The only reason people thought it wasn't was that it didn't have that 80s aesthetic Americans seem to go crazy for.
(Well, that and the fact that practically nobody watched it because it wasn't on a major network, so most opinions came from a small group of dedicated haters.)

It's because of this show that they weren't allowed to use Batman villains in JL/JLU and also why we didn't get a Birds of Prey episode
Also apart from MM they had a pretty shit justice league that seemed redundant to the DCAU

Batman.
Saying this as an X-Men fan. Wolverine has a giant crutch called super powers.
Batman. Wolverine knows how to fight but if he didn't have his healing factor/claws/bones Batfags wouldn't even need to Batwank
>>94743216
Batman.
Wolverine has plenty of skill, but he often throws it out the window and just starts slashing wildly like a mad man every time he gets mad; Which is constantly.

Anyone? I really want this show to return.
>characters switch minds
>voices stay with the bodies and they just change their mannerisms
Lloyd in Space, Sonic Boom and Transformers Rescue Bots are the only shows I can think of that did this.
>Mysterious character is hidden in the shadows/off-screen/something along those lines
>Says a familiar phrase that reveals they're a character who hasn't been seen in a long time.
Always makes me hype as shit
>character a saves character b
>shortly after, character b saves character a
>>94742355
They only switch voice from a meta perspective. In universe their voices are still the same in their respective bodies. It just changes so we as the audience are aware of the situation and can follow. You can argue that it's unnecessary, but it's the standard now and isn't going anywhere.

Anyone else remember this guy?
>he gained popularity for making shitty /co/-related rants in windows movie maker
>he eventually abandoned his youtube channel to attend an art college
>despite this, his art career still failed to launch
>forced to come back to youtube for creative output, still not sustainable financially (his primary income pays minimum wage)
>having given up on dreams of the industry, he now spends all of his free time drawing and talking about cartoon pornography
Thoughts?

I did not need to be introduced to another whiney, lazy asshole who talks over slideshows of his own awful drawings. If I wanted to see Gerph and Herny, I follow them directly and that's all there is to it.
As an artist, it's cool to see people talking about your stuff. That level of exposure is nice, but I hate this form of content/presentation.
>>94741382
I've seen half bit newgrounds animators with better stories
What is people's beef with Kirbopher aka Chris Niosi. A lot of rumors about him seem un farfetched. Since he's a regular in OK KO! and an episode where he does numerous voices is coming soon, I'd figure to ask. Kirb was also a great person to direct and inquire for my own project.
>>94741366
He's okay as a person, his content is hit or miss.
>>94741366
General dickishness. I've heard stories but they're not mine to tell.
>>94741366
I've only heard bad things about him, mainly that he always plays the victim whenever he gets in deep shit that he caused.
Also TOME is one of the worst internet cartoons ever.
also he self inserted himself in said series, but that's only a small fraction of the problems the series has.

Jefferson Pierce is having quite a year. He’ll soon join The CW’s super hero lineup with a greatly anticipated new show. And now, we’re happy to announce that he’s returning to the comic racks as well with a new six-issue miniseries written by Tony Isabella, who originally created the character with Trevor Von Eeden.
BLACK LIGHTNING: COLD DEAD HANDS is written by Isabella and drawn by Clayton Henry (Harbinger). However, don’t expect a throwback to Isabella’s previous time with the character. While the hallmarks of a good Black Lightning comic are all there, Jefferson’s gone through some changes. He’s still a teacher who works to be a positive force for his students both in and out of costume, but he’s younger than he’s ever been before—around 28 years old. He’s also not married and in a departure from the show, he doesn’t have daughters.
Jefferson does, however, still have a very big problem by the name of Tobias Whale. But Black Lightning’s notorious adversary has gone through some redesigning as well. He’s now fit, built like an athlete, and he’s no longer an albino. But don’t think it’s made Tobias Whale any smaller of a problem for Jefferson or the city of Cleveland, in which the series is based. He’s as ruthless and powerful as ever.

Man, I wanted to slim down my pull list.
With Black Lightning’s CW series set to bring more awareness to the groundbreaking character than ever before, the timing has never been better for Lightning’s return to the DC Universe. Cold Dead Hands promises to be a fitting introduction to the world of Jefferson Pierce for new readers and a very welcome return for longtime fans, penned by the man who knows the supercharged hero better than anyone.
