it probably is but given how marvel basically burned everyone out on legacy characters i wouldn't be suprised.

the problem that most of the people who complain about marvel's kick about diversity seem to overlook is that it's a symptom no a cause. if tomorrow they decided to flush every legacy character they introduced starting with miles onward it still wouldn't fix anything because while bendis would probably leave if anything happened to his OCs the rest of the shit management & shit talent would still there.

they did that with ms. marvel and tying the character up into carol's shit, inhumans & avengers are what ultimately caused the book to tank. also doesn't help that the overarcing story of the book post SW keeps getting derailed by events.

Ignoring that her obsession with arnold got extremely old, she was the character that was subjected the most to moral dilemmas and being forced to compromise her hardass facade frequently to do the right thing.

With other main characters, doing right and being friendly was more in their nature and weren't afraid of doing so.

I never found myself getting tired of it personally. I didn't like how occasionally it would be used as a paper-thin excuse for a "Helga Gets Trapped In Arnold's House" episode but then those episodes usually ended up being absolutely hysterical so it ended up being alright in the end.

Those few moments where her and Arnold would actually bond when she let guard down briefly were always fantastic. When they're building sandcastles, when they hatch their school project egg, when they almost drown in Arnold's greenhouse, when she asks him if he is OK when her father calls him "orphan boy" etc.

Their current cartoons are about as bad as their first cartoons in the 60s or what was it.

Cheaply made, just for the character recognition, designed as disposable.

I had this idea, TTGO kinda did it.

Batman breaks into a zoo and goes insane. Kills a clown thinking it's joker, rapes a couger calling her Catwoman. Kills a pair of hyena thinking it's Harley's, penguins for Penguin, and a polar bear for Mr. Freeze. In the end covered in blood he dies sleeping upside down in the bat exhibit.

Weren't these both shown in the later end of KotH's run? Around season 6 or 7, the original creators, Greg Daniels and Mike Judge, lessened their involvement of the show, and I think that's why we got a lot of ridiculous Hank v Strawman episodes in the last half of the show. The writers didn't really know what made, say, the early Halloween episode fun, and these unbearable.
