Tonight's episode: The Bros
>When Darwin and Gumball reveal how they’d spend their perfect day, Gumball confesses that he would spend it with Penny. Darwin gets jealous and sets out to dig some dirt on Penny, hoping it will split them up. Meanwhile Gumball is planning to step his and Penny’s relationship up a notch…by proposing marriage!
Please try to avoid image dumps so we don't hit autosage or the image limit too quickly.
This is why relationships suck. Your bros will ditch you just for pussy and usually mediocre pussy. Oh and IRL your bros do NOT try to maintain their friendships like how cartoons depict. We know Gumball will make time to hang with Darwin somehow, but reality is crueler.
Man romance sucks. If they wrote it realistically the fanbase would become a hatedom.
I JUUUUUSSSSTTTT WANTED TO SAY... ITS
IIIIIIICCCCCEEEEEEEEEE TO SEE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reposting the preview of the episode:
Now this is something I always fucking loved about the show, how expressive they make the brotherly love between Gumball and Darwin, they hug a lot, they aren't shy of telling each other "I love you", they have kissed a few times already and they have even bathed together, it's... it's very sweet to be honest.
Best of all, of all the fucked-up things people have come up with, shipping between the two is almost non-existent, and the few lewd material that exist from the two comes from people dead inside that fail to understand both sibling love and the show.
This episode should be very interesting, since besides some early season 1 episode this is the second time their love is put to the test, were the first time (the words) was more out of desperation to make Darwin understand how much words could hurt.
Interview with Ben Bocquelet:
For the people that wanted sausage on the Wattersons being based on his family, he also mentions the whole overarching plot that will lead to the series finale, basically what AT never could do right.
Joy, it would be nice to see a character succeed at ruining a relationship for good. Bonus points IF the character doesn't guilt into telling the truth. The only cartoon to do this somewhat was Hey Arnold when Lila was introduced.
OFFICIAL GUMBALL S3 TIER LIST
What the fuck? What's people's problem with this episode? It's in my top 3. The turtle is fucking dope and introduced another element of continuity.
BITE BITE BITE EAT FOOD FOR STRENGTH TO BITE BITE BITE MAKE LITTLE TURTLES TO BITE EVEN MORE
He was revived by my tears! He feeds on misery!
You thought you could drag me to the bottom of the lake so you could eat me later. Well guess what punk - I'm a fish. WITH LEGS!
This episode is pure fucking gold.
I hope so. I hope Penny solves the problem by hooking Darwin up with Carrie. And then next week's episode can be where Carrie tells Darwin her whole backstory.
As long as nobody touches Molly. She's my waifu.
>gumball going after pussy instead of hanging out with his pet fish
I don't blame him.
She's a cloud. Your thing would just go right through her and she would barely even feel it.
It's simple science.
Thus my original question if she's got any tangible orifices. We've seen her pic up things, right? So she can form fingers and make them tangible? Maybe she could do the same thing with sphincters.
I doubt that, probably just a little arc and it ends here in The Bros.
If they do keep their relationship (which I hope) it'll just be a side thing that'll be referenced in some episodes.
He's been too attacked to Gumball, if the events of the Words are still true then people just see him as Gumball's shadow and he's the only one to blame.
No wonder the relationship with Penny is tearing him apart, his world is crumbling before him and he has no idea of what to do.
Well while I'm part of the people that didn't like much the first season due to all the gumabuse, but in The Coach's case I didn't saw any, since the exercises she put Gumball through were more to actually teach him something than just shitting on him, were it was show that everyone suffered almost equally in that class, and in the end when Jaime broke and went full psycho
she only jammed Gumball down Darwin's throat because he wouldn't shut the hell up, while to the rest she did horrendous things that could be passed as torture for no reason.
Wait he's gone too? Shit.
As for Pervball, he's been doing this constantly: Shows up, soaks up some attention, delivers jack shit, disappears for a while, rinse and repeat, to be honest I forgot if he was an artist or a writer, either way he's a hack now.
someone post a mega link dish dropped CartoonNetwork
You could've made the thread, anon. But instead you post here.
