I probably didn't pay attention to when they first brought up his name in the first season and since all I ever hear Mike call him is Marcus I thought that was his real name and that he was just some random ghost put into the cast (making fun of old Hannah Barbara shows that included nonsensical things like ghosts, cavemen ,and talking animals like pigeon).
