lot of toilet humor, that was more Squee! and JTHM's thing. The most toilet humor thing about Zim I can remember is him going down the toilet and talking about "dookie".

This issue sucked. What I always liked about zim is although it was a comedy it had consistent world building and logic to it. Zim already has endless irked tech, why would he need plutonium and even if he did why would he try and BUY it? Also his human suits are usually fairly complex and high tech so why would he have some clockwork business man that takes two people to operate? The jokes about fast food were too random to be funny and came out of nowhere and none of the characters or props really matched the zim universe. I understand the logic and continuity flaws could be overlooked as jokes but they werent funny. The only good jokes were the corpse hand and the "I was pregnant" line, the rest was awful. I don't even know who kc is but I can already tell U don't like his humor styling or art

I usually like KC's stuff but this was just kinda mediocre. And the art just looks so fucking lazy. I remember actually liking the style of his old comics. Not sure what changed.

It has quite a legacy to live up to. The show was goofy as hell, but it had a really expansive atmosphere, probably just because it came from a room full of different writers all throwing ideas around. The comics don't quite have the same scope, even when they've had Zim & Dib travelling across galaxies. The approach is different, is all.

I didn't remember what the last issues art was like so I wasn't sure if I was imagining things or not. The whole thing reminded me more of a newspaper comic (not sure if it was the art or panels) so I kinda liked it.
