I guess that's true, but the massive potential was really dreamt up by Bryke themselves. It's a pity they were unable to capitalize on it to a greater extent, due to their own shortcomings and due to Nick's incompetence.

The finale was decent, but not really really good. Korra fought alright, but it was too little, too late after a whole season of blueballs.

Sigh. And they went and changed the ending to pander, that's slimy.

This season was pointless, The villain won the battle. And there are still labor camps which nobody mention up after kuvira went to jail. And prince wu didn't become prince which what is the point of his character? If you remove him from the season, Nobody will notice him gone.

Overall enjoyed the series. There are things that could be picked on or whatever but I don't care that much.

I just want to say that if Korrasami (while implied was never confirmed to a drastic degree like Game and Watch was when showing up in Pac-Man's reveal trailer for Smash 4) is offcail, it was done pretty terribly The characters had one interaction in the first two seasons, then said they were friends in Season 3 (which was already implied), then they had lines with each other that were not so subtle but still rather ambiguous.

What I'm trying to say is that Varrick and Zhu Li's falling in love was more believable because of the developing interactions between the two as Season 4 went on. Korra and Asami hardly had any genuine banter with one another, and it comes off as forced as having Mako fall in love with Lin or Korra with Bolin (they had some exposition together in Season 1).

The rest of the finale was awesome, but the Korrasami arc is about as fleshed out as Gone Home. Yes, I fucking said it.

Why is Korra and Asami being more than friends a big deal?

Book 4 was pretty good for an "epilogue season". I just hate that the whole Korrasami debate overshadowed the best scene in the season, which was Korra and Kuriva's discussion in the spirit world.

Kuvira only saw Korra's power when she used energybending to save her; as opposed to letting her die. This is the show telling you that the active good action is more impressive and worthy of awe than the passive bad one, and Kuvira picked up on that because she was supposed to. That is why I said Kuvira was not defeated by fighting or even a show of force.

I doubt that she built the giant mecha primarily for fighting the avatar, especially since she was confident she could take on Korra without it. Bataar Jr. probably had the plans for it even before Varrick discovered what the vines could do. I'd guess he just adapted the power core and the main gun to use spirit vine power.

You neglect the fact that the cannon missed Korra. The only one of them that it ended up threatening was Kuvira. Kuvira is not a bad villain, she is simply nothing amazing like Zaheer and Amon.
She is just meh, just like Season 4 and almost all of LoK context for that matter.
