The DCAU wasn't perfect, but it sure as shit has some of the best interpretations of a lot of DC characters.

I will say that DCAU Supes was a bit too cynical for my tastes, around the time of JLU.

Apparently Timm hated the idea of Bane, so he made him an absolute punk with a lame design that gets beaten in the least creative way possible by bats almost immediately after his first appearance.

They regretted it, so they made him a fair bit cooler in later appearances.

You can pretty much point to this show for anything Spiderman. Eddie was fleshed out and had actual legit reasons for hating Peter, Doc Ock was vicious as shit, the B tier villains were intimidating outside of the Sinister 6 episodes, Goblin was actually fully in control and still crazy as shit, Sandman was awesome, Rhino was awesome...

The only complaints I might acknowledge are that lizard didn't talk and Kraven turned into a Tiger.

Oh, also, Miles was on the same tier as Norman in this show for being one scary motherfucker.
