Nu52 Barry is pre marriage 60s Barry of old. Even the Titans are their silver age versions again.
Nu52 wanted to modernize him. Make him more relatable and human. DC didn't want any "old" feeling with all previous traits
>>94760415
Being a mature adult fell out of style.
Look what i got in the mail today
>>94760360
You know there's a whole board for toys right?
>>94760360

>>94760414
Just get some Shopkins anon that's what all the little girls love these days.
Are there any other odd foreign versions of Blue's Clues besides the UK and Korean ones?
Bob the Builder's Voice actor is different in the US and UK
He was originally voiced by Greg Proops in the states
>>94761908
wow really?
/co/ related things that absolutely do not make you cry
>/co/ is too insecure to admit they've cried to a comic or cartoon
>>94762581
Cried? No. Certainly not over trash like Spider-Man: Blue. However, I did get a little choked up over this for a moment.
How can i break into the comics industry as a writer?
Be a relative of a comics industry executive.
>>94760125
Find a good artist who will work for you.
Marvel will accept anyone these days
Just make yourself a good writer unlike everyone else.
There are no editors holding you back but don't be a fucking retard
What are some underutilized mythological beasts in comics and cartoons?

they've been teasing this episode for around a year before it actually aired
Dobson is sad, /co/, say something to cheer him up!
>>94760031
I wouldn't want to inflate his ego
>people are talking about you behind your back online
I think they're actually insulting him right to his fat face. Maybe I'd have sympathy if he wasn't such a retched piece of shit.
>>94760031
I honestly think that the world would be better off if you were dead, but killing yourself doesn't have to be the answer if you take steps to improve who you are as a human being.
This is a bridge, /co/. Now get over it.
Is there a toll to pay?
>not doing it correctly
I'm the grumpy old troll
Who lives under the bridge
Hey, I'm the grumpy old troll
Who lives under the bridge, who's there?
If you wanna come over all you have to do is this
All you have to do is this
>>94759955
Are you speaking of some sort of troll toll?
i like this cartoon
anybody haves more info about it?
>>94759903
Looks like its target audience is literally preschoolers and moms that are watching their kids while dad is at work. And something tells you are neither.
Let me guess....
You're a full grown man, somehwere btween late 20's early 30's with no friends or hobbies and you still live with your parents and you happen to have stumbled upon this airing on the living room tv during the brief time you left your cave aka your room for some change in scenery and the show's cute characters and positive atmosphere helped alleviate some of your depression and anxiety and made you feel good for a bit.
>>94759903
Main girl is superior
>>94759993

Gumball thread here we go.
>>94759792
Gumball is fucking dead
Okay
Gumball is over
This almost makes up for Tron: UprisingAlmost.
>>94759590
A decent enough reboot of a decent enough cartoon from 30 years ago makes up for cancelling the best western action cartoon ever made aside from Samurai Jack? Naaaaaaaaaah.
>>94759648
>cancelling the best western action cartoon ever made
Beast Wars wasn't cancelled.
>>94759648
Tron:Uprising wasn't even the best action cartoon that debuted that year.
What are your thoughts on floating sound effect words in comics?
I was talking to a friend about them recently, and he called them hokey and that they make what could be compelling action scenes too cartoony. He would prefer that comics just let the reader imagine the sound of the action for themselves
Personally I think good onomatopoeia add tons to a panel. A punch to the jaw feels a lot more meaty when accompanied by a panel-sized KRAKK or whatever.
What do YOU think, /co/?
Anybody?
>>94759438
They are essential imho.
EU comics, and especially Manga use them way more creatively than US comics.
>>94759438
pic related says in his book that he used his famous ゴ[Menacing] and other "sound effects" in Jojo to convey the sounds/atmospheric music that would've been in the background of his manga.
so if you're friend isn't a comic book creator, be sure to thank him that he isn't and possibly never will be
