And Emerald & Mercury are buddying up to RWBY. They know whoever is pulling all these shenanigans is controlling the White Fang. Is Blake really so dense as to not thin, 'Hey, they look just like the people who tried to solicit my terrorist friends that we're currently fighting against.'? It can't have been more than a year between the preview trailers and the present time, so how have either of them forgotten their faces, especially since it's Qrow's job to find them?!? They are literally forcing Qrow and Blake to hold the idiot ball to make this 'stealthy' operation work.

I call bullshit on the Qrow one. Ozpin's Illuminati group exists to watch over the Four Maidens and is actively trying to track down their attackers. On top of that, they know that the tournament has been compromised. If anything, they'd be paying even more attention. And I doubt that Qrow was just passing by when he saw Autumn being attacked.
