I've always liked Battleships. Big ass artillery pieces on boats. Yes they've been phased out, and for good reasons. Missiles that can go hundreds of miles are way better then shells that can only go a few miles inland. But I've always liked the sheer power they represent.
Though I am hopeful for the future, With our developing Railgun technology I feel that Battleships will make a comeback. Sure the Zumwalt is a destroyer, but once we get those last few kinks out, like having to change the barrels of the RG after a few shots, we'll need a bigger platform for multiple guns. So the Battleships might just come back to us.

Cody works so well in so many pairings is because his character is neutral enough and his writing bland enough that you can write anyone with him, with a few set-ups of course.

First episode of Total Drama Island? Yeah, the first episode feels kinda off tone wise, so I'd say it does. It's mostly just there to introduce the cast and establish who the big players are gonna be anyway. If you get like 5 or so episodes in an still aren't feeling it then you might want to either try another season or just not bother with it. It's a guilty pleasure for most of us anyway.

Well the two finalist were boring, Shawn can be amusing on times but his shtick drags on. His character can be better if he can a crazy conspiracy theorist paranoid about everything instead of a zombie-phobia survivalist. Sky wasn't quite Zoey 2.0 but she was just there to give Dave a excuse to live plus her athletic background was hardly touch upon.

Dave was whiny, creepy and annoying and Jasmine had potential but came off as boring as well. The best character was Max and Ella. But the worst was obviously Sugar.

Well most of cast of characters actually. Most of the cast are so diverse and different that you put them in a room together and you probably get a few good laughs reacting to each other.

Noah was really snarky and even downright mean at times in the early episodes and his elimination episode of RR. He just doesn't stand out as much as he did in World Tour because there's a gigantic cast of new and entertaining characters to develop in RR.

I personally think the whole awkward romance thing with Emma was great, considering that all we knew about him before was that he was a bit of an ass.
