They did use the same huge group for three seasons and still used a lot of them through the first half of this season.

I don't know about Revenge but I know the 5th season combined package of All Stars and Pahkitew Island was actually commissioned by Cartoon Network. They're huge jews so obviously they wanted to spread it over two summers instead of just one long run.

I don't know how well the series performed this summer. They did get every season rushed through TWICE during the hype buildup and premiere. We can only hope this summer got good ratings so that maybe they'll order a larger season. I remember reading something in one of these threads where the creators said they thought they could get out quite a few more seasons.