I'm pretty sure the only reason why Gambino's Mysterious and Crazy World airs nonstop without hiatus is because they have to quickly air the episode (the following week after it airs in the US) in the UK so they have a fire under their ass and the only real reasons for the hiatuses are if the show's creators themselves are on a studio or season break. The Gammblor Show has been running nonstop since June I think.
Oh man, I remember an anon saying it was a two part episode, thanks for confirming.
I have to leave for uni in 15 minutes and I didn't wanted to miss half of the episode ;_;
>Gumball's whole romancing scene
God, this episode was painful to watch. But it was very funny. And kinda gay.
Oh god, this episode was kinda akward, but I liked it nothenless.
>PENNY'S HOUSE GOT BURNED DOWN
>We need some space
Right in the motherfucking feels...
11/10 episode I loved it but I hope this is not how Penny's and Gammblor's romance ends.... I will be severely disappointed.
Also, where were you when they stormed Ben Barbequesauce's flat in London to find his rotting corpse and a suicide note attached to it?
Hes still fucking missing...
I really liked this episode. It got increasingly better as it went on.
>They played the burden afterwards
They were warning us...
What show do you think we're watching? Gumball loves to end things on jokes. They're afraid of being sentimental. The star going out in The Treasure, or Nicole trying to shoot Gumball again in The Fridge. It's par for the course. They just wanted something to end the episode on.
I want Penny to show up more often.
Elmore is a complicated world, and I don't see their house burning down as part of an episode's ending joke as something important.
Meh, enough that there not going to retcon impacting moments that they know that in most cases ending in status qou will be total bullshit but understand how to abuse it in majority of situations were it'll be funny.
Penny's house on fire is more funny then impacting.

are you guy really surprised that darwin was acting like that way while they call him brother darwin is still gumballs pet so its only natural for him to be upset that gumball is spending less time with him
Literally nothing has changed in Gumball and Darwin's relationship apart from the fact that Penny found a way to get Darwin to stop spazzing out about her relationship with Gumball- they still sleep in the same bunk beds, eat at at the same table and they're still brothers and best friends.
Avery's recordings tend to get fucked up. It's not unusual they show a running time of about 62 hours when in fact they have the normal running time. They run fine, but you can't really skip around in your player like that.
I actually thought that was fixed...?
I hope Penny doesn't play a predominant role in many future episodes.
Two birds with one stone.
It was a good episode, and all the autists are raging over it. It's like all those tears that were predicted in The Shell but never came are now pouring like rain.
No problem here, except for the wrong and non existent run time.
yep. probalby because i thought it would be more compatible if i thought that AVI output would be more friendly to more people then MKV output. I"ll make another version( or steal a link) and repost the episode
Greetings, my friend! Did you sort out the Vulkano Lava issue as well as with your cable provider, the 'stream from app and download', and the HD? Also, many thanks for your outstanding service to this board as a whole!
Why do I find a humanoid cloud and a shapeshifting energy being so attractive?
STill working on it, I recently got a job at target, so i've been very busy. 40 hours of work and training combined with school, has lefted me very drained.
But so far, according to my brother. the Vulkano has a set output. so it doesn't matter if the output is component or composite. i'm still gonna tinker with it but i doubt it'll change much
Here's the descriptions for next week's episodes.
>The Mirror - Gumball refuses to forward a scare email, bringing down a curse on the whole family.
>The Man - Granny Jojo brings her new boyfriend to her birthday dinner, making Dad upset.
Damn. I haven't seen this much spaghetti since the Date.
it blocks it. its a shitty upload parameter (I figured 4chan would have some code to auto-mute it but it doesn't) and I have tons of WEBMs I want to contribute but don't know how to take the sound out
Richard is the single greatest flaw of the show. They could have done a lot with him being a stay at home dad. He shops, cooks, cleans, pays bills, and watches the kids. Instead, we get the logical progression of Homer Simpson who has no job and spends his entire day watching mind numbing television and eating.
