that delivery could have been better. it really seems like he was just reading from a script and didn't put any actual feeling into it.

It was always kinda obvious, wasn't it ?
I mean, Serena/ Usagi had the same hairstyle while as Sailor Moon, and the same with all the other girls
They didn't even wear masks (except from Sailor V)

One of the few things Inuyasha did right was when Kagura found out about InuYasha's secret of turning human but kept it to herself.
Subtle characterization.

Some sort of glamour is in effect given how noone ever recognizes them including family.

For all intensive purposes, I could care less about posters like you. In my mind, you're a diamond dozen, and seeing you phased out would be a blessing in the skies. After all, it's a doggy dog world out there and if you wanted to survive you should of nipped your behaviour in the butt. Case and point, I was dating this girl who was at my beckon call and I was a terrible person to her. I thought I could get away with that behaviour but I had another think coming when she dumped me.
But I guess what doesn't kill us makes us stranger.

That sort of experience really separates the weak from the chaff. I'd be champing at the bits to keep a hold on my girlfriend in that scenario.

It's the Joker, DC's favorite pet villain.
He probably knows where the Fortress of Solitude is located and knows a secret entrance into the White House. He just doesn't care.

I prefer Spectacular's version, where he just manages to convince everyone "No that's not true".
