>Said Urban, "I am in discussions with them about that. I told them that if they write the material and give Dredd something to do and give him a function, I will be there. I would love to."

Best thread I've seen all day just because of this news, I am legitimately happy finding out Urban might come back. Actually looking forward to this show a shit ton, it has everything to succeed.
>easily conceptualized and variable atmosphere and setting
>good protag
>not a remake
>netflix
NO NO WHY
Great, Urban is back but Netflix? Why the fuck
NGL I'm more sprung than Boing! right now.
>Dredd
>Netflix
>Urban
>the people behind the film and Battlestar GalacticaThat said Alex Garland was a big reason the film was as good as it was IMO but I'm still very hype.
ITT annoying /co/ characters.
Did this thread just get modeleted and then you felt the need to post it again?
why not just post in one of the sonic threads? what is the point?
>>94486497
>ITT: just another cancer thread
>>94486497
She improved greatly in season 2.
Season 1 Sticks was fucking annoying though.
So this season is shit right?
>>94486405
Only if you thought the previous two were shit as well
I preferred how a lot of the old episodes were just one offs and not that relevant to the overall plot. Seems like they are really south parking it up this season.
Pickle episode was fine, last weeks was fucking trash.
>Iron Man and and Incredible Hulk imply Stark is helping Fury put together the Avengers
>Iron Man 2 and every movie since then ignores this
>Thor destroys the Bifrost to add consequence to the movie. He has to lose Jane forever to save the Frost Giants.
>Avengers shits all over this with Odin's "dark magic" and Thor 2 repairs the Bifrost offscreen
>Thor 1 implies Loki is manipulating Selvig
>This is ignored in Avengers
>Stark builds Avengers tower but nobody uses it until Age of Ultron
>Avengers and Shield are absent in Iron Man 3
>Avengers are absent in Thor 2 and Winter Soldier
>AoU ignores the entire plot of Iron Man 3
>AoU ignores Black Widow and Nick Fury going into hiding in Winter Soldier
>AoU ignores Banner having control over the Hulk
>Civil War ignores Iron Man quitting the Avengers in AoU
>Civil War has Ant Man deciding to become a fugitive from the government despite spending his movie trying to be with his daughter
>Avengers are absent during all the magic fuckery going on in Doctor Strange
>Thor is on Earth in Doctor Strange when he was last seen heading to Asgard in AoU
>The blob shit on Earth from Guardians Vol.2 was never brought up despite happening in 2014
>Homecoming is non-canon
>Homecoming says Stark is building equipment for Cap thus negating all the consequences of Civil War
>Civil War says Stark and Pepper broke up but they're getting married in Homecoming
>Black Panther implies the world thinks Wakanda is a shithole despite that not being the case in all previous movies
>Infinity War has Star Lord with his mask despite it being destroyed in vol.2, Rhodey in his armor despite being crippled in CW, Winter Soldier with his arm despite losing it in CW, Spider Man wearing the Iron Spider despite him rejecting it in Homecoming, and stupid Hulk despite him being smart in Ragnarok
Interconnected cinematic universe my fucking ass.
>>94486370
>Iron Man and and Incredible Hulk
>>94486370
Anyone with half a brain noticed this back in 2012.
>>94486370
You clearly haven't put in the effort to piece any of it together
How will /co/ ever recover?
the second panel looks like he's transforming into an even more Jewish person.

https://www.newsarama.com/35805-why-marvel-doesn-t-publish-the-fantastic-four-and-what-it-will-take-to-make-them-start-again.html
>The concrete “whys” of the Richards family’s absence have been a matter of speculation since they left the Marvel Universe in Secret Wars, but as it turns out, the actual reason for their disappearance from Marvel's publishing line may be exactly what some conspiracy minded fans have said all along - 20th Century Fox's ownership of the franchise's film rights - but maybe not for the reasons they may expect.
>”I think it’s pretty common knowledge at this point that Marvel isn’t publishing Fantastic Four because of their disagreement with Fox,” Hickman explained. “While it bums me out, I completely understand because, well, it isn’t like they’re not acting out of cause. Fox needs to do a better job there.”
>Hickman’s reasoning seems to imply that Marvel did indeed drop the FF because of the Fox films – not necessarily for financial reasons, but because the most recent reboot was both critically and financially unsuccessful, and failed to reflect well on Marvel's comic books. Marvel still publishes an entire line of X-Men comic books, for example, despite Fox also controlling that franchise's film rights.
>[John] Barber spelled it out more directly, saying “Not to be blunt, but three f---ing terrible movies don’t help anything.”
>>94485663
Read it again. It was canceled because they didn't want the comic F4 to suffer after a shit film.
>>94485663
>because the most recent reboot was both critically and financially unsuccessful, and failed to reflect well on Marvel's comic books
by this logic they should be cancelling most of their comics. most of the comics themselves fail to reflect well on marvel's comic books right now.
Why does Marvel actively attempt to punish and push away its remaining fans?
What a pathetic corporation.
