Didn't Bruce Timm fuck up Bane? Isn't Dick Grayson a beta whose father fucked his girlfriend? Isn't Barbra a filthy slut who fucked her boyfriend's dad? Isn't Diana just reduced to being a part of Bruce's harem?
The DCAU wasn't perfect, but it sure as shit has some of the best interpretations of a lot of DC characters.
I will say that DCAU Supes was a bit too cynical for my tastes, around the time of JLU.
Also fuck you, Dick was awesome in B:TAS, particularly when he became Nightwing.
Gene and Scott was actually interesting in that show and Logan didn't steal anyone's spotlight either, how strange. But they are the reason why X-23 and it's fanbase became a thing.
I heard that Timm hated Bane and wanted to do as little as possible with him but exec meddling forced him to use Bane. Timm hated him so much that in Batman Beyond he made Bane a vegetable. Honestly I don't see the problem anyway Bane was always boring and overrated even before the 4U: The Cinematic Experience.
Off the top of my head
Captain Cold and nearly all Flash villains except Trickster and Grodd
I'd say the only DCAU versions of the characters that are the best versions are
And that's really it...
Eddie Brock was interesting too. Damn, is he attractive in that series. But to be fair when isn't Eddie attractive?
Hint: character being different from comics != shit adaptation
>DiMaggio is the best version of every character
Apparently Timm hated the idea of Bane, so he made him an absolute punk with a lame design that gets beaten in the least creative way possible by bats almost immediately after his first appearance.
They regretted it, so they made him a fair bit cooler in later appearances.
Diana is what they could get away with. They couldn't actually do anything with her because...well...her origins are controversial, doing anything outside of what the ww fanboys/girls/gays want would ensure shitflinging rage and dc were assholes about it.
See I wanna get into X Men comics but from what I've heard, nearly everyone is a massive dickhead. Does any of the characters act like they do in Evolution or am I sentenced to grimdarkness forever?
DiMaggio was easily the best animated non-Hamill Joker. I wouldn't mind it if they got him to voice him again.
Seriously, DCAU Lex Luthor is probably the best version of the character and Clancy Brown is like the definitive Lex.
Who fucking else was ever a good Lex Luthor?
>being this wrong.
we all know this is the best Joker
So far beyond all other Banes they might as well not exist.
Goddamn he was glorious.
Then again the same can be said for a lot of people in the comic.
Search your feelings.
You know it to be true.
Is there a better version of Giganta than Gail Simone's?
Kingdom Come Superman is pretty much the epitome of who Superman is for me.
Giving that faggot Macendale traits of Kingsley was a very good idea.
Harley was only good when on the fox owned batman series. After it went to wb and became syndicated she just...went to shit.
She's even worse in the comics.
I'll agree with you about Luthor.
I think the guy/gal is just a troll.
>you only like because she gave you your first boner.
That's wrong though. April O'Neil gave me my first boner.
I would watch a movie that was just two hours of him yelling at people. And maybe at some point in the background, Spidey goes by fighting the Vulture or someone, and he doesn't even acknowledge it.
You can pretty much point to this show for anything Spiderman. Eddie was fleshed out and had actual legit reasons for hating Peter, Doc Ock was vicious as shit, the B tier villains were intimidating outside of the Sinister 6 episodes, Goblin was actually fully in control and still crazy as shit, Sandman was awesome, Rhino was awesome...
The only complaints I might acknowledge are that lizard didn't talk and Kraven turned into a Tiger.
Oh, also, Miles was on the same tier as Norman in this show for being one scary motherfucker.