This episode was hilarious, it's almost like if they're putting together all the jokes they couldn't fit in The Shell. Love how it didn't care about trying to be cute and romantic, how can a show be this based?
But it is fucking stupid... just re-edit the code to allow uploads (containing sound) but just auto mute them in the code. Mootle wanted OC and hes missing out on alot based on the current coding
No, what I was saying is have the fucking site coders ALLOW webbum uploads WITH AUDIO but once the uploads come in, the audio is automatically clipped out versus outright stopping all uploads with audio in em... its so easy as re-editing the code...
>how can a show be this based?
It just fucking is, your dubs confirm it.
I also saw clarence for shits and giggles, and it was... More than I expected, might stick around with that one as well.
This was brought up by a number of people but mootles still stuck to his guns; he knows that there's a quick fix to avoid screamers but he's opposed to the idea of webms with sound on 4chan, period.
The mirror is a Carrie episode, so I'm really looking forward to that one.
The man might give us some clues about Nicole and Richard's pasts, so it should be fun, also I want it to redeem him, see if he's able to break away from his own shitshell.
Kek, that pic just gave me a horrendous idea:
>Gumball and Penny fucking in the dark because reasons
>"He... hey Penny, why d-do you feel so thigh all of the s-oh god-sudden?"
>"Wait, and why do you feel so small?"
>"Just continue you two"
>And then the bedroom explodes
Honestly, despite the weird creepy (kinda gay) Darwin, this episode was pretty cute.
I mean in the end Penny's an understandable kick ass gf and still accepts her and Gumball's relationship.
I guess we can say that Darwin doesn't mind their relationship now
>tfw Darwin lives with Gumball and Penny in their future home.
So, their bromance was okay and I like the fact that Penny doesn't mind them, I hope to see more references with there relationship in future episodes.
At any second, I thought Pen was gonna explode and lose her shit, but she was pretty patient as fuck.
Good job working on her character, Ben Bakelite.
Makes me wish I had a gf like Penny ;_;
>Gumball thinks about Penny in the bathroom
That's pretty lewd
Second chance, Penny asked for a time-out because Darwin was having a melt-down, but since that got fixed there's no reason for them to be apart.
Also it was interesting that her family is still inside their shells, do you guys think they will follow on her example?
To put it, she felt that she was getting in the way of Gumball and Darwins brotherly relationship due to Darwin flipping his shit on them, so she tells Gumball that they need some time off.
Gumball gets upset and Darwin realizes he did a dick move and helps him out.
In the end Penny insures Gumball that they do not need to show eachothers affections by a ring and instead tells him to give to his little brother.
Seriously, what a awesome girlfriend.
So no they don't break up.
There is nothing sadder than a sad Gumball ;_;
Also, request me gifs or whatever.
I think Teri needs another episode - preferably one where she isn't just focused on germs. Why do writers keep beating one characteristic into characters? Can't characters be more than one thing?
Does it bother anyone else that the show is supposed to take place in 2014, but the cars they are driving Late 70's and Early 80's cars?
I mean I'm no stranger to a 1970 Cadillac DeVille, but a Ford Pinto? Might as well have given the Watterson Family an AMC Gremlin to drive around in!
When did penny leave her peanut shell and become some weird orange alien thing?
Elmore is constantly shown to be ridden with anachronisms and oddities like that.
the internet being widespread with social media, yet videogames are stuck in 16bit era graphics, the tech for everything, it seems like their world is constantly jumping back and forth between early 90's and today.
When are you fucks going to stop asking this over and over and just watch the episode or look up the synopsis on the wiki?
Of course he doesn't know that. Its illegal for the writers to depict marriage as the horrible nightmarish torture that it really is. It would be politically incorrect. It would also warn boys to not be stupid if they learned this through a cartoon and if boys avoid rearing families then CN, Disney, and Nick etc are denied the next crop of kids who will buy up their merchandise for future shows. This is why they cannot allow a cartoon that says "Marriage/Family, a shit."