Would his book be better if he had villains who could actually challenge him and not get oneshotted by the Venom Blast?
>>94485144
A little, but not by a lot. Issues with Miles go way beyond his OP powers.
>>94485144
You can't maintain a series on a protagonist with no personality. It doesn't matter who your villains are.
Trick question, Bendis would never write a villain who could withstand Venom Blast
Polo is sad. And resents Daisy for telling him he was a bad boi.
But we already knew that for over a year.
Well...maybe a /trash/ thread will do better...?
What the fuck is paulo refering to here?? My memory of this comic has become shit.
Why do we keep coming here?
H-Has he become a Super Asgardian God?
No, he's doing what Thor should be able to do in most Marvel related media but people are too uncreative to use this fact and God it pisses me off
90% of the time Thor is just a dude with a hammer when he's the God of Thunder, mjolnir is just his weapon, he doesn't need it to control the elements.
Someone post the moment when he summons the storm.
He's become Super Asgardian Blue
>>94483591
he should get a super twitch so it doesn't look too cringy
>without Jerry around to belittle, Beth is now pouring her vitriol on her kids
>those passive-aggressive jabs and threats made at them to not make her look like the bad guy in front of the therapist
>that implication that she now resents them for wanting her to act like their mother (i.e. caring about their emotions and accepting their vulnerabilities while helping them overcome their problems)
>"And fuck both of you, too."
This is starting to get really messed up. If Jerry somehow manages to stumble his way into a decent job, he might actually get custody of the kids at this rate.
Man this stuff really tickles my funny bone
>>94483470
Dan Harmon needs to take a break.
>>94483470
I feel like they're either setting us up for something like that toward the end of the season, but most likely it'll either end with them getting back together or the writers hand waving Beth's shittiness and making her the good guy at the end just so they can shit on Jerry some more.
What does /co/ thinks of Sandra and Woo?
It is garbage which only appeals to horny pedos.
How many times are you going to spam this thread?
>>94483214
it's garbage
>>94483214
I've never read it but from the image you posted OP, it looks shit
>>94482571
I don't mind.
>>94482584
>>94482571
Yeah, the movies are pretty okay.
Them minions are the only faggy part, but in the main movies they're pretty much relegated to secondary character relief.
question is does that include the minions movie
Why is it that these regions almost never get any good representation? It seems as if every writer's ideas about these places range from "Barons and villages and shit" to "Greece and Italy and Minotaurs and Zeus and shit". Is it so hard to actually visit google for a couple of minutes? Maybe use Google-Earth or search for some pics and news articles?
I mean, there are barely any characters from here. You have Elektra, Morbius, Hercules & a DC Chick with 1 appearance from Greece, some supporting cast members over at Hellboy from various countries, Silver Sable, and a couple of gypsies. And not even "Serbian with Roma ancestry" gypsies just "we're still in Caravans and taking trips" gypsies.
You can apply that to anywhere that's not New York, sure, but considering the region is always used in some way, it's weird that there are no actual characters from it. Marvel's Yuropoors are almost exclusively from there (unless they're Nazi Cliches), yet none of them, bar Sable, are ACTUAL citizens. Most of Hellboy's stories take place there, and deal with local folklore, but there's no main character.
Is it just a lack of familiarity and a reluctance to do some research? Why? An under-dog story for a Balkan guy is almost a no brainer. Hell, that's what Doom is, but they went ahead and added that Roma thing.
>>94482200
Most comic books are read by North-Western Europeans and Americans
This is like asking why manga portrays Americans as arrogant loudmouthed rude anti-heroes
>>94482547
I guess. But considering how much Marvel at least uses the region, they'd just make Wanda, Pietro, Doom and the others normal citizens of X Country, instead of coming up with fictional countries, and then making them gypsies. I get the reasonings behind them (gypsies = magic & fictional country = less chances of someone being offended), but it's still weird. It's like a Eurocomic being set in America, but using made up States instead of the actual ones.
>>94482547
>Most comic books are read by North-Western Europeans.
Okay. But what did being a pickle add to the plot?
Was that the meme the whole time?
>>94481855
What does this thread add to the catalog?
is this the meme the whole time?
>>94481875
An honest question.
I thought the whole "making an exoskeleton out of cockroach and rat pieces" was pretty original and cool, but I guess the REEEEEEE women writers comes first.
*sigh* Okay. *cough*
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>Just wanted to have a nice party for his friend and idol who protects his home
>has entire party wrecked by a big fat insecure emotional beta faggot who's mad nobody likes him
>is understably upset they've had their upper class party wrecked and made awkward by a dipshit who isn't supposed to be there
>Gets his point proven in the end when Ralph comes back and because of his autistic episode gets their entire game shut down
>gets shit all over when he was right all along
Why do people give Gene so much shit?
Because he was a dick about it.
>>94481720
It's all about delivery
He's an instigator and made the whole thing about how right he was instead of celebrating Felix.
Only a douche starts shit when the guy the party is for says to stop.
