Any good example? They usually heavily lean one way or another.
Although Jack could be both very hot and very badass at the same time.

>Announced today at Comic-Con International in San Diego by Top Shelf Productions, the fourth and final volume of the series promises to tie up “the slenderest of plot threads and allusions from the three preceding volumes, The Black Dossier, and the Nemo trilogy into a dazzling and ingenious bow.”
>“This is the absolute final one,” O’Neill told The New York Times. “We’re having a ball with it. I’ve never heard Alan happier.”
>According to Top Shelf, the six-issue Tempest opens “simultaneously in the panic-stricken headquarters of British Military Intelligence, the fabled Ayesha’s lost African city of Kor and the domed citadel of ‘We’ on the devastated Earth of the year 2996”:
>[T]he dense and yet furiously paced narrative hurtles like an express locomotive across the fictional globe from Lincoln Island to modern America to the Blazing World; from the Jacobean antiquity of Prospero’s Men to the superhero-inundated pastures of the present to the unimaginable reaches of a shimmering science-fiction future. With a cast-list that includes many of the most iconic figures from literature and pop culture, and a tempo that conveys the terrible momentum of inevitable events, this is literally and literarily the story to end all stories.

We're blowing our Weekend of Pain loads too early. There's not going to be enough storytimes to last the weekend.
>>94018440
I have 688 gigs of comics. There are PLENTY of comics left to read this weekend.
>>94018440
I'm saving the rest of my stuff for later, assuming no one does any of the stuff I was planning to do. If nothing else, I've got 3 comics planned for each day.
>>94018440
We'll prolly get repeats by late Saturday/Sunday. Hell I wouldn't be surprised the Trinity of Millar gets storytimed every dayincluding the triple play we know is coming
I don't know how they managed to screw up Dick's butt in this statue.
His butt? Look at his face!

I was bad-mouthing Linkin Park earlier and had to delete a couple posts so certain friends of mine wouldn't hate me all of the sudden.
So I'll say it here. Fuck Linkin Park.
I mean, I'm sorry for the guy's family and all, and yeah depression sucks, but now I've got a bunch of people loading up their social pages with CRAAAAAAWEWWLING IN MY SKIIIIIIIIIIIN. I know their grieving, so I keep my mouth shut. But Linkin Park is, was and always will be shit-tier garbage.
I feel better now.

PUNISHER STORYTIME
All this year I'll be storytiming Punisher comics. Most of the focus will be on the pre-Ennis era, with the occasional Ennis era story and possibly some post-Ennis era material at some point. Expect at least 1 storytime per week.
Over the course of this year I've been able to go through the Mike Baron era of the character (basically the late 80s through approximately the end of 1991), covering pretty much all of his run (excluding an Annual or two). I also recently posted Chuck Dixon's first story on the character (the graphic novel "Kingdom Gone") and have posted his fill-in issues during the Baron run, including the issue he did right after the Baron run ended and immediately before the Abnett and Lanning run began.
What's that? You didn't know the famous DnA writing team even HAD a run on The Punisher? Well they did! In fact, they wrote more issues than famous Punisher scribes like Carl Potts or (the REAL definitive Punisher writer) Steven Grant. On top of a dozen issue long run proper on The Punisher, they also wrote a multi-issue arc on The Punisher War Zone, a couple more multi-issue arcs on the main series, a miniseries, an Annual, and... I can't remember what else for sure. In total there were close to 30 issues IIRC, making them one of the top 5 most prolific writers in The Punisher's entire 4 decade plus history.
Today we're going to read their very first Punisher story ever: Eurohit, which kicked off their initial run on the series. It features The Punisher allying himself with some kind of... odd acquaintances. The cast in general is a bit more colorful than your typical Punisher comic, but all in all it's a reasonably entertaining story, and much better than either of the other 2 previous extra-long Punisher tales up to this point (Jigsaw Puzle and The Final Days of The Punisher).
So grab a drink and/or some snacks, and strap in for some stylized covers and yuro-shenanigans and let's read this bitch.
