TTG had a Gumball parody in this weeks episode.
>>78681242
I'm pretty this is what happens when you have a fever dream after binge watching Cartoon Network
>>78681242
>not using the actual characters
You OWN them, retards.
>>78681477
That's ttg for you, making fun of a show that's better
>>78682464
I don't think that was mocking. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
>>78681242
>the actual parody is about road runner and coyote, only caracter-swapped with a green cat and a purple fish with legs
well.
>>78681242
They're likening Gumball to Looney Tunes. It's a compliment.
I don't get it, are they trying to make fun of the show or what?
>>78681477
They also did this sort of thing for MAD parodying regular show and adventure time, in hindsight it's kinda weird.
>>78683107
>likening Gumball to Looney Tunes
>It's a compliment
nigga u serious
>>78683244
Likening it to Looney Tunes is an insult? Nigga u serious?
So what does this say about the writers of TTGO?
how is a rock falling on someone "violence"? fuck this show
>>78683267
Yes. it's an insultto Looney Tunes.
>>78683163
There was a recent episode of Gumball that also used a Road Runner-like cartoon to satirize the censorship of cartoon violence.
Maybe this is TTG coyly acknowledging that they're tackling a subject Gumball has already addressed.
If not for this coincidence I'd say it's just "lel let's use Gumball and Darwin just because"
>>78683303
Bros with good taste
TODDLER TITANS DOES IT AGAIN
>>78681242
>People are taking this as an insult.
...This feeling.
Is this what TTG fans feel when people rant about their show?
>>78684454
Looking at this thread gave me second-hand embarassment, desu
>>78684454
most TTG fans are kids who are probably too young to care
the other fans just are just epic trolls who enjoy it
>TTG will always get shit on because people don't understand satire or commentary or just can't take a joke
i chuckled, especially at cyborg at the end
fuck this method of analyzing cartoons that mr. enter and his army of sjw autists have popularized
>>78684632
Later in the episode they turn themselves into Looney Tunes-style characters and mock their critics yet again
>Who knew we would translate so smoothly into broad comedy?
>I think this will be the definitive incarnation of the Teen Titans!
>>78681477
>>78683225
MAD
TTG
TW=WB animation =/=CN animation
That's not how it works.
>>78683431
Knowing this show, it's probably the latter
>>78685089
i wonder whos more butthurt, teen titans fans or the teen titans go writers
>>78685089
>Later in the episode they turn themselves into Looney Tunes-style characters and mock their critics yet again
I haven't watched much of this show(saw a few episodes, didn't like it), but how often do they do this?
>>78686304
If they feel like poking fun at something just for funor just to trigger the fans of somethingthey change style or start mocking the fans of the show like when the titans realized that their previous incarnations were better then them, they started crying about how emotional and great it was which was just to insult the fans who take teen titans seriously
>>78684684
>i chuckled, especially at cyborg at the end
Yeah, Cyborg and Robin's reaction were pretty great.
>>78686263
Depending on where they're located, the TTG! writers might actually be stationed in the same building, or nearby the writers of Gumball. It wouldn't surprise me if they run into each occasionally, or are even friends.
>>78686304
>how often do they do this?
Turn into Looney Tunes characters? This is the first time. Mock their critics? Too often.
>>78686282
It's obvious they didn't take all the hate mail well but because they know CN is going to pay for more episodes to have this show replace Johnny Test, they know they have a job so they can just keep pulling U MAD BRO shit in as many episodes as they want so they can just act like they are better
>>78684110
FUCK OFF, ENTER!
am i not supposed to find ttg funny
>>78686354
Gumball is produced in Europe, not 'Murkia.
>>78685089
>TTG writers are now just as butthurt and pathetic as Andrew Dobson
>>78685089
WB women look a lot fucking hotter than that, even Red Riding Hood had a great set of tits, that style looks a lot more like A Pup Named Scooby Doo than anything Looney Tunes
>>78681242
I love how parody = butthurt in the /co/ universe
>>78686600
how is strawmanning your critics =/= butthurt?
>>78681242
>someone will and has already found a reason to be upset about this
you niggers never fail to deliver, shit's like clockwork
>>78687262
everything TTG does gets shat on by /co/
I swear they must lurk here
>>78683431
Maybe one day we'll have a cartoon within a cartoon that's just The Coyote Gospel. That'd be neat.
>>78682464
>COME ON GUYS! Its not cool because one sucks more and the other sucks less!
>>78683431
>Maybe this is TTG coyly acknowledging that they're tackling a subject Gumball has already addressed
If you honestly believe this you give the writers for that braindead show far too much credit.
>>78687589
>implying Gumball sucks
>>78686304
All the time. The majority of TTG episodes boil down to "Cartoons should be comedy and only comedy. Everyone who likes anything else is a crybaby fanboy loser"
>>78682464
>>78683225
MAD and TTG were done by Warner Bros, while Gumball and RS were by CN Studios. I imagine that could be the reason. Clarence and WBB have both referenced AT before by drawing characters that look exactly like Finn (former) or just using clips from the show (latter) because they're all CN Studios shows. Also, the UG SU crossover.