But the whole Town drives around in cars that come from those era's, Even the police car is a 1980's Crown Victoria!
I'd even accept them driving around in an AMC Pacer Bleh.
I could've swarn that Sarah's the one that ships her and them as an OT3.
Meant to delete only the image, fuck
The show is in it's most successful moment, beating various times both AT and RS, with two more seasons and a possible movie for a series finale.
Also AT is shit and RS stagnated a long time ago.
AT has a chance to rebound, but I doubt the writers give enough of a shit anymore to do it.
I agree with RS stagnating, though. I stopped watching after I realized that despite being pretty crazy, it's also really formulaic.
And that's the ONLY way for Gumball to compete. It needed for the competition to run out of quality so that it could "win." I don't see Gumball getting a 6th season like how RS & AT did. Once Gumball ends I see it getting swept under the rug like Chowder and Flapjack while RS & AT enjoy plenty of reruns. So suck it.
All I ask is that Carrie's Grandma drives a '59 Cadillac Hearse and Teri's parents drive a Trabant 601 (known as the paper car in Germany) and I would be happy.
Anon, that's what dreams are made of-
>patient as fuck, can deal shit she got put through
>doesn't care about spaghetti spilling from Gumball
>cares about Gumball and Darwin's relationship
>almost choked to death, but still loves Gumball
Best grill 2014
Ben handled the relationship episodes pretty well so far, they still put through a lot of jokes in the episodes which makes them too funny to hate.
I don't see it becoming AT-tier at the moment.
I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't have her NOPE out of there at any of that, or even do the hackneyed "I love you but we can't be together yet" bullshit.
She really understands Gumball well.
>AT is coming back
>AT trolls are showing up again
Ah well, it was nice while it lasted.
The last month has seen an increased viewvership of the show into the 2 million, as follows:
>The Password: 2.003
>The Procrastinators: 2.264
>The Shell: 2.306
>The Burden: 2.361
It's getting closer to this season's record of 2.385 (kids and fan), so hopefully this week it will be broken, but the numbers are still too far from the best episode of the series numbers-wise, The Goons with 2.719.
But on average this season has the best ratings, I would share them but those are on my old computer and I'm too lazy to make the calculations again, all I can say is that it's been getting progressively better with each passing season, mostly because the first one got hit too hard by the constant hiatuses.
These shapeshifting scenes are starting to remind me of pic related
Someone should draw Gumball as Silk Spectre and Penny as Dr. Manhattan.
>I don't know what stimulates you anymore...
>Were you the guy that was yelling about "buttmad AT fags" who deleted the post?
No? I'm not even entirely sure what you're talking about but i haven't deleted anything. I was just commenting on the fact that since AT is coming back next week it seems like people who b8 with AT have been coming out in force after changing their tack during the hiatus.
Agreed, but maybe because it's 2014 and these cars are considered widespread (or presumably new), they might have that manual-automatic mode that new cars have.
Or if you want to get really wild, they might have the clutchless transmission that they put into 1930's Cord's and Aubern's.
Or it's just for cinematic effect, lel
This is from the first week of October.
>The Amazing World of Gumball (7 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 6-11 on all TV, and among boys 2-11 on basic cable. The original animated series scored as the #1 telecast of the day among all kids/boys 2-11 & 6-11.
#1 show of the week on ALL TV amongst boys 6-11. That's fucking solid gold. It did better in that key demographic - the demographic that all children's networks strive for - than any other show. Even SpongeBob.
This episode was pretty gay
ending sequence was fucking gold though
>3 episodes = every episode.
>Only 2 of them were specifically about it.
Wow. It's fucking nothing.
Did you miss season 1 where Penny invited Gumball to a treehouse to kiss him and he was all for it? Have you missed the multiple times both characters have been honest about their feelings towards each other? Literally nothing has changed as far as their dynamic goes. Unlike Mordecai and Finn, Gumball was way past "secret crush" right when his girl started showing up.
Just rewatched the episode, it's was really great, kinda akward at moments, but I guess that's romance episodes.
That ending scene was golden.
