Was Spawn ever actually good?
Why is he no longer popular?
>>95292814
He was good when I was fourteen, he was good when you were fourteen. You missed your chance bro.
>>95292814
>Was Spawn ever actually good?
Yeah, or decent enough at least.
>Why is he no longer popular?
Because he's not Marvel or DC, plus he represents the previous decade while trendy 20 somethings rebel against everything about that decade, edgy and dark is not hip anymore, what's hip is "fun" and camp
People actually like GOTG, let that sink in and then ask yourself if those people could ever like Spawn
>>95292814
>Was Spawn ever actually good?
As someone who loves Spawn, no the comic was never well written. But I still find it enjoyable until Capullo leaves as regular artist.
What did you think of the Sinestro Corps War the first time you read it? What do you think of it now?
>>95292760
I've enjoyed it every time I read it. I actually appreciated it more the second time around after having read Johns' GL run going into it (because GL by Johns omnibus).
It's not the most thought provoking, amazing thing ever written, but it's entertaining.
It was, as the kids, say, lit
>>95292760
I shit bricks when this happened
Why did the show try so hard to make her attractive?
Pretty sure it tried to do the exact opposite of that.
>>95292591
Are you fucking serious? When did they try to do that?
>>95292634
I beg to differ

What was Ultimate Cyclops right about? Aside from getting shot in the face?
>rumors of another Jean Grey and another Venom ongoing
I don't understand, do you mean they would have each of their individual books rebooted or another series running parallel to the main book? How would that even work?
>>95291584
Venom and Venom Inc with the "new" characters of Venomverse
Teen Jean and Phoenix Ressurection
>>95291541

Source?
Are the voice actors happy to reprise their roles to this day, or is it just a painful paycheck to them?
Are you serious? They're clearly enjoying every word. The show allows everyone so much freedom, how can you not enjoy it?
they love it
i think one of the VAs really needed the work
>>95291503
Yeah they love the titans. They were bummed out they weren't used for the new 52 inspired movies.
Which /co/ related character is the best talker/speaker? like the kind You'd expect to see doing a ted talk.
Stark, Reed and Beast. Maybe Pym or Parker. My left field choice would be:DOOM
Ted Knight
Ted Grant
Ted Kord

>reed
Are you serious? He's known for having absolutely no charisma or charm
So what do you think of The Boys /co/?
Fun, interesting take on Supers or edgy for the sake of it nonsense?
The next comic Seth Rogen ruins live action.

>Seriously what the fuck
>How do you fuck up this bad
>Just look at the source material
>Is this show a disappointment to /co/ or just me
It was decent. A pity what happened to Hitler.
>>95291191
In S01E01 they turned Tulip into a homocidal lunatic who thought it was funny and cool for children to witness her commit mass murder. Then in the rest of S01 they had her be a try-hard for Jesse The Pusse, as if the character as shown was worth a fuck.
It's a trainwreck show popular only with stupid people amazed by muh cinematography.
>It was err well-shot. And well-acted. Durr.
Cassady is the only character decent and semi-accurate to the comics.
>>95291191
what the fuck did u expect from seth green and amc? get real
Is it weird that I was born in 1997 and yet, Bobby's World was a part of my childhood? This was a show that my mom actually loved to watch with me. It was more educational than some of the shows I was watching at the time like Foster's and Chowder. I loved those shows, but I liked this show for teaching lessons
Anyone?
Only things I remember about this are his toy octopus and his dad constantly fucking up.

In Season 2, Episode 20 of CBS's "The Big Bang Theory" (titled "The Hofstadter Isotope,") series protagonist Sheldon Cooper has the following exchange with another character.
>Sheldon: Well, I’ve spent the last three hours in an online debate in the DC Comics Batman chatroom, and I need your help.
>Stuart: Oh yeah. Those guys can be very stubborn. What’s the topic?
>Sheldon: I am asserting, in the event that Batman’s death proves permanent, that original Robin, Dick Grayson, is the logical successor to the Bat Cowl.
>Stuart: Ooh, Sheldon, I’m afraid you couldn’t be more wrong.
>Sheldon: More wrong? Wrong is an absolute state and not subject to gradation.
>Stuart: Of course it is. It’s a little wrong to say a tomato is a vegetable, it’s very wrong to say it’s a suspension bridge. But returning to the original issue, Dick Grayson became Nightwing, a superhero in his own right. Batman 2 has to be the second Robin, Jason Todd.
Now, I find this an interesting exchange for several reasons. This episode originally aired in April 2009, 4 years after Jason Todd had been ressurected as the antihero Red Hood, and the month before the events of Battle for the Cowl. Battle for the Cowl ends with Dick Grayson taking on the mantle of Batman as per Sheldon's theory, but Jason Todd indeed dors take up the mantle of Batman during the event, as Stuart predicted.
However, my problem with this is that Jason Todd had not shown himself to be worthy or even capable of taking on the mantle of Batman at any point prior to the Battle. His tenture as The Red Hood should have proven that the character was ill-suited for the role of Batman compared to Dick or Tim. While Stuart was technically correct, Jason only took up the mantle temporarily and lost it to Dick.
So I ask you: why did Stuart believe that Jason Todd would take on the role of Batman from Bruce Wayne?
>>95290727
really activates those almonds
>>95290727
Because edgyfags and tumblr landwhales liked Jason Todd because of the animated movie where he was voiced by that Supernatural fag.
>>95290727
Stuart is a twat who thinks succession rights is rooted in seniority. By his own logic, Dick should be Batman and Jason should be the new Nightwing
But really it's just a name drop for nerd cred "Oh hey nerds we know this character from the funny books"
>Carl had a daydream where he was eating sausages and bacon
>It made him to fight the Pig in The Rodeo
