Sup /co/. I'm going on vacation in a few days and are looking for comics to read while on the beach.
Preferably the good but slightly alternative stuff that one otherwise wouldn't bother with.
On a phone or real books?

On a phone. Much less of a hassle.
Why are you browsing /co/ instead of watching cartoons and reading comics?
>>93916829
because I wanna discuss them
cause i'm not a manchild

Thoughts on Rendel?
In honor of her imminent death and loss of the title, let us take a thread to remember how Jane Thor is literally built for sex. Say what you want about this whole idea, but the magic of Mjolnir knows how to upgrade a chick where it counts.
Pic related (I'll start)

Pretty simples.

Is it really that bad? It's no Prime, but surely you can find some redeeming qualities?
Strongarm is waifu
Not a whole lot else
Not bad, but not great

so many interesting cons
not much in terms of toys
it's ok when viewed that the war is over (so large scale fire fights are rare).
Still better than Unicron trilogy
For a guy who spent his whole life dressed up as the American flag, Steve seems pretty indifferent about it. He's never had that "America: Fuck yeah!" moment like his 616 and Ultimate counterparts.

Are you excited for the return of duckcore shows to TV?
>>93915438
I want a return of Darkwing Duck and Mighty Ducks
>>93915438
that's...... hot
>>93915901
Duh, it's summer, anon.
Could Batman handle Stain the Hero Killer?
With prep time?Maybe.
>>93915410
Eh, quite easily.
Stain is not as dangerous as random clown with zero powers, his powers work only when he gets your blood, other than that he's just your typical highly trained deadly assassin.

he was a rampaging plot device, then later he was given powers and a history to make him able to come back again and again, he's only well known because of hype, he's not even close to being Superman's arch nemesis
>>94088630
Pretty much. No dialogue aside from grunts/shouts/growls, no motivation aside from "destroy anything moving", etc...
And after the whole Death of Superman thing, since he had 'adapted/evolved' to be immune to Superman-level strength damage, he was pretty much just a mobile disaster area that had to have diverted or distracted until the heroes could magic/technobable him somewhere they didn't care about to trap him.
>>94087719
Doomsday's character is simply "big dumb monster that is really strong and can beat up Superman". I hate him and he is honestly the worst out of Superman's rogues gallery, just pure garbage
So I've been out of the loop for a while on things IDW has been putting out, I know they have transformers and G.I. Joe. But I heard they are expanding to other Hasbro properties. They have this revolution event going on. So I'm looking into getting into some of there newer titles. Got a bit bored with transformers. What titles are they planning on putting out? I know they have ROM but are they eventually going to make Mask or visionaries comics? And is G.I. joe good if you have never seen the cartoons?
They already have a MASK title. Also Action Man and Micronauts.
>>93916551
Oh neat, I used to love watching Mask when I was younger, Micronauts seem cool as well, might pick those up as well
>>93916740
Grab them while you can. GI Joe and MASK are merging after their next line wide event crossover. Micronauts and Rom are merging as well. Transformers I'd down to two monthlies again. Sales across the line are in the toilet.
They've have a third Hasbro Universe crossover planned for next Spring that will result in the total reboot that Hasbro wanted all along.
I wash myself with a rag on a stick
JUST FUCK MY CARTOON UP
JUST PUT IT ON NICKTOONS
JUST PUBLIC HUMILIATE ME
So when's the last episodes? Africa has aired them all.
>all the restrictions Marvel had to work with due to the deal with Sony
>all the characters and films we'll never see because Sony is insistent on making their own spinoffs
>all of the progress Ike held back with his pettiness and lunacy
How many more Sony films will have to flop before they share all the rights anyway? It's going to be too late by then.

the Japanese are in their own dimension when it comes to business. they're fucking retarded to us but somehow they think they're just being careful.

I don't know people like Kathleen Kennedy could learn something important from the nips. like the ancient art of sudoku
seen the movie yesterday, no one wants to talk about now.
diversity push aside it was pretty entertainting, peter was cool, his guy in the wheelchair wasn as annoying as i feared, the villain was great, and his suit made alot of sense (buzzard who was stealing equipment fro "damage control") , plenty of references to previous (raimi) spiderman movies and iconic comic book scenes (peter freeing himself from under all that rubble)
solid 8/10
