>Buckner and Garcia
>Kool and the Gang
What the fuck was up with this movie's soundtrack?
>movie entirely about genre shifts
>music shifts as well
>implying Skrillex and AKB didn't nail their respective songs
Rihanna was insufferable though
Basing it off their song Pac Man Fever worked so dang well. This should've been the movies main theme.
Reminder that Ralph got cockblocked from the new Disneyland parade, yet they used his song as the main theme.
The last time I watched this, I muted it during the Rihanna montage and played the Holy Grail intermission theme instead. Improved the movie 50%.
Seriously though, licenced music is DreamWorks shite. What was Disney thinking
you say that, but only "shut up and drive" was in any way questionable as to where it fitted. All the other music was either made for the film (owl city, Skrillex, B&G) or was appropriate, given the context (the music in the party, for example).
On a superficial level, shut up and drive works, but given the amount of effort that went into pretty much every other aspect of the film, I would say that the driving montage would have been improved with a strong piece of score, perhaps something along the lines of the theme from the incredibles or pirates of the carribean.
I hate that my favourite animal is now related to that audio diarrhea
>Advertising games that are decades old or don't exist
it was all great aside from rihanna and skrillex. i had no idea who all of these people were before i saw this movie, and heck, aside the ones i mentioned and owl city, i had no idea they had more popular people work on the music. gotta say though, the owl city song was top tier.
>The version of Bug Hunt used in the movie will never be released
I've never seen this movie. Would this be something that my wife and I could possibly enjoy over a bowl of green?
She tolerates all sorts of cape shit and even enjoys Young Justice and the Flash.
TL;DR: is this movie cutesy or nerdy enough for my wife to not bitch.
jaywalking is the biggest bullshit ever. i only recently learned what the fuck it was thanks to someone i know going to america.
so how do people deal with a law about not being able to fucking cross the street there anyway? thank god i live in europe where i can do basically whatever the fuck i want because it's just walking.
a girl i know that doesn't play video games or gives two shits about them that willingly saw this movie when it came out and she loved it. so i'd say yes.
also it's a pretty damn good movie with a great story anyway so i don't see why anyone wouldn't like it.
i was trying to leave the park
somehow ended up on the roundabout bit near the exit
needed to cross the street to get to the exit
loads of bits all roped off
small gap i assumed was for crossing
parade not even in sight, about 10 minutes until start time
cross the street
guy out of fucking nowhere grabs me and walks me across the road, follows me out, talks to security as i leave, another guy comes up to me and says i'm not welcome back.
>popular music is bad because it's popular
OP, were you that kid in Highschool who acted superior to everyone else because you listened to prog rock and metal?
Remember when Ralph crashed in sugar rush and we all thought him and Venellope were gonna go into other games to continue their antics?
Yeah, fuck that missed opportunity.
And yes, the soundtrack was horrible.
You realize that jay-walking laws are entirely local, rarely enforced, and entirely discretionary? Not to mention that anon was detained by private security guards on private property and that getting banned from Disney World means that he's probably not telling the whole truth about what happened.
i dunno man, i had a friend of mine go to america and got called on by the cops many times for "jaywalking". she only got out of it because "i'm from europe lol" otherwise she would've been jailed, or so i was told
Sorry, but I think they sound like whiny teen pop shit. Made it 30 seconds into that firefly song and almost had a stroke. If you like em, fair play, but personally I can't stand them.
