Once they knew they had more episodes to work with they needed to keep it rolling so Bojack the asshole who finally fails to hide from it becomes Bojack the pathological basket-case. Season 2 is just about how non-functional he is. Has some great moments and it takes Diane in a very different direction than season 1, although I think they seeded it even back then in case they got the chance to do it.
Season 3 is a lot of twiddling about because they seemed to be running low on ideas.

The best season ending of the three was season two, I'd say. Season three has some good moments, but overall if you want an ending that won't be tarnished you're better off watching two and stopping.

Can we make a thread where we talk about how Dan Slott needs to be fired from ASM? He has a boner for Doc Ock and we need a new direction for the character of Peter Parker. He is fun loving Spider-Man, not a man child in a costume FFS. I mean he makes us care about Parker Industries, then TEARS IT DOWN!? I will admit, he had cool stories but his time as head writer is over. His last chance to change my mind will be Marvel Legacy. Thoughts anons?

I thought a thread on the continued relevence of Kingdom Come would be interesting, if we can put away the memes for a second.
Magog killing the Joker, and being aquitted, reflects a more realistic view of the 'pragmatic' way to resolve his endless sprees. But, of course, it also reflects a discussion we are always having. (It's also interesting how they had Injustice play out, and the implication that it's just as much self-hatred fueling Regime Superman, but that's another topic.)
On that same note, how heroes in a certain comic house are largely "...progeny of the past, inspired by the legends of those who came before... if not the morals."
So many legacy characters, and so many of them all flash and power, with little to no likable traits. Most recently Riri invading a country. The entire Civil War 2 plotline, and to be fair the first, too. I'm not going to bully Marvel; while I feel DC is doing it less, and less obnoxiously when they do, you only have to look at the lifting up of Harley, and the majority of the New 52.

At least KC didn't ruin characters for casuals like Injustice is doing. I don't think Superman will ever recover.