>>78684632
>TTG will always get shit on becausethe satire and commentary of the show is unfunny
>>78684632
>It's a comedy so if you criticise it you have no sense of humour
>>78681242
WHAT WAS THE JOKE
>>78690089
For kids "Look characters appearing out of their own show what a wacky concept!"
For everyone else "Look neckbeards getting uppset about literally nothing!"
You guys are missing the point entirely
>They reused Raven and Starfire's bikni assets again
They'll reuse it again.
Good end.
>>78683244
They are likening it to roadrunner and coyote, the BEST looney toon.
>>78684632
>Ignoring the possibility that the jokes just aren't funny
>>78688160
Just because the mom's hot doesn't mean its a good show.
>>78682464
These people are really equally mean-spirited and have huge egos. And people wonder why there is such hatedom of this show.
>>78681242
Okay, taking bets. Who will they bash next? Steven Universe? Gravity Falls? Rick & Morty? Wander Over Yonder? Ninja Turtles again? Who will be the next victim ofTTG writers' now regular temper tanturms?
>>78693934
Boo hoo, people can be mean and egotistical.
>>78693959
I want them to mock SU next, the shitstorm from that would be so hilarious.
>>78694062
>>78693959
My bet is on them attacking Star vs Forces of Evil.
>>78694097
no one cares about that trash
>>78681477
>>78685383
Time Warner owns both. That's why we've gotten so many DC/HB/CN crossovers since CN premiered.
Hell Dick Dasterdly (who is owned by Warner Animation) showed up recently in Uncle Granpa so TTG has no excuse.
>>78693907
>implying milf is the only reason people watch
If that were the case, the Chinese ripoff would have been so much more popular.
>>78694400
Catcest > everything
>>78694669
Agreed.
>>78693934
>>These people are really equally mean-spirited and have huge egos. And people wonder why there is such hatedom of this show.
TvTropes: The post
>>78694397
>Hell Dick Dasterdly (who is owned by Warner Animation) showed up recently in Uncle Granpa
What? Clip?
>>78681242
The show is literally written for little kids and autistic pre-teens, why even care? Like, they must have done a lot of demographics testing, cause I have an autistic(ish) little cousin and he loves it. Quotes it to people, gives his parents plot summaries of the last episode he watched and all that. All the plots are fairly generic and easy to understand for this reason.
Just change the channel, that's your only way to try to make it go away.
>>78685089
It's honestly ridiculous that the writers are so butthurt though. They have to know they're just trying to cash in off kids, not make a genuinely good show. Right?
>>78695042
>that greencap
>>78698194
>implying the writers are the butthurt ones
Wow. So now they're taking swipes at rival shows currently airing? What next? An episode where they make fun of the Paris attack?
>>78695042
>broken english
>trying this hard
No thank you
>>78698413
It seems that the butthurt goes both ways, but, it's ridiculous that the writers are apparently still not over it. I haven't seen many people complaining about it really theses days. How long has the show even been running now? It seems to me the writers are holding mroe of a vocal grudge then the fans are at this point. I guess they could be baiting, but still, it looks angry as hell.
To be fair, I don't watch the show or care about Teen Titans at all, I'm just going off what I've seen online. It seems like they've acknowledged people's anger a few too any times now to just be trollin'.
>>78698488
More like not trying hard enough.
>>78698545
I think they keep doing this because the reaction they get when they make fun of neckbeards is pathetic but if they keep this up it'll just get stale.
>>78690431
>For everyone else "Look neckbeards getting uppset about literally nothing!"
What "everyone"? only /co/ is upset about this and only /co/ is laughing at /co/ getting upset about this.
>>78698969
>this shit
>not hard enough
>>78694062
>>78694097
Why not both?
For maximum buttmad?
>>78700148
How would you even do that?
I SAW
YOU
DANCE
FROM THE CORNER
>>78681477
Its just a reference, not a direct parody
>>78685089
>Who knew we would translate so smoothly into broad comedy?
>I think this will be the definitive incarnation of the Teen Titans!
Animated Atrocities video incoming. Seriously, now they're just begging for more negative reviews. They've become the clickbait of cartoons.
Watching TTG while knowing that countless horrible nerds hate it for being a kids' show is exquisite. TTG is absolutely at the pulse of culture apparently.
I don't like TTG's tone.
>>78702848
>its a kids show so its supposed to be shit
>Show makes episode making fun of itself
>Show makes episode comparing competitor show of equal nonsensicalness and cynicism and point out how great it is
That's neat...I guess.
>Everyone going on about "muh mean spirited"
TTG may be shit but if you really think that's the sole reason the show stinks then I'm beginning to think /co/ doesn't quite understand comedy.
>>78706250
>tone policing
>>78702662
Oh no! Mr Enter video? They're gonna regret it NOW!
>>78706868
/co/ just wants to find reasons to hate stuff. Like they do for everything
>>78708063
>Implying Mr. Enter is important.
I said they'll be more complaints. I didn't say the producers would have any regrets. They definitely follow the philosophy of "no publicity = bad publicity". Every angry review of their show is just another win for them.
>>78708143
That's fine, really, I don't like TTGO! either but this is just sad. Why can't it stay ignored like Regular Show or Uncle Grandpa?
>>78708348
because "not muh titans"
>animated atrocities
I want to smack whoever started this shit.
